    I hope the orange missile launcher covers are painted this time around. The plastic they used for Arad‘s never set right with me.

    @anubis20 Impressive work as always! Personally, I don’t like the tone of yellow used for the inside of the GN Bazooka. I think I would like it better in gold. It is just too warm of a color I think. I makes A Gundam that sports mostly muted colors too vibrant. Maybe it is the post processing of the pictures. Or maybe I’m just used too much to the Metal Build Dynames Repair 3 who has those parts in gold. The comment isn’t intended to detract from your craftsmanship I’m just stating my preferences.

    I watched the first episode of Overlord 4. Not much happened besides setup for the season.

    It looks good. But I reserve final judgement until I have him in hand. MP-49 looked good in pictures too and MP-44 had me excited but the toy was a disappointment once I took him out of the box; yuck.

    The big draw for me would be that they did away with the stupid missile launching gimmicks. So if they do a blue Super Starscream version I might bite.

    As an avid collector black and teal robots I’m excited even if the mold has flaws. I hope Takara doesn’t skimp on the paint as they did with MP-49 Black Convoy.

    Armada Starscream looks like the T30 toy to me. I compared them side by side and the are slightly different. I guess the show model doesn’t allow for different engineering and that’s why they look so similar.

    Disappointing that they don’t come in player 2 colors since 2022 is the 30th anniversary of SF2 Turbo which introduced the second color for all the characters if I remember correctly.

    Skyfire looks good but I’m content with Phoenix. I might buy one if they do a repaint. Maybe with a toy deco. I don’t know if this will happen since I‘m still wait for Detritus from Hound.

    That must have been one of the worst telegraphed deaths in all of anime.

    I started to watch the first 6 episodes of Shield Hero season 2 and they are meh. To me the best part of the show was always when Naofumi and his party traveled the world with their cart and the interpersonal relationships. The fight scenes were passable at best distracting from the meaty parts of the story. Now from the beginning of season 2 I don’t get that at all. They are fighting a lot and it is boring. Because they are fighting so much there is no time to build a relationship with the villain or with Ost so I’m rather uninvested in the show at the moment. [edit:] It seems like the show is getting back on track with episode 7.

    Saw the first episode. It is a faithful recreation of the manga (from what I remember). However I think the results of the spells in the manga were much more violent. I’ve read the first volume of the manga in 2000 so I might misremembering things.

    My biggest gripe is that Bandai didn’t make the Super Parts for Chuck‘s VF-31E.

    Wotafas review of MPG Shouki: After seeing this review I not only have major concerns for the longevity of that toy (hinges on clear pieces, painted surfaces on the bottom of the feet) but also about stability in combined mode. The upper torso seems super unstable to me. With lots of pieces not tabbing together securely.

    I still have a lot of Playmobil toys from my childhood. I adore the medieval knights sets: To this day I prefer Lego over Playmobil but they where still fun toys.

    Oh, the armor parts sold out already on AE. I was too occupied with work to notice. Oh well, I will try to get one on release day. It is already a super expensive week. Had to pay for MP Shouki, SV-51 Nora, MB Eva-00 and K3 Rodimus.

    It is worth a try. Some companies have excellent after sales support. Even if this is not the case your retailer might have a junker he scalped for other parts. I don’t know how the after sales support for MS is though. I know how you feel. I have two breaks I inflicted on my toys that are super upsetting: one of the canards of my VF-19Advanced and the hip swing bar on my VF-25F Renewal. Just thinking about them makes me angry If anyone has junkers of both toys hit me up!
