    Half-way through this series. It's a cute pirate adventure in the Star Wars galaxy and imho SM-33 is the best new Star Wars character in a long time. Give whoever created SM-33 a promotion and a raise! It's good that Disney took this kind of risk too, it needs more outside the box thinking for Star Wars. That being said my young children still have no interest in Star Wars, lol.

    We have a Microcenter about 45 minutes from where I live and hope they have good deals. I'd prefer not to order parts from different stores due to delivery time and possible return issues. I'll definitely buy my 4K monitor at Microcenter though. Makes returning a monitor with dead pixels much easier which happened to me several years ago with a Acer Predator monitor.

    Doing research into pre-built or custom PCs and it's more pricey and less custom than I'm used to when it comes to building my own PCs in the past, ugh. So now I'm looking at building a PC sometime around Memorial Day weekend hoping there will be good PC parts deals by then. I mentioned lack of time and space before so I'm thinking I'll take a week off from work and build the PC... at my office, lol. Most of my colleagues work from home (myself included) and hardly anybody goes into the office so that gives me plenty of space and peace to build a PC. Funny enough I built my last PC in my office in 2018, upgrade in 2019, when we all used to go in regularly and no one mind back then too. One thing I plan to skip on this time around is RBG crap. It's the most useless thing ever when it comes to PC gaming.

    McCann has excellent nerd cred and presence on the small screen so it'll be interesting to see him in this new role. On a side note I bet a dollar McCann will be cast as Hagrid in the Harry Potter series for Max.

    That trailer was straight out of the early aughts and not in a good nostalgic way. Also, bizarre that Paul W.S. Anderson is incapable of improving his talent from Event Horizon.

    None yet. I want to wait for benchmarks but also for deals. May wait till Memorial Day for deals. I also need a new desk that fits my needs (gaming & work) and space too. Thankfully I'm in no hurry.

    I am looking at buying a new gaming PC with possibly a RTX 5080 this year to replace my 5 year old gaming PC with RTX2060. However I'm also dreading it, lol. Because of price of new PC with new 4K monitor and I'll also be replacing my old messy desk too. Plus more work in handing down my old gaming PC to my daughter and have to "clean" it up physically and digitally, lol. I won't build a new PC this time because of lack of time time and build space. It can take me days to get a gaming PC just right and can be stressful for me making sure everything works right and tweaking it too.

    Oh man, that sucks. Yeah, I'd rather get a Porsche Macan EV for that money but pre-owned EV looks like the way to go for right now.

    More details at their site. It's tech heavy but it doesn't have anything that wows me in comparison to the competition. I'm all for EVs but the hype train ended 2 years ago and I think many of the new expensive EVs are doomed just like the Fisker Ocean but probably not as spectacularly.     Very interested in the nVidia RTX 50xx GPUs to finally replace my 5 year old gaming PC with RTX2060.     $23 is a ridiculous price for Netflix 4K imho. I think streaming (satellite radio included) is hoping subscribers won't care or notice in their monthly billing or... are too lazy to put in the effort to pause/cancel a subscription. I cancelled my SiriusXM satellite radio subscription last year. Even though it was about $12/month it was still a waste of money as I work from home and never listened to it at home too. It's much how I felt about the excess streaming (Prime, Apple+, Netlfix and Crunchyroll) services I had till I picked what gave me the best value which was P+ and the MAX/Hulu/D+ bundle and cancelled the rest. We'll periodically sign up for certain streaming services to binge a series we really enjoy but will it be short for a month or two. New seasons of Squid Game or Stranger Things on Netflix is an example.

    Finished WHAT IF... and each season always gets better towards the end. Conclusion was good, probably one of the better MCU series on D+ lately.

    You can find streaming deals here and there. For example I have the MAX/Hulu/D+ bundle for $30/month however I read it doesn't support 4K. I also have a yearly subscription with Paramount+ for $60 year, I was able to get that price when I was in the midst of cancelling the service over a month ago. You may be able to find streaming promotions or cash back deals with your credit card too. I earn 6% cash back with my American Express Blue Cash Preferred for streaming services. AE also had a promotion for P+ (ad free) where I earned $13 cash back last month so in total it ended up coming to $44/year which is an amazing deal!! I currently don't have the other services as we don't watch that much TV because of time.

    Watching LANDMAN on Paramount+, really good Taylor Sheridan modern western series that keeps us hooked. Billy Bob Thornton and Ali Larter are great, especially Ali who has aged amazingly. Highly recommended.

    Very much so. NOSFERATU is the rare anti-Hollywood vampire film meaning it won't make vampires mainstream again which is a good thing. That being said Lily Rose Depp and Nicholas Hoult both deserve Oscar best acting nominations. Eggers for best director and for best make-up nominations too.

    Just returned home from seeing NOSFERATU with my wife. Good movie just like Egger's previous films. Though its not for an audience that is expecting typical vampire films of the past. I had friends that didn't like it for that reason. Oh well.

    We have Samsung Android Galaxy Tab A7 tablets for our children. Its good enough for them to watch Youtube, play games on and such. Much more affordable ($100) than iPads but can't compare tech wise since we're an Android house. Recommend checking out local tech hardware stores to compare.

    Dafne Keen is a much better actress than Amandla Stenberg who was so wooden and unlikable in both her characters. How come they didn't give Dafne the starring role?? So many mistakes in this series but I place most of the blame on Kathleen Kennedy giving the wrong show runner the job. To this day. How does KK still have a job at Disney??!!??

    Ehhh, HBO also gave a second season to Raised by Wolves before cancelling it. I'm one of the few that did enjoy that series tho. Oh, and it also starred Travis Fimmel too!!

    It'll be interesting to hear John Murphy's take on the new Superman soundtrack. Will he create a new theme or "borrow" John William's?

    I do dislike Clark Kent's curly mushroom hair style. Don't know why young men think its cool because like most fashionable hair styles it won't age well.
