I like both of them more than Isamu actually. Guld isn't the hero but he's a much more interesting character in Mac+ and he's got a cooler jet. Alto's just prettier.

while none of these are particularly good (no, Ring was good either) I don't actually like any of the Japanese originals either. Maybe it's a cultural thing or maybe it's just personal taste but I don't find ghost movies scary (I don't find things like The Exorcist or Paranormal Activity to be at all scary, but at least they hold my interest more than something like the ring or the grudge). Really the only segment of the Asian horror genre that actually appeals to me are the splatter films like The Machine Girl and Tokyo Gore Police.

I'm not liking the new head designs at all. I don't think they look that great on their own, but they look especially bad in context of being on the battroid. they look way to modern compared to the rest of the VF. The new head would probably have worked if the rest of the Valk had been redone to be more VF-0-esque, but just slapping it on the original design just doesn't work.

Black ops Multiplayer is broken beyond words. first off a word on kill streaks. The tactical Nuke is far worse than any other kill streak in any of the games; it's laughably easy to get and is literally game breaking. The RC-XD is only mildly annoying, and actually has little effect on the game as a whole (given that you rarely get more than 1~2 kills with each RC and you frequently die in the process). Overall though kill streaks kind of suck in Black ops. All the good kill streaks are either gone (harriers, Pavelow, AC-130, Emergency airdrop) or have been completely ruined (sentry guns, stealth bomber, chopper gunner). Of the new kill streaks, the RC-XD is the only one that's any fun to use. WHY THE F*CK DID THEY HAVE TO BRING DOGS BACK?!?!? worse than the kill streaks is how completely decimated perks are. most of the good perks have been stripped of their best attributes or removed entirely, with the few remaining being laughably weak. Now the pro versions are fairly good for most perks, but they all have ridiculous challenge requirements and you still have to pay for them once unlocked. the Weapon selection is also unbalanced as hell. sniper rifles, shotguns, and handguns are utterly worthless; LMGs, while serviceable, handle exactly the same as assault rifles only heavier and slower to reload; and every SMG is inferior to the AK74u leaving only the assault rifle class with any kind of verity. implementing currency is the worst thing ever BTW. It manages to devalue everything you do in multiplayer while simultaneously making it harder to actually get anything useful unless you contently grind contracts. even with Nukes and noob toobers, MW2 is still better than black ops.

I have about the same problem on mine, the back and belly parts never line up perfectly. (also the nosecone has never been able to lock securely on in battroid mode ever.)

I think the big thing is it's not just new feet but entirely new legs from the knee down. but yeah, it's a lot less work than getting a VF-19 out of a YF-19 (probably more like a VF-0D from a VF-0A)

There's no clear winner, so it's up the the audiences' interpretation to decide who ends up with who, where as SDF:M makes it very obvious early on that Hikaru and Misa are meant to be together, and it's more about watching Hikaru grow out of his juvenile crush on Minmei. And regarding the whole recycling material argument: I think that a big part of why Macross can get away with it and Robotech doesn't is that in Macross, while certain premises and characters tend to show up over and over, every time the actual characters and stories themselves have enough depth and complexity beyond those general archetypes that each iteration remains fresh and interesting. The characters and stories in Robotech however have virtually NOTHING to them beyond the broadest token tough chick/evil villain/young hotshot characterizations and generic alien invasion plots.

No, the really scary thing is that there where people who actually expected a serious, intelligent plot form a movie based on GI JOE :edit: FYI; I think Sommers will be sorely missed when everything is said and done. If there's one thing he's good at, it's making hilariously bad movies. There are very few people who can pull off that level of cheese and I feel like a new creative team will just loose touch with the true spirit of GI Joe.

just to make everyone panic just a little bit more; on all of the newer stands (solid arms with clear tips and hollow bases) I have, the acrylic disks that hold the arms in place have major cracks forming around the screw holes.
