  1. Some more shots from that concept footage: New ROBOCOP Licensing Sizzle Reel Featuring Concept Art The concept looks a lot better than what they're filming right now....
  2. Yes. SyFy may consider more online series down the road, but for now this is all they have planned. If it does really really really well, they may even promote it up to TV-status instead of web-series.
  3. Perhaps this might explain some things about the production values to this show: ‘Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome’: Online, on purpose (published Nov. 9, 2012)
  4. Hmmmm...So we're getting 2 episodes this week, too. Maybe it's to pre-make-up for the Thanksgiving weekend next week? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXCnuArj4b8 edit: Guess not. Episode 5 and 6 will still air on Nov. 23rd.
  5. Trailer news: Exclusive: First Star Trek Into Darkness Trailer Also Premiering Dec. 14th To make it clear, regular screening of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey = regular trailer IMAX screening of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey = 9-minute preview
  6. Unlike this production, they couldn't spend all their money in 1 2-hour show.
  7. You're asking too much from a pilot episode/movie. And unless SyFy changes it's mind and decides they want more of this show that they filmed last year, I doubt we'll get any of that. Keep in mind they filmed this back in early-mid 2011.
  8. Such is the way with technology. Every year there's something new which does the old thing better/cheaper/smaller/all the above.
  9. Ideally, they're suppose to be the same just as the Cylon Raiders we see should be the same as the ones from BSG: Razor, but I'm sure there are some slight differences. Since the production values seemed to be higher than what they were back in the re-imaged series, I'm sure they took this opportunity to really "redesign"/cleanup the stuff they used previously.
  10. SyFy will air the 2-hour pilot in early 2013. The unrated Blu-ray/DVD currently has a street date of Feb. 19, 2013. Whether you want to watch it now or wait till it comes out early next year is up to you.
  11. I'm sure Spielberg has seen lots of things from ol' buddy George. But it doesn't mean he's going to get involved in any way.
  12. Thoughts: Spoiler'd for those who are avoiding watching it till the SyFy showing or home video release next year...
  13. So nice to see the ol' girl in her prime, with the armor plating and all. Now, will they show any other ships besides the Battlestars? I hope so. Ep. 2 for your viewing pleasure
  14. Regarding Matthew Vaughn's departure from X-Men: DoFP Mark Millar Reveals Why Matthew Vaughn Chose THE SECRET SERVICE Over X-MEN: DOFP So Vaughn should probably be put at the end of the list for any new Star Wars as he's probably gonna be tied up elsewhere.
  15. I won't be worried about any of the existing contracts between LucasFilm/Arts and other companies (Dark Horse Comics, LEGO, etc). Disney will, most likely, honor those contracts until those rights expire. Considering they just spent $4 billion buying Lucas' company, they probably don't want to spend more to just pull out of the existing contracts. What will happen after those rights expire among the different companies is anybody's guess. Disney may pull out and go on their own or they may continue to extend those rights.
  16. Unless it comes to PC, then no, I won't be playing (Yeah, I stopped holding my breath when Halo: CE for PC had a delayed release so don't mind me). But, I was watching the walkthrough on Youtube during lunch. It does seem very action packed with lots of things to shoot.
  17. Yes and no. Yes in the conceptual idea of 3 kingdoms with sword-wielding mechs (that some could fly), but no in that they went with magic girls and Arthurian legend, Greek/Arabian/who-knows-what-else mythology and that whole playground.
  18. Reposting in it's own thread: More views, more retweets/likes/shares and maybe...just maybe, someone at Universal will give a sh*t.
  19. He is diabetic, but we've known that for a while. See what anonymous fanboy-rage does to people. Lucas had probably decided long ago (in a galaxy far, far away) that he would enter some state of retirement by this year.
