I guess I forgot that little bit in the interrogation room from MoS, I haven't seen that movie in a while and even then I think I only watched it twice. Areaseven's nick pick stands though, how could Lex know or possibly test for the whole lead thing? Zod was dead, no way to ask a corpse, "Can you see through this?" I think I scoffed and nearly choked twice as hard after watching the whole "Martha" revelation in the extended cut, it was just so bad. Why did Superman even say Martha and not just Mom? Because the plot demanded it, nothing more, and still stupid. What if his Mom's name was, oh, say, Debbie? Would Batman have said, "frakk you, and frakk Debbie!" Then stabbed and killed Superman? Crazy bad, but at least the big open set visit for Justice League alleviated some concerns. I'm still not liking The Flash's facial hair, but he sounds to be quite Barry Allen, he's no Grant Gustin though...

How did Lex know Superman even had x-ray vision? He never announced all of his powers to anyone, and I doubt it's something the corpse of Zod could've told him. Bad movie is bad.

Spider-Man: Homecoming, in theaters July 7, 2017
Tking22 replied to areaseven's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Definitely looks like Spider-Man to me, or at least another visual take on him to add to the literal hundreds of other takes we've had on his look, still looks pretty spot on to his look in Civil War. Pretty obvious this suit is going to see a TON of work done in post-production.- 266 replies

Yeah I already watched the R rated extended cut Sunday, through illicit means... It was indeed better, the entire first half of the film is much more fleshed out, and makes much more sense. All of the random scenes tossed together don't seem so random now, there's more lead up for Clark looking into the Bat, more insight into Lois' search for the bullet from Africa, and overall much more connective tissue for the first half of the film. That said, I still think the last act and the big fight were a mess, this extended cut does nothing to make Lex's plan anymore idiotic, and I still haven't figured out how Lex found out both Superman and Batman's identities, I've seen the movie four times now including the extended, and I am still apparently missing how he figured it out. There's also way more random violence, especially in the Africa scene in the beginning, I think Snyder did something really awful to poor Jimmy's corpse. Plus, just what was his big plan with Doomsday? And why did a random Kryptonian ship have the ability to turn a Kryptonian corpse and a bit of human blood into Doomsday? The computer said nobody should ever, or could ever create an abomination again, was there another way to make Doomsdays without human blood being tossed into the mix? It implied Kryptonians have done it before, but it appeared the thing was only created due to the human blood being added in, I doubt Krytponians had access to any of that. And once again, what was Lex's plan with Doomsday? Had Batman not killed Superman, exactly like he didn't, Doomsday would've killed Lex as soon as it was free, then destroyed the world. So yeah, the extended cut helped quite a bit, but there's still a lot to hate and be angry at in my opinion. The Bat fight scene at the end had a few added bits, but from remembering the initial trailers, I still feel there's one little bit missing from that fight, oh well, it's still the best Bat fight scene we've ever gotten on film.

I had nothing but bad experiences with the Mafex figures I owned, the sculpts were okay, but the overall QC and build quality was awful. My Dark Knight Joker and Batman were both floppy messes, then against my better judgement I got a cheap Vader off Mandrake and his little peg in his helmet was broken off in the head itself out of the box, took over an hour to fish out and I scarred and messed it up pretty bad, also it's floppy. I'm getting BvS Superman and Batman, hoping they actually, finally stepped their game up, but not expecting much though. If these things are duds I'm tapping out of Mafex, which is a shame because WW and armored Batman look pretty good, along with the recently announced Deadshot.

I'm surprised I haven't seen this posted yet. That's definitely a neat bit of engineering they pulled off with the ladder, but these new shots specifically make this official version look super low detail, and far too plain, especially the legs. I'm still sticking with MMC Backdraft, he looks incredible. but if TT can have their Grapple pull off this same hide the crane thing as Inferno, I'll definitely be getting him. And I've said it before, but I'll say it again, TFW2005 is the WORST. I don't normally quote single member's posts because they're not indicative of anything, and mostly anecdotal, but I saw this and cringed real, real hard. "First place for worst and wrongest use of the term "care" ever! greetings. And enjoy your made with care "ladder on my back" guy and its million unnecessary grooves and lines." This tool literally just said, "Hur dur, have fun with your far more detailed figure!" Like, okay, I totally will. This was a reply to another member that said he doesn't like the hard-core toon accurate look of TT, and he preferred MMC Backdraft still. I mean whatever floats your boat, but what idiot attempts to go for snark by mocking someone for liking a more detailed figure?- 17320 replies

