  1. LOL you and everyone else.
  2. If it`s good people will buy it and the finnished item will speak for it`s self.
  3. A Valk is a plane that can just for convenience turn into a robot. Planes are cool and robots are cool so mix em up and Valks are cool x2. The only Gerwalks that look good are the VF-0 and VF-1 all the others look a little strange.

    Comic Strip #1

Glad to see your still safe and well, You make it sound so safe and traquil over in Bagdad, Im sure its not so keep safe and hope you get enough down time to do some more artwork.
  5. OH yeah !! You are a God. There`s a whole 1/55 sub comunity here at MW. So I think you`ll have no problems here selling your wares or indeed getting any ideas. Theres so much going on in the world of the chunky at the mo that I think it should have its own thread folder in the toys section. All your ideas are spot on, but Im sure you could make some resin and RTV company very rich if you went for all the designs and recasts everyone here will undoubtably sugest. I could think of a few right now. I`d like to see some hands for one more like the 1/48 clown hands posed into different poses like open hands and the cupped hand for holding the barrel of the GU-11. Ive tried to make them myself but they ended up looking silly more akin to something Kanata would use on his Spawn/Macross hybrids.
  6. LOL I saw one that said my dad is a computer geek. also one that said I want to be a Jedi when I grow up.
  7. Well I already was going to get the Starscream so I guess you could chalk me up for that and maybe the zero too.
  8. Silver you know I rate your work so you could count me in for one.

    Munny Custom Vf-11b

    LOL, Munmay 419074[/snapback]
  13. Yeah but Kirk would still bang everything on two legs, shot first and disobey orders. she could just blame it on PMT thats all.
  14. As far as I was aware they didnt do a reissue of it. Shame as It would probably sell well. Come on someone step up to the plate we want chunky GBP armor.
  15. I gues I`ll be getting me some of those. As far as Batroid posing is concerned you have to think slightly differently the Gerwalk and Batroid have different requirement for mobility in the joints. You can do the middle ground but to get the best for each would make it not good in the others mode.
  16. Oh darn that will be another Hasegawa kit to buy then Thats exactly what I was thinking
  17. I did look at these some time ago and completely forgot about it. Just checked the link to HLJ and they say they are discontinued.
  18. Great work. I know how teadious it can be winding your own coils and such. I used to have to wind transfromer coils by hand "Yawn". Dont wear yourself out this next week, I,m on holiday this week and I`ve already been given "little jobs" to do round the house. So no fun for me.

    Munny Custom Vf-11b

All the created munny`s I`ve seen are great, without exception. How long till some one doesn a Minmay one !!
  20. It`s great to see more new paint variants, but I feel sorry for all who have paid good money to mod/paint there own.
  21. Yeah buy em up get an air gun and line them up.
  22. Well so far the Wave joints have won me they are not bad on price and a tight fit. If you compare them to the joints on the TF Alternators/Binaltech line then they are light years ahead. The TF ones are as random as the Yamie 1/60 joints when it comes to stiffness. I admit I dont paly with them as much as some but the Wave joints i have used so far have had a load of abuse from me being on my development 1/55 they are constantly being moved and unclipped and reclipped, as of yet they are as good as new. I dare say that Skull or someone could design a more techincal wear test and come up with a defined result, but for me they are stronger than the original wobly bootlegs joints.
  23. Congratulations. This new kit is gonna be your most expensive build yet (and probably ever). Think hard about the colour scheme as if you get it wrong you`ll pay for it in 18 years time when you show the photos off to her boyfriend. Oh god you`ll have to vet them, "do you know what Macross is ?" , "No" , "O.K theres the door" The step by step for this ones gonna be a long one.
  24. Well the bootlegs fall into two catagories as far as 1/55 is concerned. You have the Joons bootleg which is second only to the original Taka or Bandai, these are the ones you see in the packaging similar to the Taka packing from the 80`s. Then you have the $5-$10 ones that come on a card and blister these are cheap all plastic casts of I think a late Taka. They are made of soft plastic much the same as a Hasegawa kit. Many of the parts are interchangable with the real 1/55`s. The are inferior to all in build quaility but they are great for customs. They cost nothing and can be glued with normal modelkit glue and filled sanded etc very easily. I have four of them that came on different cards two with fastpacks and two with out. You can do all the mods Skull does with the exception of the taper swing bar as they are made of plastic. You can though sub the parts for the metal ones if you have some spare. I have been modding one of these to do a more radical thigh and leg mod. the plastic parts are a god send as if I were to use the metal leg parts from an original it would take ages to file them out as I did in minutes on the bootleg.
