The closest I've come to the Hasbro Smokescreen was yesterday at a TRU in Tustin, CA. I walked in and went straight to the Transformers section but didn't see any Alternators or a place for them on the shelf so I walked around the action figure section on my way to the cars. I looked around the car section and didn't find them. On my way back to the Transformers section I saw a little kid with a Smokescreen in his hand!!! I asked him where he got it and he said that it was behind some stuff as if someone was trying to hide it. Dude. It could have been mine!!! <_< Pooh.

Hmm. Interesting. I've done this test before and I only scored a 17% for geekish tendencies but today I've upgraded to full on geek at 20%. D'oh! So what's this counting to 31 on one hand business?

Man, this trading box thing is really annoying me! I can't afford a case of these things. And, if they can't guarantee a complete set in the case, you have to look around for someone who has the one(s) you need or buy another case. Even a complete set will cost you cuz sellers mark them up because they opened the boxes just to find a complete set. The last boxes had two sets of 5 in them. If you managed to get an unopened box, you got a set of normal and a set of clear haired figures. You could always buy a box and sell the other set. That's what I did.

Well the red and blue Q-raus are from DYRL which is what most of Yamato's stuff is based off of. The low vis was, I believe, a sort of "tie in" to Macross Zero if I remember correctly.

I haven't been on the boards a whole lot so this is the first picture that I've seen of the Q-rau. I think it looks okay. It always seemed so much more menacing in the movie/series, but now I see it in 3D, it doesn't seem that great. Blasphemy. I know. Having said that I'll still get it.

Okay, I'm a pretty big fan of the little buggers. I like they take a little work but overall they aren't that bad with a little paint and glue. Oh and yes there was a Max 1A in the first series. Somehow I went overboard and got three of them. As for a kakizaki, just get some Testors teal paint and there you go. If I can do it so can you

Nice custom. It looks like there is a little Misa and Kaifun in there. The design of the shuttle is pretty simple. Kind of reminds me of the Star Tours shuttle. Now landing on the moon of endor...

That Tomahawk pose looks just like the pose that was in Mission 1 of the Bandai gashapons. In mission 1, it was grey.

That looks pretty sweet but the fact that we have a sweet-looking, transforming MPC Optimus coming out soon makes me think that so should this.

It definitely depends on display space. In a perfect world I'd probably display my stuff in Gerwalk though since I think it's the best of both worlds.

I bought a couple of boxes. I got the full set of the twenty normal sharpeners. If you find a picture of the box there is a set of 10 pictures on the top of the box and another set of 10 pictures on the front of the box. Basically you either get the set of 10 on the top or front. I think one set is definitely superior to the other. The set on top of the box is the one with the SDF-1, Hikaru, Minmay, destroids, and enemy mecha while the other is basically all valkyries is various modes. The super ostrich comes with the destroid box and the other chase figure of a Super Hikaru DYRL VF-1A comes in the other. The plastic is pretty flimsy but I like the variety of the assortment. I think most people either love them or hate them. The fighters are displayed on a launch arm which I think is a nice touch. The Hikaru is about 1/48 scale as some people have already noted so it's a nice way to have a more detailed pilot with your already impressive 1/48.

Wow, I thought the Hasbro version was coming out much later. Maybe I'll pick up a Hasbro one to mess around with. Of course I have two Takara version with two more on the way. Maybe I'll just open one of my extras. Good thing I cancelled my pre-order for my other two.

What's the name of the Gundam in the first picture on the right? I like the dark gray and white color scheme. It seems kind of GBPish. I'm not a big Gundam person but I like.

I just started watching the series and it's pretty enjoyable so far. I'm almost to the second disc but so far I don't see the comparison to Eva at all aside from the main character being an unwilling pilot of a giant robot. I like the character designs and music the best. I thought I saw Yoko Kanno's name in the credits for the music. Can anyone confirm this? Quick plug - Once I'm done with the second disc I'm probably going to sell disc 1 and 2 if anyone is interested.

Alright, I admit it. I'm greedy. What are the chances of doing both? I'd like a couple of each probably.

So I assume that the original Hikaru VF-1A doesn't come with DYRL type decals.
