I was kinda curious because most of the wave Ma.K. Kits have exposed polycaps for the joints and tubes and just about everything rubs off them. It would be great to have something that actually worked in them that wasn’t too difficult to find.

Could do the old ghetto diorama with a stolen wheel

Yeah, I was able to put in for 3, but I’ll probably need 3 more at release

Macross DYRL in 4K UHD with English Subtitles

Yeah, and I’m not sure why that would be there either. It’s not like a series opening. -
I think it’s just using the smaller ones like the 21 has

I don’t know about 5, but 4 might be opening and ending without credits to get in the way -
Great show and awesome character. That paint is turning out well. How does it hold up on the vinyl parts and do you think those paints would work on other soft plastics like polycaps?

got three of each confirmed so far. I think the decals will probably need another 3. But every Bandai preorder up tonight is allowing 3 per customer super surprised they’re all standard releases

Red blue and decals are up for preorder 3 per customer of each at hlj right now

Never cared for oasis. They reminded me of a weird sleepier version of the Beatles. Maybe their radio songs weren’t their best or something.

Yep, end of February unless it gets a date change. At least they only have to make the head and Roy. Everything else is already done

Yeah, but it sure sounds like drunken Australians -
As posted in the other thread, it’s up for preorder. And includes decals for Roy or Hikaru. Although I’d personally wait until a super set comes out before I do one for Hikaru

Just preordered it.

Chalk works just like pastels basically. They’re pretty much the same stuff, just one is packaged for artists and the other is packaged for kids stuff. The chalk is sometimes just a bit more dense. They can both be broken up into powders or if the surface is dull, then you can draw straight onto it. It would need to be topcoated to keep from rubbing off.

Other toy lines like Macross or Mospeada?

I’d watch the drunken Australian dub for laughs every now and then just for fun. -
I just think it’s wild since the guy only signed up for a one month trial subscription back in 2019. Nobody reads those contracts and I don’t think it’s something that should ever be included in one ever.

Oddly, all the good deadly stuff is far more available over there. Here in the U.S. even Mr color paints are more of a very recent addition to basic hobby shops and even then, they’re tough to find. Other items like Tamiya polyester putty are banned. Bandai even suggests in their paint guides Mr color paints. For many years of my time working on hobbies, many of those items were unavailable. We basically only had the option between enamel or acrylic paints in all hobby shops. I don’t think that really changed until 2010 or 2015. But even now it’s a very limited thing to find lacquer paints in the U.S.

The fact that they even tried to go down that route is truly troubling. Makes you wonder what other creepy things are in these subscription agreements

Finally had some time to get out to the movies. I’m not big on the whole multiverse thing, so it was fun to see that this not only was a multiverse movie but also a parody of the failure of the multiverse and is the only successful multiverse movie I’ve seen in a long time. It somehow managed to give a big middle finger to Disney as well. It was really tough trying to avoid the spoilers for this movie for the last few weeks, but somehow I managed to keep the biggest surprises a surprise for myself and there were a lot of them. There’s so many cameos that I’m probably gonna have to watch it a few times when it starts streaming to see them all

D land is honestly horrible in the summer. It’s hot and extremely aggravating. Fall is usually better, but I’d say just to go to magic mountain instead. The rides are way more fun. Also if you have a D+ subscription, make sure not to get injured or sick at D land parks or affiliated restaurants, seems there’s a clause even in one month subscriptions that limit your legal actions against them in case something goes wrong
