  1. I’m glad they’re gonna give Daredevil another chance, but it’s not gonna be what it was. I’ve been thinking more and more about getting rid of Disney plus. I should probably try secret invasion, but I only know one person that tried it and they said it wasn’t worth it. Right now I’ve only been watching some of the past content rather than the new since it’s been such a let down. Disney needs desperately to hire some great writers to keep their subscribers. They have access to some great franchises, yet over and over again they find a way to botch them. I used to think they were a great option to have with access to movies and shows not only from Disney, but Marvel and Lucasfilm as well. But the recent movie ms and shows have been mostly lame and I’ve lost the excitement I had a couple years ago for the service.
  2. You’re better off skipping them. She Hulk was the worst and most annoying of them and just an all around crappy show. And ms Marvel fizzled fast, with a super fluff story. Neither show really gained an audience and it’s a struggle to find anyone that actually bothered watching them
  3. Side F hg hobby Hi-Zack. Saw this at tag hobby. makes me hopeful that one day they finally will get around to the Hi-zack custom
  4. I don’t think that’s the issue. People are cutting back due to poor content. The last few shows were duds. Ms Marvel was a nothing show, She hulk was terrible. I liked Moon Knight, but it was far from perfect, Loki was pretty good, even though I hate the multiverse and not many people could stomach the first few Wandavision episodes. Falcon and Winter soldier was pretty good and I did like Hawkeye, but definitely not super memorable.
  5. I had the same issue. I knew this would be a cool toy, but with the upcoming moderoid, I had to make a choice. I went with the moderoid due to price and my love for the hobby, but the hmr does look great
  6. The p Bandai USA store has the option packs for the Scopedog. 20 bucks each though
  7. At least with front missions it was one weapon per hard point. This has a shoulder mounted dual cannon with a missile launcher mounted to the cannon on one side and a shoulder mounted dual cannon with another cannon mounted to that on the other side. This thing is ridiculous as is, hopefully they trim it down a bit
  8. I don’t think that Mando was too hard to get into. I’ve never watched the cg clone wars or other cg starwars shows, mostly because the style was too ugly for me to look at. But even though things may be hinted at, it doesn’t seem to matter at least for the first couple seasons. I still haven’t seen the third one, all the talk kinda turned me away from it, but I sort of liked the show when it was more episode by episode rather than trying to be a connective story. Disney rarely has good writing that can handle a long narrative. Andor had a terrible first couple episodes, but the writers got better as the show went on, even if there were still things to nitpick here and there and way too much cereal.
  9. It reminds me of early nineties comics where a gun wasn’t good enough unless it was ten guns in one.
  10. Streaming is definitely an issue, but if they change the formula and release the movies to streaming a bit later, it may help. Somehow people went to go see the new mission impossible movie on a non holiday Wednesday night for some reason, so people definitely want to see a good movie, just the current formula of crap movies with a big franchise won’t work. You gotta use the potential of a great franchise and get the writers and deliver something worth people’s time
  11. They did have plans for a show, but after all the talk and overall lack of interest, who knows if that’s gonna happen. A lot of people seem to dislike ms Fleabag and that may not work out for viewership
  12. It had an unfortunate stink around it from the previous shows, but it also got bad word of mouth due to the bad first two episodes. It’s hard for a show to pick up an audience that gave up before the show started getting good in the third one.
  13. That does look pretty great, and I don’t even like the 25’s much
  14. It probably would have made more if it wasn’t for the stink of recent Disney. Eternals was horribly forgettable and convoluted, Dr Strange wasn’t very good, I personally liked the last Thor, but the word of mouth wasn’t there from others and Wakanda Forever was unfortunately missing its star. Ant man came out with bad writing and cheap looking effects. So to be honest it was a lackluster line of films leading up to it, yet it still ended up getting an audience. As far as DC, their strategy for movies has been a mistake. The weird idea of connecting movies and things that don’t have anything to do with anything is odd. Although Joker and the Batman did alright. The Snyderverse was a total failure though that started with having the greatest set of A list characters and found a way to make them boring. There were a couple movies there that were pretty good, but it’s tough for a great film like the Suicide Squad to bring an audience that had recently seen the crappy Suicide Squad. When the most likable characters in the Snyderverse were Wonder Woman, which had one good movie and another crappy one and a guy who talks to fish then you know the franchise was doomed. Sony put out some crap as well, but that didn’t stop audiences from checking out their Spider-Man films. I will sound like a broken record and say again that I hate the multiverse/time travel gimmick, but people went to see those movies and with the most recent one coming at such a rough time for superheroes, people still wanted to see it. The bottom line is that if they take the time to put together great movies, people will show up wether it’s a superhero movie or a guy flying a jet
  15. I’ve said it before, but I still don’t believe in superhero fatigue. Give people a great movie and they’ll show up. If there’s good word from people and critics, then people will check it out. That goes for shows as well as films. People are excited for The Boys and Invincible, but could care less for poorly written shows like She Hulk or Mrs Marvel. If Gunn can bring an audience with Guardians of the Galaxy 3, he’s got a good chance at this new project, but if the writing isn’t there then nobody will care.
  16. I don’t think a complete recasting would work as well as with Bond. We’ve all grown up with several bond actors, but recasting Indy would be like recasting main characters from Die Hard, or Lethal Weapon. Those films had iconic stars. They would have to get an amazing writing team together to make that transition. Mad Max was a very rare exception, but since this is Disney, it would probably end up more like Solo at best
  17. Honestly, I’ve never been so excited for such a nothing bit of news. But whatever, I’m celebrating anyway
  18. The house we looked at before settling on this one had a shed with electrical lighting, a work table and extra outlets. It wasn’t too ideal otherwise since it had stupidly thin stairs that would’ve infuriated me daily since they built the main floor on top and there was next to no yard at all. Most of the yard was the shed. It had other issues as well, but at least the temperature was pretty low for Southern California. the shed did seem pretty cool though and is something I would consider building at this house
  19. That’s a pretty cool set. I like those Hammond collection dinos and the Spielberg looks surprisingly good at that scale
