This isn't an embargo issue because it's an exclusive. The shops are selling the service of getting the item for you from the TWE site, not selling it to you directly.
-
I feel like there are a few stores that haven't opened yet.
-
Gotta come back in 24 hours... any listings before that are jumping the gun.
-
No, you need a Japanese credit card also.
-
Yeah, they probably just do six orders but don't have a way of telling people 'no' up front so they have to cancel the next day.
-
I thought from Japan didn't do p Bandai... Didn't they cancel their Kakizaki orders?

I think that's a bit of an over-reaction... we have no idea how that joint was broken. It could have fallen while being handled in battroid mode. That said, it seems like a prime candidate for a joint people will break assuming it can go out further than it should.
-
Do you think it was the weight of the leg on that one joint, since it was off the ground, that broke it? Maybe a good cautionary tale for only displaying this one in fighter? Also looks like it would be easy to break it by over extending the range in battroid.

This was a very common break (BP8 IIRC). There were resin replacement parts eons ago but I can't recall the last time I saw one floating around and I don't think I ever saw black ones. 3D printing sounds promising but I can't recall seeing anyone tackle it. Sorry I don't have happier tidings.. that's a tough one to fix.

No HMR Monster? Bandai's DX Konig was like 1/120ish. Man, you must have spent some time transforming all those Konigs!

For the manipulators, I'd be okay with them being not perfect transformation parts... maybe even magnetic attachment.
-
I hope Bandai makes a note of that for their 1/35 toy.

Gotta ship by boat if you do that! The other thing is that there are TWE limits power customer so your friend might have to enlist help out get creative.

I didn't try to get a PS5 so I can't compare but it's hard to imagine it was worse... Sites crashing, cart jackings, sold out in seconds... My guess is it's all very similar.

Wow... That's a long wait!

Sneaky... Glad you're finding the videos entertaining and informative! I think my wife would be happy to know her involvement doesn't just irritate folks but Youtube has gotten more strict when it comes to joking about adult content so I don't know how much I can get her involved going forward. I do have some ideas though...

I thought they were always doing a statue and kitzconcept was doing the action figure. Having handled the Kid's Logic Hikaru action figure... I think it's smart if then to go with a statue.

Macross Δ (Delta) - Mission 26 -Finale - READ 1st POST
jenius replied to azrael's topic in Movies and TV Series
I just wrapped up watching mecha action clips of Zero and it bums me out. I'm not a huge fan of Zero but the mecha action was sooooo good. There's tension, there's the feeling of physics and high stakes. Then you watch Delta and woof... what a tremendous step backwards. Now you could say "look, the tech is way better by then, so they don't have to worry about physics anymore" but there should still be some tension... and it seems like showing the same difficulties with physics with the implication that they're doing things 10x faster and harder than they were in the zero timeframe would be a better way of handling that. Then you throw flying, singing, non-combatants into the fray and it all just feels kinda... silly... not intense at all. Like, instead of sitting on the edge of your seat going "whoa" you're leaning back in your chair sucking soda through a straw and maybe bobbing your head to the music. Macross7 again. I guess that's why I liked Frontier so much, it felt like a nice balance of "whoa" and "bob your head to the music" while Delta leaned a little too hard into the "bob your head to the music." Curious to see where Macross can go in the future... I feel like they've pretty much done everything they can with music and musicians. I know it exists more as a music commercial than anything else at this point so it's just hard to imagine how many meals they can make from the same three ingredients. -
I'm going to pull the curtain way back on this one: That shirt is probably like 5 years old and has slipped into a great many of my videos (again, it's my favorite). I also have a couple blue pajama shirts you'll see. Most videos (including that last one) probably have both blue and green in them since it takes me several nights of filming to make one video. I usually work on the site after everyone has gone to bed... my kids staying up later and later has meant less and less time to work on it. I get like an hour or so in the evenings of anymoon time and it's usually the last thing I do before calling it a night... that and about 20 minutes of toy shopping Noted though, the shirt is probably due to retire soon so when I go shopping for a replacement I'll try to stick to more neutral colors! Ooh also, I liked this intro shot for the article:

That's my favorite pajama shirt! It's so soft.... Maybe I can just pull the sleeves up....

I did a review. Honestly, for MWers, it's just me talking about what you already know, especially after this many releases:
-
Yeah, I think Hikaru 1A is imminent with a TWE Max 1S... Two 1As in a row is too boring and a Focker DYRL would be to soon after his TV release. Hikaru might be a full set pack... That would explain the lack of a circle for him with the SSP... but it seems more likely they'll just throw his circles in with the instruction booklet. Next TV round will be Hikaru 1J reissue, TWE Kakizaki, and GBP.
