    I’m not sure if anyone brought this up yet, but I noticed a few recent kits that came in have a blue bandai logo instead of red. I jus got my r jarja and dijeh and both had the new color logo.

    Without giving away too much, does the movie have an ending that doesn’t need a sequel? I’m just worried that I’ll actually like it, but if it needs a second movie and the cash doesn’t come in then I’ll just be forever frustrated.

    I preordered the gothic knight with the horse last night. It’s a bit pricey, but the sculpt on the Knight is actually a bit different from the original version. This one also has a lance and the horse looks well articulated as well. So the price actually covers 2 action figures in one. when I was very young I had a small plastic figurine of a Knight on a horse carrying a lance, and I always dreamed of an articulated action figure. I guess I’ll finally have that childhood dream.

    All they’ve had are teasers so far for plus. I think the yf19 would be an easier one since they did the vf19 a while back, but I still like the look of the prototype for the 21.

    I just hate having to wait until September to go see Maiden. Those tickets went up almost a year in advance. At least I know i’ll be happy when the day finally arrives.

    I think that was Ebert and the other guy since Siskel was ill and passed away, up until Ebert had a stroke. Even after the show Ebert did reviews for a while and if I remember At the Movies still went on for a couple seasons with new hosts, but didn’t last. The internet was still new and the idea of online reviews was even newer at the time. That show was on on Sundays and as a kid nothing was on on sundays to look forward to before the simpsons era.

    So far the early reviews are not too good. I may just wait and see if it ends up streaming somewhere, unless I hear it’s actually worth seeing.

    I was kind wondering about that show thanks for the info. Crunchyroll has been vague about descriptions lately.

    The ankle covers on hg’s are usually attached to the feet with a couple of exceptions. Also looks like some separate pieces for the outer and inner thrusters on the back pack, so I’m thinking mg to go with the recent 0080 gm’s. I don’t think they’ve done an mg fz type zaku, so maybe there’s hope for a full line of 0080 mg kits including the zeon stuff that’s been skipped and maybe a redo of the kaempfer as well. I’d also like the gelgoog jaeger, the dom and the amphibious suits, but that’s just a dream list for now. I’d also be happy if this just turned out to be an update to the old hg kit or a real grade, but it didn’t look like enough part separation for the rg, I could be wrong though.

    Floyd really does work better for relaxing after a long day rather than moving product. When I worked a lot of wear house jobs I would have fun with industrial like Minstry or KMFDM due to the rhythms and mechanical sounds fitting in with the reality of the job.

    Gasaraki is a bit slow and has a lot of evangalion influences, but I really loved it. It’s a definite classic at this point.

    I’m interested, just hoping it’s not a dud. I also like the look of the ghosts from the older film before the age of cg. I think they blended better and the original still holds up as a great movie.

    Someone busted out some Dio! I’ve loved his stuff for so long. My favorite album he sung on was Rainbow Rising in his Rainbow years in the mid 70’s followed closely by Dehumanizer in his early 90’s Black Sabbath stint.

    I’m hoping for the kehaar 2 version of the hazenthlay since they’re doing other equipment.

    I actually kinda like rising of the shield hero. I think it the mix of absurdity and the darker animation. I’ve watched the first 2 episodes and kept thinking I would hate the show since it’s such a been there done that story, but the way it’s handled is sort of almost reversed from the usual or something. And I like the fact that he has to accept that he reluctantly has to be almost the bad guy to get anything done.

    I hope they keep up with the non gundam kits from wing. I really want a good hg Aries and maybe a new version of the serpent.

    My problem with Greta van fleet is that the singer in a lot of the live performances I’ve seen sounds kinda like Adam Sandler’s crazy voice. I don’t mind their album sounds though and they’re getting a a lot of hype. Between them and the band Ghost, classic rock styles are really making a comeback and I’m liking the trend. If I’m not mistaken both bands are up for multiple Grammies in the rock category this year.

    I may have mentioned samurai showdown before in the sh figurative thread or it could have been this one. I’m just glad I’m not the only one who really wants some great figures from that franchise.

    I actually like that gundam, it goes well with the gm. I don’t watch the build shows, but I sometimes like the redesigns.

    I was watching some of the recent YouTube videos of Bruce Dickinson performing that last one and I’m hoping they do that one when they’re down here in September.
