Ive always liked the satin finish. It always looks good and is not to Gareish like gloss can be and not to dull and un finnished looking like matt can be. That said My last 1/55 custom (a Miria) was finished in gloss. My current one (see sig) is going to be a satin. Thats not to say they dont all have their place. I just like Satin more. That said I dont tend to play much with my toys. I supose in a case of whats strongest your probably better asking which brands paints are the strongest in each catagory instead. As long as you have a good keying paint primer on the die-cast bits your not going to go to far wrong.

The surface mount LED`s are available in strips from Several of the larger electronic component vendors. in England you can try R.S or C.P.C as they stock them over in the U.S im Sure that you could speak to someone like Radio Shack. As M.T says you can power them from 3v watch batteries and cable them up with single strands of wire taken from electrical cable. In the past I made something that had the strands glued into groves like deep pannel lines that wer painted over the top so you couldnt see them. Another source could be broken moblie phones as they all use them on the key boards and under the screens although you are limmited to yellow white or green depending on the model and make. Just dont give them too much heat when un soldering them.

The mod I thought out for more posable feet works in theory but when put into practice does not give you that much more movement over standard feet. I could give it more movement by sanding down the width of the feet parts a few mm more than I did but this was something I didnt realise untill Id painted them. When I do a super posable Gerwalk this will be adressed. I think you could adapt my idea to allow you to use it on a transformable 1/55 with a little bit of refabrication in the hidden area inside the leg, akin to what Fulcy and Kid Kurupt did a while ago.

Your work ammount makes my project look a little slow.

The Hasegawa ones are almost the same as the Thunbderbirds display team ones. I had one of the kits of them from LS they were (maybe still are) a areobatics team who flew Phantoms. I think (correct me if Im wrong) this is where S.K got his idea from

certainly is the simplest method Ive seen. Once Im done with the super posable all my others will get the Skull1 mod treatment.

A 1/10 scale Gu-11 Shoot next doors kids with little foam bullets with authentic Macross sounds. SDF1 Crockery and China. Great for those otherwise borring dinner parties. Glovals uniform to go with the cap and pipe. If im gonna wear the cap might as well have the whole thing. A Macross multi player simulator. I want to be able to fly my valk and bash zentrans in First person perspective and transform and go toe to to in Macross city ( like a cross between Mechwarrior and a good quaility fighter pilot simulator) get all nostalgic with my Macross budies from MW and MN. A Sharon Apple scaled computer case. My pc might not want to take over the world but it can still look like it may want to with it`s black case and menasing red eye.
