    I’ve always liked these designs, they sorta had that familiar look to them with some interesting updates to make them still appear in world

    That’s the Imai one. If you look close at the lower right corner, you can see their logo. Bandai bought their molds and it the same kit. So if you see a bandai one, it’s just a more recent production run of that kit. That goes for a good amount of Imai kits. Bandai often rereleases their old models under their name for anniversary specials. Anyway, get ready to really put in some work on those seams and stock up on that glue and putty. You may also want to practice scribing as well. I remember the panels on the face didn’t match too well and it will be easier to fill in one side and prescribe them. I think I had to use hot water to straighten out the arms to align them.

    I was kinda meaning movie wise. I guess as far as books, maybe most dangerous game might be the og, but I’m not really sure there. I read a few of King’s books when I was younger, but decided that it’s for the best if I never read story books anymore. I figure if it’s a decent story they’ll make a movie. And I really don’t want to be that guy that everyone totally hates that says “the book was better”.

    Is it the Imai one? because I know for sure that one definitely eats the putty. All four cannons every part on the legs and the rms and the body. Lots of big seams. Also alignment issues as well. Some big parts on the arms were warped a bit as well from what I remember. It looks great if you really put in the work though I’ve never seen the Arii kit actually built, so if it’s that one, I’d love to see all the steps.

    I don’t hate the Dom, but the third leg is definitely weird. It’s probably the only thing I really don’t like on it, but there’s already better Dom kits out there. Kinda like the big kneecaps though

    I doubt it would affect older stuff, but as far as the new series or other anime, then it could be a problem Maybe unfortunately, the animation budget would be way too high that way. Even at the height of the 80’s when there were tons of American Awsome shows, they were almost all actually animated either in Japan or some other Asian country to keep the costs down. I’m all for America giving animation a go again, but it’s definitely not gonna be something doable for a few years.

    I guess that someone had to do it. Overall, I think it’s a really great album, even though the first track is a bit too close to being a Journey song. Strangely, for having a rather dark haunting look this album cycle, they’ve released their happiest sounding album. Very joyful and full of familiar sounds, yet sounding like something totally unheard of at the same time. The song structures are very interesting and lots of bass is a good thing.

    I don’t know which character you’re talking about, but I don’t think I want to watch that happen. But I guess someone has to be with Hondo physically or there wouldn’t be any baby hondos

    I kinda get a feeling that the red gundam may have been a trigger to her newtype abilities, but the initial activation may have been triggered by her emotional determination. She seems to want it more while the original pilot failed possibly by not being as strongly motivated. Newtypes are weird

    It’s a 100% mark up on China, but Japan would probably fall under their other foreign tariffs for films. But I really don’t know how all this would work on something that isn’t physical, like a toy from a different country. A lot of the tariff stuff seems very up in the air, more like a concept and I don’t think that the majority in our government (doesn’t matter which side of the political spectrum) understand that anime doesn’t come from America and that the vast majority of animation is done overseas. I also don’t know if they’d consider stuff already released here free of the tariffs or how they’d really enforce something that could be sent over digitally. I also don’t really know what the effect of a movie trade war would be. Some of our films have to be altered to be shown in other world markets, like China and they could just start outright banning our films altogether. Our big budget films might need to make all their money back from U.S. box offices if things get really rough and pretty much every comic book movie would never make their money back. Same could be possible with streaming. Like if Netflix couldn’t get that last season of Stranger Things out to foreign countries.

    I have a feeling that Arii just f***** up the sculpt on the tucked in head. Then again they could’ve tried sneaking something in that they thought no one would notice, but I’m pretty sure they messed up. they may not have had the best of art to go on and just figured it was good enough. Some of the box arts looked a bit funky at the time as well. Arii wasn’t always the best at details or proportions. I’m still surprised at the overall appearance of their fighter kit in comparison to the oddities on the fighter and gerwalk kits

    Don’t ruin the actual holiday, this is one of the only times I am required to have tacos on Monday, as well as Tuesday. Star Wars can wait til next year to have their thing on the fourth I’ll give revenge of the 7th though, because after all these tacos it’s definitely gonna feel like I had the low ground
