If you like that, you should give Boogie Wings a chance. Its unique in that if your plane gets shot down you can proceed on foot and use other vehicles to continue.

I attended my first ever Monster jam event and I'm really disapointed. It was rushed, felt rigged, and I felt ripped off for what I paid. Here's Son Uva Digger the winner of the freestyle(won the racing trophy earlier) Here's Northern Nightmare who should have won I just don't see how Digger jr won given it barely got any air and crapped out its bonus time while Nightmare did a freaking backflip! -
So I was at Monster Jam tonight and it jogged an old memory. Does anybody else remember the old Godzilla monster truck from the 1980s?

I guess I'm lucky with arcade's in my area. I have Funspot/ACAM in Laconia NH, Pinball Wizard in Nashua NH, Funworld in Salem NH, two or three Dave & Busters spread around, and worst case scenario a Chuck E Cheese I can take my niece to.- 6945 replies

I'm pretty meh on The Rock. I personally find the original Bad Boys to be his best work. A simple yet effective plot, a decent cast that plays off each other very well, and not the huge over use of pyrotechnics Bay was later known for.

I think what bothers me the most about A:CM is the interview the head of gearbox gave in Game Informer talking about why licensed games suck, why studios even bother making crappy games, and how they take on games they know they don't want just so they can make enough money to do the stuff they do want to make. He went out of his way to say the Aliens license was something the studio wanted, and yet everything that went wrong with A:CM is exactly what he outlined about crap games.- 6945 replies

I liked it well enough, but the game was just too brief, too linear, and had a severe lack of secrets or actual tombs to raid to justify the $60 bucks I paid. Overall I enjoyed Underworld a lot more.- 6945 replies

Let me tell you a little secret those "interested individuals" that are scooping up the most desired toys and scalping them, aren't all campers. Some are the sales reps that work at TRU. I know from my days of working there that there were several guys who took the job specifically to snatch the toy before it even hit the shelf.- 17369 replies

The McQuarrie concept IS the Z-95 Headhunter.... or at least one of its many variants. A young Wedge uses it in one of the X-wing comics to avenge his parent's death. As for what's seen in the photo's I'm pretty sure this is it. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Z-95t_Headhunter To be honest now that I think about it, it may as well be a new X-wing type given the jettison of the EU.

I'm not so certain that's an X-wing as much as its a late model Z-95 Headhunter. As for the Falcon props, to the best of my knowledge there was never a full 1/1 scale prop of the Falcon made like what is seen in those photos only just small sections and matte paintings. I do know a couple of 1/1 X-wings were made, and at least one got auctioned off for charity.

What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v4.0
renegadeleader1 replied to wolfx's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
So Discotek Media has picked up a new series and are hinting at what it might be. The clues are. So bad its good. Really violent. Never been released on dvd in North America. What does that sound like to you guys? I'm guessing its Baoh, Angel Cop, or Violence Jack. They already released Mad Bull 34 and Devilman. Its not Devil Lady because ADV released that on DVD a long time ago. -

I just finished Wolfenstein: New Order. Very good game and was a blast to play. Its also very much a throwback FPS with an extensive single player campaign that reminded me alot of Goldeneye/Perfect Dark. I have some thoughts on the story, but won't go into them as I really don't want to spoil it. Needless to say it will be very interesting to see where the story goes from here.- 6945 replies

X-Men: Days of Future Past, in theaters May 23, 2014
renegadeleader1 replied to azrael's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
getting ready to watch this film mostly thanks to you guys generally giving it the thumbs up. I grew up watching the 90s X-men cartoon so I'm a fan, but the movies have been a mixed bag for me. X-men- good at the time, but hasn't aged well X2- meh just meh X3- what is this f**** repugnant sh**? First Class- good film but cheesy at times Origins Wolverine- whhhhhhhooooooahhhh YOU SUCK! The Wolverine- film makers you have embaressed your ancestors and should fall on your sword.- 329 replies
