I've never been a huge GITS fan but that 1/18 scale tachikoma is too good to pass up....of course at $155 my wallet may say otherwise.

I don't think I would buy them again. Aren't you sick of them rehashing VF-1s anyway? I still like my 1/60 scale valks because I do like having scale accurate lines. The 1/60 scale I thought was perfect for them to release a bunch of mechs in the same scale. Hell I would have bought the 1/60 monster if it had ever come out.

The VF-1J bootleg was in all gray with a brownish colored canopy and it came with some weird looking gun. If I remember correctly the bootlegs actually had more diecast content than the originals.

Now I see why Hikaru wanted to fly that valk even after Roy died in it. That is one sweet ride! Nice job!

If you're willing, I'd say check your local craigslist for people selling. They usually sell new or refurbished stuff for less than retail and there's no sales tax. Or you could try buying a used one that's pre-loaded with music.

I'm voting 19. That thing is sweet. My second choice is the 11. The 21 is a distant 3rd.

Now that's a better deal than those crappy VF-1s that Toynami sold.

All my close friends know that I'm a toy nut and don't say anything. The girls I've dated have been cool with it too. My last gf wanted to buy me a display cabinet for them. My current girlfriend thinks that collecting toys is pretty normal compared to whatever else I could be into. That and she is blissfully unaware of how much I spend.

I may stay in Mission Valley. Everyone is telling me that the trolley is right there. 411923[/snapback] OH and when I say 15 minutes from the convention center I meant by freeway. Mission Valley is a better option especially because of the trolley. It'll be an easier ride getting to the convention center but damn crowded when you leave.

I like the 1/60 line. I like the fact that there's so much variety with the line. I think it's the best opportunity for destroids and the like too. Now would I buy a PV 1/60 line? Probably, BUT think of it this way....if they re-do these then it'll take them that much longer to get to other mecha. I'd rather buy new and different VFs than buy more VF-1s. I'm not burnt out yet but I have other toy priorities now.

If I remember correctly they were just going to repackage the old poseables but include a piece of the SDF-1 with each of them, similar to the Marvel Legends build a figure. I think they scrapped the idea in favor of the Battle Cry super poseables (meaning poseables with super armor) Anyway, I vote a DYRL SDF-1

Weak! Weak! Weak! There does seem to be slight retooling for some of those. Are these going to be mass releases or convention exclusives? The last time we had slight retools of figures they were wonderfest exclusives. Yeah that thing is the photo from their date. Since an actual photo would be lame I guess they decided sculpting them in relief was cool. All that stuff that makes it seem like a TV is just a stand. Seems funny to me that they would use a TV moment rather than something from DYRL. Just complete the Minmay theme and use a weird Minmay variant from the costume illusion thing.

That head looks like a superposeable head and it looks like it was just put on there for pics or it was photoshopped. Seems weird that they would do that since they should already have the head for the 1/100 Roy. As for the rarity of their exclusives....the early ones weren't hard to find, but I think that's because they were crappy and not limited. The bookends and I think the Hikaru 1S poseable were limited to smaller numbers and they actually would sell out.

Wow how things have changed. This is a new count from memory 1/72 - 9 1/60 - 19 (all things 1/60 scale) 1/48 - 24 and 8 FPs and 1 GBP 1/100 - 1

Does anyone know of a program other than DVD-Lab Pro where you can edit subtitles? I'd like to try some other projects but I doubt I'll get them done within 30 days of the trial period and $100+ is more than I want to spend right now.

I don't remember if anyone had this idea before but would you guys have preferred the accessories for the stealth and the low vis 2 be switched, so have a stealth GBP and camo FPs instead.

It's not my favorite but I think fighter mode looks pretty good. I pretty much plan on leaving this in that mode anyway. I may throw the camo GBP on a CF.
