  1. Yeah, the last 5 minutes will be very interesting. However I doubt it'll change much from the manga as the whole anime series followed it closely.
  2. Just a personal observation. I've had Crunchyroll for close to a year and only watched two series in that time. Chainsaw Man and Attack on Titan (for the third time). So yeah, won't renew my annual subscription by end of year.
  3. LOL, IKR! But yes, its the last episode. Then no more AoT till they make the Hollywood live action film, whenever that is.
  4. Re-watching The Mandalorian series with my almost 6 year old son. He has no interest in any of the STAR WARS films and is only watching this series because of "Baby Yoda." That's all I have to say, lol.
  5. It's a necro thread but I'll play along. I agree newer anime isn't exciting like it was. I miss mecha anime of the 1980s and 1990s as it seems its only GUNDAM or Gundam these days.
  6. Looks better than a lot of the recent comedy spy movies. Seriously, its a genre that needs to take a long break.
  7. Not as surprising after reading in this forum what some folk paid for Robotech/Macross/Mospeada collectible toys. To each their own I guess. That being said I sold my horde of anime & sci-fi items that I collected since the 1980s back in 2020 without earning much money just so I can reclaim space in my house which is worth it and I don't miss my collection at all.
  8. Saw it when it first came out with a group of friends from my Coast Guard unit and left early in the film when we realized it was a kids film with goofy songs and not BEETLEJUICE.
  9. He either got regurgitated or it could be flash backs, I'm thinking the latter 🤮
  10. I do predict that the Filoni movie if made well and has most of the main characters of his streaming series (namlely Dinn, Grogu, Ahsoka, and Boba Fett) that it will be the most successful STAR WARS movie of all time. I base my prediction on my young children that don't know much about STAR WARS but LOOOOOVE "Baby Yoda". Another prediction is that Disney will milk this into multiple films.
  11. Interesting ending, looking forward to more. I'd place the AHSOKA series slightly behind season 2 of The Mandalorian but ANDOR is still tops, by several miles. On a side note I was hoping to see more Wes Chatham, seems like a real waste and I wonder if he feels the same?
  12. I will say the HG dub of Megazone 23 pt 2 is one of the best dubs in anime history. The other Japanese/English dubs for Megazone 23 pt 2 are awful, especially for BD. WTF, why did they make him sound like that??
  13. I could never finish part 3, it was so bad imho. That being said... I don't know if this has been shared yet. http://aic-r.com/1636 New Mega Zone 23 “G-PROJECT” [1] Announcement of the start of the New Mega Zone 23 reboot project “G-PROJECT” Announcement of the start of the new Mega Zone 23 reboot project “G-PROJECT” Created in 1985, "Mega Zone 23" still attracts many fans and sells many goods. Our company will launch a new project again to reboot that work. Our company was established as a company that inherited the copyrights including Megazone 23 from the former Anime International Company, Inc. (AIC) through a business split. Since our company's establishment, many people, including staff members who like Megazone 23, staff members who were influenced by it, and staff members who participated at the time, have tried through trial and error to revive this project, but the road has been slow . It's been a tough journey, and so far we haven't had any great results. However, under a new system with a new president, various preparations have finally been completed, and we will now restart the Megazone 23 Reboot Project. This is all thanks to everyone's support and cooperation. We are still in the preparation stages, but we hope to gradually release information on our progress on our website, YouTube, SNS, etc. We appreciate your continued support.
  14. Just finished Tulsa King on Paramount+. It's one of Taylor Sheridan's lighter works but still enjoyable plus it seems Sylvester Stallone had fun with his new character too. Looking forward to the next season.
  15. RIP. IIRC Michael Gambon was suffering from dementia too. Real shame.
