  1. I'd rather see something like the Thunder Hammers. A black valk sounds cool but I think for it to really look good there would have to be a lot of highlights and details on it to make it interesting for me.
  2. Okay, WTF?! I like Eva and I like armor but that is ridiculous! Yeah, why does an Eva need armor? And why does it need weird armor like that? The Evas can withstand an N2 mine. What is out there that it can't handle?
  3. I think I have about 12 or 13. One each of the re-issues plus three extra super 1Ss, a strike valk, a 1990 re-issue, jetfire and a joons. Oh and two $5 boots. Still working on organizing my collection into displays.
  4. The first three disc are really slow. I had trouble getting into it but then in disc 4 things pick up and get interesting. I'm on disc 6 right now and it's pretty interesting except that I'm a little lost since I don't remember the first few discs. Oh yeah, and the TAs are pretty damn cool looking.
  5. Yeah, I'm interested about this too. Does anyone know? Kevin? Will? Anybody?

    gbp-1s

I'd love an original gbp but for now I'm happy with my two recasts from myersjesse. Whoohoo! But does anyone have stickers for it?
  7. Okay, that's pretty sweet. I like the concept too.
  8. I usallly ask for toys from some of my friends and most of them are pretty good about getting the right things if it's easy but mostly they just get me other stuff like DVDs. My friends are cool though about hooking me up with stuff. I got a Super Ostrich for my b-day in Sept.
  9. Since we are talking of all time, it has to be the GBA but I still play my Neo Geo Color Pocket more often. Gotta love SNK vs Capcom, Match of the Millenium.
  10. If these are capsule figures then I'd imagine that they'll be sold in sets so getting tons of regults would be hard.
  11. I think the regults from Mission 2 were supposed to be the rare pieces so that may be why there are sets without them. I think Mission 2 is in scale with the first Mission so hopefully Mission 3 should be the same.
  12. For me it's partly the idea of paying $100+ for a newly released toy (1/48) and the newly acquired level headedness of not needing everything right away. I basically have the means to acquire this stuff but I don't for the above reasons. Eventually I've gotten it just a little slower than normal.
  13. That's cool. If Rohby's still willing to hook the rest of us up I'll still sign up for a couple. I guess I'll try hacking and slashing them with my meager skills.
  14. The Atari 2600 had some sweet games. Back in college, there were five guys living in the house and we had a NES, SNES, Genesis, Gameboys, Atari 2600, a PC, and eventually a Playstation and the 2600 got just as much play time as anything else. This was back in the mid 1990's so the Playstation was the most kick ass thing at the time. Games like River Raid just never lose their appeal. Pong is cool too. I think I still have a knock-off of it.
  15. I'd say your rows and rows of destroids comprise an army. That's pretty sweet. I'm too cheap to get that many of one type though unless I get really good deals.
  16. Buy them now. It seems like they go faster than the VF-1s. Oh and $65 is a good price for them.
  17. Unless you REALLY need the money, don't sell them.
  18. Interesting explanation. Do I care, not really but I agree with JsARCLIGHT in that it's cool that they are trying to mend things together. Yes, everyone knows they are totally unrelated in the real world but Robotech fans seem to take whatever was in the animation as being gospel. We all know that the missles on the stabilizers and the "YF-1R" are animation mistakes but these seem to weasel themselves into RT canon. I think this would be a silly debate if we were talking about Macross and Southern Cross but in the Robotech realm it's pretty interesting.
  19. LLA is available on one of the iMacross servers. I got it a few weeks ago. I think it's in a real player format. I haven't sat down to watch it yet as the first so is just too frickin' slow.
  20. Doesn't it sort of defeat the purpose of the recast then?
  21. I should have known s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d would have been the front runner with his three mode displays. Everytime he posts his collection I'm amazed. Anyway, this post has been pretty damn interesting. So if MW accounts for a high enough percentage of Yamato's sales, I say they should finally give us an exclusive.
  22. Sweet, if Rohby is doing the recast, I'll take a couple. I could also let him borrow my Minmay to recast. I do remember that the person that did replace his pilot with the pencil sharpener said that he had to shave some plastic off of Hikaru's butt to get him to sit low enough in the cockpit. Can you reshape resin after it's cast? I mean will we be able to reshape the recast legs to get him in the cockpit? (Of course that means I need a 1/48. )
  23. I thought MWers official sport was making their wallets cry. I thought the official sport was messing their pants when a new product picture is posted.
  24. Yeah, I remember seeing the original post about this discovery and then finally being able to see it at MW con 3. It was pretty sweet. It adds a lot of detail but I don't have a 1/48 and there wasn't an original pilot to compare to. Anybody got side by side pics?

    Your Valks

How sturdy are the poses when you put the feet of a battroid or gerwalk on the rods. The poses look cool but freak me out because I think they'll fall.
