    I liked the new film. It’s not a must see, but it’s still fun and less stupid than the last one. The last one was entertaining, but the moment you ask yourself why at any point during the movie it just kills it. This one just felt a bit more reasonable and had a side plot that may be a bigger idea for a possible sequel. So far this has been a great year for fun but dumb movies.2018 will be forever remembered for the high number of check your brain at the door films.

    I think that the item I’m hoping for most from the first decade of macross would be millia’s q-rau. I’m pretty sure the rest of the destroids are coming, so that would be the most exciting release for me.

    I’ve been noticing the term mech popping up more often in anime subs and dubs. Back in the day it was mecha as a general term for most shows, but I don’t really if this is just on dubs and subs or if this is the way they are in the original language since I only know English.

    The c pack is pretty good, but I like the look of the thunderbolt also. If you only want 1/144 and are only wanting to do a lazy build without paint or seam line work, then consider the rg green zaku. It’s high detail, but does have some tiny parts and isn’t a toyish buy due to the extremely intricate build. It is a very smart design and even the weapons are slide molded so they don’t need the two half design that requires putty down the middle. It’s also molded completely in color with stickers included for sensors and markings.

    As much as I really want more, I’m kinda okay with not having to spend as much cash. I do still hope the other 2 destroids and zentraidi mecha happen sooner than later. I’m a bit on the fence about the nexx but I’ll probably cave as soon as I see the preorder page.

    I feel like I’m missing out on the most talk this thread has had in a while. I love the original series, but I can see how it would be a bit slow for some. The second arc of the show is my favorite. I also love the main character. Chirico felt more like a guy who had seen too much, but wasn’t too much of a weenie to do something about it.

    It surprised me too. For a wile I had a fantasy about a great line of kits with maybe some weapon sets since kotobukiya loves making extras.

    I had been avoiding information regarding this film until my daughter’s schedule allowed us to finally see the film. We had fun with the movie, but the major flaw was that at no point did I feel like this was Han Solo. The actor wasn’t bad but I just didn’t feel convinced that he was who he was supposed to be. The rest of the film was good enough for a ticket purchase and maybe more enjoyable if you just pretend that it’s about a random dude that awkwardly ended up with the same name. I honestly think the major controversy and reason for poor ticket sales is probably due to the fact that most people don’t need a back story to a perfect character and attempting to do so just sets you up for a fail or let down.

    I wish there were some plastic kits. I think kotobukiya did resin ones long ago, but I would absolutely love them to do modern plastic models.

    I just got the hguc gouf flight type in the mail. It looks like there are only seam lines on the weapons. So I gotta recommend this one to lazy builders.

    I like the Fett and all, but a prequel story will probably be just as disappointing as the Vader prequel. How about a side story that has brand new characters that don’t have anything to do with the main story at all. The Starwars universe is vast enough to give us something new. Or maybe an in between story to fill in the gaps between new and old.

    From what they were saying, this is unrelated to the justice league. Kinda like the upcoming joker film.

    If we’re going by the line art for CCA, the the mg jegan is the worst offender. The Jagd Doga isn’t the line art either but doesn’t look too bad to me. I’d like to see more poses and then I feel like I could make a better decision.

    This is one of my favorite recent anime series. It’s kinda predictable, but the look and characters are top notch. I really love this one and it’s one of the only sports anime I can watch.

    Still liking megalobox and the new fmp series. Some good shows to keep me entertained while waiting for attack on titan to start up again in July.
