  1. Some product sample images of the MG Narrative have been shared. According to auto-translation, Katoki seems to have placed emphasis on the psycho frame and core block system. https://hjweb.jp/article/1221840/ Thinking about it the Rx-9 would actually recommend itself for a MSV with a refined full exterior armour.
  2. Apparently designed by T-Rex team, but I'm not quite convinced with the proportions and sculpt. Looks very toyetic compared to their usual offerings and that price of 98k Yen is just crazy.
  3. Voltron from the Netflix series is getting the RIOBOT treatment. There will also an exclusive variant with wing parts for the black lion. https://www.taghobby.com/archives/746223 https://www.taghobby.com/archives/746188 Edit: More pictures where posted in the Voltron thread earlier.
  4. Schizophonic review of Max's YF-29. Bandai seems to have done a couple of tweaks to the parts for better colour separation. http://schizophonic9.com/re8/hg_yf29max.html
  5. Re-release of Shin Getter 1 as a renewal and prototype version. The renewal gets a new weapon and more paint. https://www.taghobby.com/archives/745375 https://www.taghobby.com/archives/745397
  6. Finally! Sentinel is re-releasing Shin Getter 1 again as a renewal and prototype version. The renewal gets a new weapon and more paint. https://www.taghobby.com/archives/745375 https://www.taghobby.com/archives/745397
  7. Articulation for the DX looks like it will make it a joy to handle and place in dynamic poses. The flip out shin and extending foot is a much better approach for Battroid stability, compared to the unstable and annoying sliding mechanism that Yamato employed. For fighter mode it is great that we don't have to use the underside of the feet to fill out the back end. The DX Battroid also has an overall better silhouette/structure to me, it doesn't suffer from wide hip syndrome like the Yamato. I also like how the head seems to poke out of the hood and be more visible.
  8. This hopefully opens up the door for a VF-19S/F release.
  9. MB Ootori Strike Pack available for pre-order now. Release: March '24 Price: 14000 Yen (excl. tax) https://www.anime-export.com/index.php?product=73617 Of interest might be that Bandai plans to re-release the other Striker Packs again. https://tamashiiweb.com/item/14681/?wovn=en https://www.taghobby.com/archives/741510
  10. Super Mini Pla Baikanfu getting a reissue for Feb '24. https://hobby.dengeki.com/news/2111609/
  11. It's the sunken cheeks sculpting that creates the very pronounced front-chin section. For comparison Bandai's DX take on the VF-1S head (pic borrowed from @sh9000). I'm more disappointed that it is yet another VF-1 toy with add-on side cover bits, instead of trying to be innovative with an integral solution.
  12. For anyone that is still looking -> https://kuramatoys.com/metal-build-kampfer-action-figure/. Pass for me, that's a $40 higher markup compared to AE. Yep, I have read that too and surprised AE is already out of stock. Hopefully it's just a popularity thing for the Alex and not Bandai cracking down.
  13. Compared to say Psycho/Mk. II Gundam which transforms into err... a giant block with wings!? I would say the Destroy Gundam does it better, with a more purposeful and distinguishable "monster mode". And this is coming from someone that rates UC stuff > everything else. The Forbidden to me is a great bad guy Gundam design, it wears its hat with pride. 😛 The Full Mechanics line hasn't been on my radar, but I might get this one. Maybe one day we get a Metal Build of it, now that would be awesome.
  14. Dengeki Hobby posted some further detail shots of the Kämpfer being displayed at the Tokyo Tamashii store. I just noticed that the base has nice touch with those street markings printed on.
