Hmmm....so many answers to this question. $80 for the Volume 1 MPC $190ish for a shipped Robotech SDF-1 off of ebay when that was the going rate for them. The kicker is that I just noticed the other day that one of the shoulders isn't attached properly. Oh yeah, plus I bought an auction for an Orguss Orgroid, a yellowed stickered Bandai Strike Valkyrie, and some other stuff last year for $450. It made me feel better when the Strikes weren't reissued but it still seems like a lot of money.

I was actually done with my joke machine purchases but decided to pick up two of Rohby's back ups, mostly for the accessories that were included in them, but also because they were just really sweet!!!

They look way too big to be carnival/UFO type toys. They are pretty cool. Hey KidK, I'm still tempted to have someone make me one of those.

I've heard of Hush but I haven't read any of it. Is it a limited series or just a story running through the Batman titles? I guess I'll wait for the TPB.

Ugh! I saw the first one because I was forced to. The first one was absolutely horrible. I thought about walking out. Why the heck would a supernatural being do something as pedestrian as sit in a boiler room and sew?!?!?!? I had a ton of other problems with it but I've decided to block them from memory. I can't believe it made enough to warrant a sequel!!! In summary, no. I will not be watching this.

At this point, I think since we haven't heard anything about them releasing the other Evas from the movies I don't think they are coming. Personally, I think they could be working on toys for the live action movie.

D'oh! I was waiting on these. Aaargh! I didn't realize they had gotten so rare so quickly.

My first Yammie was the YF-19 ver 2 when it was first released. I remember seeing it at Frank and Sons and thinking that $125 for it was WAAAAY too expensive for it, but I truly was in awe of the thing. Later, I was "lucky" enough to find a damaged box one for $85 at Kawaii Anime in Pasadena so I picked it up. Since then I've gotten smarter and I've purchased valkyries from practically every vendor here on Macross World.

If my place was on fire and I could only save one piece from my collection.....I don't know what it would be, but the items that brought me the most joy when I opened them and played with them for the first time (in no particular order) VF-19A, Yamato Super Hikaru 1J, and Jesse's GBP recast.

Hmm. I guess I won't be in such a big rush to grab a Hikaru 1A then. I'll just pick this one up. I'm still waiting to pick up my first 1/48.
