  1. "Style Gen." is just a new sub-line within MPG (think MG Ver.Ka or MGEX) that this incarnation of Optimus Prime is kicking off, the whole thing absolutely has no bearing on characters that don't have a MP yet, those will be released when Takara deems them ready. MP was consolidated into MPG for easier management as part of Takara's toy line rebranding/restructuring, it is still the dedicated high-end line for Transformers toys. I really don't understand why everyone seems to think there is some deeper hidden truth to MPG, it's no different than Audi merging previously labelled A4 cars into the A5 line for the current generation. https://www.taghobby.com/archives/843719 It's essentially MP-10 ver. 2.0 – I am intrigued but from what I have seen so far, it is definitely nowhere near the class and sophistication of MP-44. Once again the hybrid design approach – which tends to invite the designers to oversimplify and under-engineer – holistically leads to sub-par results for the toy in sculpt, proportions and functionality.
  2. Ah... good times – anyone else remember this series when growing up? 😄
  3. The sculpting is certainly nice, but articulation is pretty poor for a 2025 collectible figure. Only 90 degree elbows, missing ab-crunch and torso tilt, no butterfly shoulders, no toe hinge and I'm not even sure there is a waist swivel available or that the head can do much more other than swivel side to side. Ironically Playmates 6" First Contact figures basically had the same range of motion bar ankle articulation 30 years ago.
  4. Hobby Japan got their hands on a test sample of MB Zeta Gundam. https://hjweb.jp/article/1983385/ Pattern and placement on the base is identical to the Hi-Nu one, just the text and colours differ. Wave rider wings are angled downwards. The red tip on the tail binder slides out, which opens the white part and allows the rear of beam rifle to inserted there. Pop out vernier from the heel for wave rider mode. Fully working piston within the lower leg side panel. Hard to initially recognise, but rear skirts slide/shift closer to the back plate. Beam rifle can be either stored on the wing binder or on the arm. There will be a grenade launcher for each arm. Two beam blade effect parts will be included, can also be used for the rifle.
  5. You are right, I think Moshow labelled the first video I posted yesterday incorrectly.
  6. 4.543 billion years – to be exact. 😄 Nevertheless this is fantastic news and although I don't really collect PG, for the Nu Gundam I'm going to make an exception.
  7. Black Tri-Stars team would be so proud... Moshow will offer all three Butcher mechs as a set buy.
  8. Hmm... might skip this one and wait for a true deluxe version that includes the super parts. The acrylic Freyja stand thing is completely lost on me.
  9. I'm curious as to how they are going to fold F4 from the 60s into modern day MCU stuff, if at all?
  10. Alien vs. Calvin – whoever wins... there is a Predator already on the hunt... but only the Terminator will have the last say....
  11. Metal Build Gundam Astray Red Frame -Project Astray- https://www.taghobby.com/archives/827419 - Available at P-Bandai Hong Kong or Tamashii Nations Store Shanghai - Pre-order 24 January, released in March
  12. More from the T-Spark event – first look at Nucleon Quest Super Convoy.
  13. Hmm... AMT Predaking is like the exact opposite of MPG Raiden. Combined form is great, but the individual bots look like something from the Hasbro cheapness playbook.
  14. Deluxe Pack – https://www.taghobby.com/archives/829651 Battroid only – https://www.taghobby.com/archives/829577 Gerwalk only – https://www.taghobby.com/archives/829626 Fighter only – https://www.taghobby.com/archives/829594 That should make it around 1/72 scale if I'm not mistaken. Battroid mode is pretty cool with all those articulation points, happy there is a company that is finally putting some emphasis on this and also some neat features.
  15. MoshowToys announcing Illustrious Class Tyrant – Foxhound Squad II as their next product. I don't know what they were thinking making this video, but it had me laughing – especially the "freedom and democracy" part. Just watch it...
  16. Additional pics... 8,250 Yen (incl. tax). https://www.taghobby.com/archives/828624 https://www.taghobby.com/archives/828062
  17. You got the touch... I got the Power...master.... 😜😄
