    And yet, surprisingly, this sexy beast showed up on my doorstep today... 😲 I had to check my pre-order history. When did I order this? Last September...? Actually, it was September of 2021...! Well worth the 22-month wait, if you ask me. 😁

    Ironically enough, the same is true of The Force Awakens, which (like Dial of Destiny) wasn't written or directed by George Lucas. It didn't have any real dialog or performance issues, so it was much easier for audiences to get past whatever issues they may have had with a broken, depressed Han Solo, whose marriage to Leia had fallen apart after the loss of their son. Now that Dial of Destiny presents a broken, depressed Indiana Jones, whose marriage to Marion had fallen apart after the loss of their son, audiences are probably getting tired of seeing Harrison Ford grapple with the same story issues. 🙄

    Wow. After years of Kimetsu no Yaiba merchandise flooding Japan, at a wide variety of scales, styles, and price points, these McFarlane figures are easily the worst I've seen. The poses, the proportions, and the articulation is shockingly poor. Heck, their AKIRA line produced better anime figures two decades ago. 🤨

    Bandai teases a lot of prototypes that never go into production, but they never solicit for pre-orders until they can reliably estimate when a product will ship. I mean, I'm highly critical of Bandai myself, but I've never paid up front for an SHF or HMR pre-order that wasn't fulfilled within six months. It will have taken at least THIRTY-SEVEN months before KitzConcept delivers the Dana I paid for back in July of 2020, when pre-orders were first solicited (which, incidentally, was already several months into the pandemic). And even before COVID, they were averaging ten months between each 1:12 action figure release. I can only assume their 1:72 Valkyries sell better, so those releases are given priority....?

    That had been my idea as well... but I figured I'd have to mold them in clear resin myself. 🤔 Yeah, absolutely. They announced their 1:12 Max back in 2020, and they hope to have him available later this year... If they're planning a Miriya figure as well, perhaps we'll be able to buy her in... 2027? 🙄

    I suppose my Dana pre-order must've gone through before they switched over to their new site... Nonetheless, KitzConcept has confirmed via e-mail that my order is still valid (despite not appearing in my Order History). 🔒

    So, here's a concern that may affect many of you: I checked my pre-orders on KitzConcept's website, and... there's no record of any. 😶 In fact, the order history only goes back three years, so while there's a record for Lisa, Roy and "Cheongsam" Minmei, there's no record of my order for Rick, or the first Minmei figure. More disturbingly, however, there's no record of the two Dana figures I ordered when listings first went up, THREE YEARS AGO. 😳 As most of you are well aware, KitzConcept charges up-front for pre-orders, which means I've long since paid for two figures... yet there's no indication now that those figures were ever ordered, much less paid for. 🤨 Check your pre-orders, people. You may be in the same boat. 😟

    That packaging is sublime. 😍 If I didn't absolutely loathe that film (and everything TMNT from the '90s), I'd be all over that. 😅

    I was a huge sci-fi geek back in the early '90s, and eagerly consumed everything I could get access to, SeaQuest DSV included. I remember Deep Space 9, Babylon 5, The X-Files, EXO Squad, RoboCop: The Series, even Wild Palms... but all I remember of SeaQuest is the action figures. 😅 Apparently they messed up the show so badly several cast members (including star Roy Scheider) asked to be released from their contracts. 🙄 Funny you should mention those two in particular, since few shows got messed up as badly as their second seasons did... 🤕

    Nonetheless, it was a genuine attempt to provide useful information and support official channels of distribution, and @sh9000 is trying to help. You have the advantage of being in the States, at least, where it's a lot easier to network with likeminded fans and collectors; those of us outside of North America are rather more isolated, as we're often ignored by US companies, and it's much more difficult to establish such networks locally. All the more reason we should continue to cooperate, treat each other with respect, and help each other out however we can.

    It'll match Hasbro's 2012 "Movie Heroes" Naboo Fighter, which (in typically undersized Hasbro fashion) is 1:24 scale...

    CGI robots that can believably co-exist with live-action actors, sure... MUCH too expensive. However, if Transformers: Prime is any indication, a fully-CGI film with big-name actors doing voices could be made for a fraction of the cost of a live-action film... ...and, if Transformers: Prime is any indication, it would likely be a helluva lot better than anything from the Bayverse. 🙄 Heck, just imagine if Netflix had used the budget of their War For Cybertron trilogy to make a feature-film instead; they could've afforded real writers, professional voice actors, and more than just a small handful of character models. For a ten million-dollar investment, they could've make fifty million off the Transformers name alone... and sold a whole lot more toys than a streaming series could ever hope to do (regardless of the quality of the film).

    In nearly four decades of Transformers collecting, I've never even imagined such a thing... and yet it's not a fan custom, nor even a third-party, but an official release that's the first to do it. 😲
