  1. I think it could’ve fit fine. And it would’ve given a more interesting reason for Jod to have had a lightsaber. They could’ve had the crew too busy fighting off those x-wings. It really was just a suggestion of something far more interesting than what we got. Which was a total letdown that didn’t mesh well with the story
  2. Disney has a really bad problem with conclusions. I have a bad feeling about this one ending well enough.
  3. On prime they have a series of documentaries for Robocop called Robodoc. For such a long documentary of behind the scenes and making of, it’s highly entertaining. I never thought I’d get so into a documentary about a movie that’s four or five times longer than the actual movie, but it’s really a lot of fun and broken up well. There was a segment about the baddies and how a lot of their lines and actions were just improved. The guy playing Steve Minh said that he kinda just came up with the one handed shotgun pump on the fly and it was the first time ever in a movie. And now every action film seems to throw in a scene like that. All the other guys had little things they threw in here and there making for one of the most iconic criminal gangs ever in an action film. Anyway, it’s a fun watch and these figures look great. I like the vhs packaging
  4. Is it finally coming out? There seems to be so little talk about this one anymore that all excitement or basic interest seems to have been lost months ago
  5. That’s basically my thing here. It could’ve even given us a really cool swashbuckling pirate fight on the edge of a ship going down in flames or something. We basically just got a heist story ending without the ending
  6. It has a wf tag on the post, so more than likely
  7. Unfortunately it made for a dull ending
  8. You probably have to be at the event or know someone attending
  9. I just don’t think Jod was a big bad at all. He came off more of a space nanny that was just using the kids to get to the gold. The werewolf guy seemed more like a bad guy. The ending unfortunately suffered from being too dull. And really could’ve used some real tension brought in by the werewolf. The characters left were just kinda whatever. Sure there was a bit of action on the side, but it just felt like the main bit of it was going nowhere and in the end actually went nowhere. I get that it’s a kids show, and because of that I wasn’t expecting any blood or anything or a high body count or even any deat at all, just kinda needed a stronger ending that actually felt like an ending. Maybe something more to root for. And I wasn’t waiting for the end credit scene to tease a second season, just something to finish this one. Instead it just ended. It was a pretty ending, but overall real letdown unfortunately.
  10. I loved those as a kid.
  11. I will say that even though as a comparison between Gundam and Macross that at least Macross seems to end a conflict while Gundam just has sides fighting eachother a second, third and more times without a real reason to go on other than a corporation wanting to make money off both sides or something.
  12. Seriously. I was waiting for an after credit scene. It never happened. I feel like the act of killing captain Werewolf in the last episode was a bad mistake for the writing in this episode. Without having a real bad guy at the last episode really ended up harming the ending. Like they just had a boatload of bafoons left as aggressors. It basically ended up like a big open faced sandwich without anything on top of the bread. on the good side the episode looked pretty….
  13. That’s basically how I felt about the ending
  14. I’m sorry to hear that. If you’re in a rush, there’s always the local store option in a couple months, otherwise they’ll probably make some more in a bit later
  15. Late to the conversation here again due to power restrictions and finally figured out a work around for getting subtitles on Macross plus for my tv. Had to watch a couple episodes out of excitement. Anyway finally was able to watch the final episode of Skeleton Crew and it ended……………
  16. Here’s a pic of a couple upcoming prototypes from taghobby
  17. It’s definitely a good movie, but one that I can never watch again
  18. I think it’s more about the look than the gimmick. None of the transforming ones look quite right. But the trade off here is the cost is too high
  19. So I haven’t Ben able to test it until just a bit ago since we’ve been without power for the last few days. But I tried casting Hulu first thing when the power came back on because of your mention here and that seems to work on the Macross plus OVA. Not sure about the other stuff yet, but I’ve watched two episodes so far and now I got the subs on the tv. Bassically for anyone else having this issue needing the subs, try casting from your phone as a work around
  20. As far as patriotic mecha, nothing beatsI’m all in for taco time and this one seemed ready for a good swim, so fish tacos for the win
  21. I’ll always remember Eraserhead. Oddly the making of was chaotically entertaining for that one. Twin Peaks was a series that was way different from anything else on TV at the time. He was very creative in his work
  22. I agree there, but I don’t need it in 1/72 and that price is definitely a bit high. If it was something different than 1/72, like 1/100 or smaller then I’d be more interested but as is it really doesn’t look different enough from the plamax.
  23. It showed back ordered for me as well until the email last night that informed me they were in my private warehouse. You might want to give a little time to see if the status changes
  24. ABS is usually the hard plastic of larger parts. It can be tough for a solid structure, but may be a bit brittle under constant stress. PVC is usually much softer. I don’t have this toy, but often will be used in things like softer parts for hands. Pom can have a hard nylon consistency that won’t be as hard as ABS, but often used in joints on toys since it doesn’t wear as much as Hard ABS and isn’t overly squishy like pvc. It’s very solid feeling most of the time, but has a little give to where it won’t just crack with stress. Again, I don’t have this particular toy and can’t exactly confirm how parts are made here, just how these materials usually are used in other toys. PVC and Pom can have very different consistency and uses, but ABS is always hard plastic it’s mostly outer shells of bigger parts
