  1. I have a feeling that that’s probably happening, probably depending on sales. I kinda wish they had also redesigned the upper torso to add in a bit of a joint to lean forward similar to how the revoltech and tomy tech vf’s did. That would’ve allowed a better range of motion.
  2. I think the last ones have been Grogu and book of boba Fett, Boba Fett, they have been slowing down and I haven’t seen much as far as vehicles, maybe there was a droid, but I might be imagining that.
  3. I don’t have much hope for the Rey movie. I actually like the character despite being in some not so good movies, but then the person in charge of it didn’t seem to have a great resume. Ms Marvel was kind of a let down and could have been good in better hands , same as the sequels. I get the feeling that Disney doesn’t know how to learn from their mistakes
  4. I guess I’m lucky that I’m nearsighted. Just watch out for me on the road
  5. I’m really glad it worked for you. I’m still a bit worried about trying it myself
  6. It would probably take too much space for rumored or early announcements, but it would also be hilarious for that one time in twenty if the show actually happened and to have the person that started the thread doing a decade later I told you so
  7. I kinda think that unless the wings are unfolded that the waist rotation will be equally as comical
  8. That scout looks pretty cool for a first try. I wish that the Japanese companies gave it a go, but so far they really haven’t. It’s too bad that they didn’t get to refine the toy better before losing the license. A few minor changes and it could have been perfect, but glad to see someone tried
  9. I get the idea of updating the old battroid kit, but not sure if the upgrades in the hip will add much range of movement. I kinda remember the high thigh, intakes being almost right up against the wings. I guess if the wings are unfolded, it probably would help.
  10. I’d be really careful with that one. A quick dab probably wouldn’t do much, but I’d be way to afraid of it doing damage
  11. For oils I usually use mineral spirits or 70% alcohol. Anything higher than 70% seems too harsh on the paints and top coats. Some people love zippo fluid, but I’m usually not around the smoke shops
  12. I kinda wonder if it just means that the head mounts further back.
  13. It’s an interesting entry. I didn’t know Poland Spring water was a popular enough item to make such a glorious and meticulously detailed reproduction. And to make it appear as though there was actually water in that was left over. The judges must have been highly impressed
  14. I remember that one, that story has made me paranoid about the tamiya panel liner ever since. I usually test it out before use on extra spruce pieces and find it to be particularly harsh on certain plastics. Ive never been able to find the flory’s washes, but I usually either use an oil wash or water color pencils.
  15. You’re definitely correct about those two films taking energy away. But I don’t think this movie had a marvel or dc budget and it did seem to have some good numbers internationally as well. Seems more nerds and geeks feel a closer bond to Dungeons and Dragons than they had for Shazam and Antman, but I don’t really know all the numbers on this one and maybe it won’t break even right away or at all.
  16. Definitely an underrated band. They have some of my favorite songs and one of my all time favorite albums. Although this song came earlier than my favorite album, most had a few I can’t get enough of. This song and Rain are my favorites from the Love album. My favorite album of theirs is Sonic Temple. I could listen to that album start to finish and start over again and probably again and not be bored. Beyond Good and Evil has my favorite song of theirs, Rise and was a pretty good album for one of their later ones. I also gotta say that it takes some real guts and talent for Ian Astbury to have stepped in for Jim Morrison with members of the Doors for a stint with them. I also gotta add that Ian was so animated playing a tambourine when I saw them a couple decades back that somehow he made the tambourine seem like a cool instrument
  17. I’ve done brush painting entire kits in the past and I’m so glad I stopped. I still do small parts here and there or use them for weathering, but the builders that surprise me are the ones that brush paint entirely with lacquer paints. I feel like the airbrush is an immense time saver even with the fact that you might have to take time to clean it or mask the kit. These days there seem to be easier methods for hand brushing. My daughter got into Warhammer and they have been using speed paint techniques that look like they could be pretty useful on the pilot figures. As far as chipping, I sometimes use a water color pencil in a shade slightly lighter than the base color an somewhat randomly tap the kit closer to higher spots and then use a gray one to draw little scratch marks in the middle of those first marks to make it kinda look like older paint that’s been chipped, but I think it’s a bit of a slow process and might go back to the sponge method.
  18. The comic designs for the turtles are still my favorites
  19. I like the kid playing him and really hope this movie will be worth it
  20. My daughter saw it and really enjoyed it. She said it was far better than expected. Now I guess I gotta find time to check it out
