  1. That is why we're cutting back on streaming, it's ridiculous that prices increased so much in the past year. On a side note you may be able to save $$ through cashback and/or offers on your credit card. For example I get 6% cashback for streaming plus $25 redeemed for spending over $99 on MAX via a annual subscription renewal on my AMEX Blue Cash card.
  2. Liked the first season of REACHER and this one looks to amp it up a lot in it's second season.
  3. Watched the final episode. It followed the manga and was well made as always. Don't know what more to expect from such a wildly thrilling epic series tbh.
  4. Eh... who knows. For the past 20 years it seems like every Godzilla film out of Japan is a stand alone film. Japan isn't as reboot intensive as Hollywood is.
  5. Looks good but I have yet to see any of these films in the theater. I did however pay to see Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes that I thought was trash and his worst film to date.
  6. There was a also a lot of that in season 3 of Mandalorian too. That butch former Imperial officer and especially with Bo-Katan Kryze which gives me hope that we'll see Katee Sackhoff in Filoni's STAR WARS movie 😍
  7. Yeah, the last 5 minutes will be very interesting. However I doubt it'll change much from the manga as the whole anime series followed it closely.
  8. Just a personal observation. I've had Crunchyroll for close to a year and only watched two series in that time. Chainsaw Man and Attack on Titan (for the third time). So yeah, won't renew my annual subscription by end of year.
  9. LOL, IKR! But yes, its the last episode. Then no more AoT till they make the Hollywood live action film, whenever that is.
  10. Re-watching The Mandalorian series with my almost 6 year old son. He has no interest in any of the STAR WARS films and is only watching this series because of "Baby Yoda." That's all I have to say, lol.
  11. It's a necro thread but I'll play along. I agree newer anime isn't exciting like it was. I miss mecha anime of the 1980s and 1990s as it seems its only GUNDAM or Gundam these days.
  12. Looks better than a lot of the recent comedy spy movies. Seriously, its a genre that needs to take a long break.
  13. Not as surprising after reading in this forum what some folk paid for Robotech/Macross/Mospeada collectible toys. To each their own I guess. That being said I sold my horde of anime & sci-fi items that I collected since the 1980s back in 2020 without earning much money just so I can reclaim space in my house which is worth it and I don't miss my collection at all.
  14. Saw it when it first came out with a group of friends from my Coast Guard unit and left early in the film when we realized it was a kids film with goofy songs and not BEETLEJUICE.
