If these things go for so much how come theres not a whole load of em out there . Recasts they may drop the value of the master would certainly get a few pounds/dollars. Maybe also how come other munny sculpters havent jumped on this bandwagon.. Not to talk down Rohby`s work (which is outstanding) but If you can get 300 bucks for one maybe a production run version would be good. I mean one that is different from all the one off`s that can be identified as a production run version. Im sure there are MW members who`d love one but cant shell $300 for it. Something as a limited run serial numbered etc.

Well back inthe day 1986ish to be more precise. I painted a monster in a colour scheme not to unalike to the Yamie 1/48 LVv2. Although I dont really like the Colours on a Valk it does really look cool on the monster. you can kinda see a monster hidden in a tree`d area waiting for its quarry to come into range. I think it fits this mecha well. I was going to do a snow one as well for Alaska base, but I never got around to it. Then the shop near me dumped all its Macross stuff as Macross was uncool. All those 1/200 monsters Glaugs and officer pods and 1/72 Vf`s and practically all the Arii line all went up for a few pounds each and sold in a couple of days. I missed out as I was away. Well That hopefully can give you a few ideas

EXO "You da man"
-
You cant see ???? Mee too . I just like the clear hi res dial up unfriendly pictures compared to the ususal low quality ones on websites etc.
-
Yup should be made a requirement of membership. I think EXO wins as his slowed my broadband down for a second there. Gonna have to go to the printers now. Just replaced the one that I had as my windoze desktop (same as valk1j) to the one EXO has. OOOOOOOhhhhhhh !!! brings tears to my eyes.

Yeah I know what you mean about the weather it was 102F in our garden today. My Primer was drying as it hit the 1/55 parts I was painting. Once Ive finnished the wall round my new Koi pond (It only needs the capping done) my next project is to extend our leanto shed which is mostly used for garden tools and bikes. This will hopefully free up some room and give me the much needed work room space in my workshop/shed.
-
That improves on an already good improvement on previous FastPack attempts (1/60 and 1/55). I think you may have some takers here if you can get more of them.
-
Yes they did do an armarda Jetfire but the resemblance to the Good ole Jetfire is the name only. Not a sniff of anything remotely Macross. Takara/Hasbro should have done a Skyfire IMO

If NB4M dosent come through for you you could try SilverDragon as he makes Strike armor and would be willing Im sure to set you up with the missing parts you need. His work is also great and pricces arent bad eaither. The heads I have in the past tried to find someone to sell me them ( I did get one). The best option would be for ALL the 1/55 custom people to get together and pester some one like Silver or NB4M to make casts of them. Im rather sick of S heads on all my Valks. As for the heat shields there a guy who sometimes sells em on eBay in batches of 10 they are cheap and excellent quaility. Unfortunately I need all 10 that I got otherwise I`d gladly have sent you one. As far as custom decals are concerned there a a few who do them here. Its just down to If ytou want stickers or transfer decals. I should let others chime in on whos are better as I have not actually used any yet. Although my Millia needs a set to finish it off. Anasazi has decals for them and most of the Official and unofficial Vf `s. He is the decal God In most peoples opinion.

The Yammie Cannon VF1 is gonna be on my purchase list when Im in Japan in October.
-
They are the stickers that you get for the Transformer Jetfire. In case you dont know Jetfire is a Fast Pack VF1-S with a blunted nose, it has many of the same stickers the Macross ones have with a few extra Transformers ones.

I`d love the space to have all those tools in a shop. As it is i have the building space but its all taken up by the Bikes and car, and garden stuff.
-
Mmmm !! keep us informed. Just under a meter tall in Batroid mode If I worked it out right. Cool.
-
may as well post it as It will answer questions here and may be help others in the future.
-
Yup thats one of mine in the pipeline jobs. My bro wants it to go with his normal jetfire. Done the armor so far next the body work I Think. Interspaced by a bit more work on my superposable 1/55.
-
Subtle and excellent. Ive always liked the CF and now I like even more.
-
Well Thats something I should do to my engineers square. Very usefull. Nice craftsmanship there MT. Oh and theres an ant on one of your pictures, Oh no my mistake it`s an VF1
-
nice!! excellent pictures Now I want one even more

Well you should be O.K for the NB4 Xmas stuff as there is loads of it arround over there. The Toy shop (cant remember name) thats at the oposite end of the road to the electric town station in AKI (by the park) has loads on floor 4 IIRC. Someone here will be able to chime in on names as I have forgotten. but its right oposite the next railstation from AKI electric town. Incidently Its my intention to return in late October as well so shoot me a PM and maybe we could hook up. If you want a more upto date on product stock levels then contact SaveRobotech as he lives in Taito town and could probably go round and count em all for you

That improves it a lot.

There are deals on eBay from time to time I got a Bandai antena`ed Matsu with the Sticker logo nice white plastic with a few scratches and chips on its legs (no armor) for about £10. Luckly for me I had all the armor bits Imaculate condition already. It now sits next to my original Bandai Jetfire bought from my local Argos shop in 1985. I have bid on others and missed one (transfer logo) by a few pence. Mostly they seem to go for big money at the moment. With the upcomming live action TF flim interest in Transformers is going up so expect the related prices to follow, the bad or good thing depending on if your the buyer or seller is that Macross my well follow. I`ve already noticed there is a lot more Macross stuff for sale on eBlag recently. My advise would be search for "Jetfire" and use the world option, I have found that the ones being sold in the U.K sell for more than in the U.S. Most of my Jetfires (yellowed and brokens included have been cheaper from the U.S even with EMS included. You could make one just for your self but trying to pass em off on eBay and you might get people on your back.

Great job There see all you Air brushers, rattle cans and brushes still work.
-
Thats the trouble with digital cameras they show up everything. Great custom though
-
Yeah it still cost me some, but I was like ooh I could use that for... and that would make a really good .... etc. But He said that the dental probes and stuff that they use usually get chucked after they get blunt so he said you should ask dentists to hold them for you as they make great modleing tools. I have various scrapers and probes and such and a small spatula thing they use for applying the stuff that make fillings. the pointy probe is great for scribing pannel lines