Blizzard's Warcraft from Legendary Pictures
Tking22 replied to EXO's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Oh I get it, I don't always mean to come off with the 0-60 vibe, I just do. I just don't think anyone minds people disliking or being disappointed in the film. It's pretty obvious Warcraft is no masterpiece, it will have it's fans, and it will have those that wanted and expected more. I just don't think any of it really needs to be stated, not to say nobody should voice their opinion of course, but that the fans will always be divided, and it shouldn't be a surprise that some people like it and many won't. And as Duke said, MW in general seems to flow in a particular way, some properties and films will always be more popular and given a slight leniency in content or appeal then others, I just don't think it should surprise anyone that things they consider to be crap and a wasted opportunity are perfectly fine, and what was expected to some. As you said, it's not great, but also not that bad, I think Warcraft will sit that way with most, but I can understand many people loving it for what it is was and hating it for what it wasn't or once again, could have been. This is a particularly crazy one, it was Duncan frakking Jones, I expected more, but not being a fan of Warcraft lore I felt it was fine. -

Lol, so much for not taking my comment too seriously. Isn't this the Warcraft film thread? I made my comment mostly in jest, mostly. I didn't expect to get multiple common sense responses on the basic nature of people liking things others don't, good god MW. And nobody said anything about not calling out mediocrity, there hasn't been any kind of influx of people complaining about stuff looking like crap, and I don't think anyone truly cares about anyone else opinion either way. And I stand by what I said, according to MW, 90% of everything is crap, unless it's XYZ. Come at me. I don't have a problem with it, nor do I care about what anyone else thinks, it's just how I feel and it's what I've observed since my time on this forum. Nobody should be bothered by others liking, or not liking what they like, like I said, I don't think anyone truly cares either way. -
Yeah that was announced a while back, they're putting out some older armors in order to further flesh out everyone's collections before they fully announce and reveal the hall of armor setup. I don't think we have a Mafex thread, I found most of their figures to be terrible anyway, but these look intriguing.

I'd guess the pre-orders for Max start July 1st, same day as Figuarts AOTC Obi-Wan. Works for me, once again I'll grab both in the same order, I always seem to get some nice Figuarts stuff in the same order as my Hi-Metals, I like the way it works out.

Lol I mostly made my comment in jest, there's actually like 3 or 4 other things most people are apparently allowed to like... I mostly made that comment because I thought TFA was mediocre and overall a disappointment, a sentiment shared by few else, and many let that be known. -

Everyone on MW hates everything unless it's Star Wars, Walking Dead, or Game of Thrones. Accept that like I did, or you'll go insane. I only played the second Warcraft RTS, it was okay, switched back to Starcraft, I have zero love for, or even an understanding of the lore or franchise, and I thought the movie was fine. Nothing special, nothing ground breakingly, earth shatteringly horrible, it was a really expensive, good looking blockbuster. China loves it, it's breaking records left and right over there, I have zero doubt we'll see a sequel, probably with more marketing and other things pushed towards the Chinese audience, same thing they pulled with the latest Transformers movie. -
Oh crap, I'm SOOOO glad I never paid the insane markup for the D-Arts version. http://p-bandai.jp/item/item-1000104668/ Figuarts Charizard is on the way folks, web exclusive of course though.

Deadpool, on DVD/Blu-Ray May 10, 2016
Tking22 replied to miles316's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Nope, there's not even prototype pics yet. And I'm not too sure about the Figuarts thing, Marvel/Disney decided to get chummy with Bandai Japan and let the Figuarts Avengers and Civil War stuff happen, but the X-Men and Deadpool are still owned by Fox, maybe they aren't willing to take the plunge into allowing high-end import figure versions of their characters yet. My question is, would Marvel/Disney be able to create Figuarts of comic appearances of the X-Men and the like, Fox only owns the film rights and the rights to the film character's appearances, but what if Marvel/Disney wanted to make Figuarts based on classic or current X-Men comic series? -

Yeah I played the RE7 demo after I got home from work, it's interesting and fairly creepy, but I'm not sure if it's what I want for the next major RE installment. Hopefully it's just a proof of concept type thing, or just a small sort of detached intro to the new games setting and characters.- 6944 replies

Yay! Now I don't have to settle for that Generation Toy Jazz! I don't own any ToyWorld figures, but from what I recall they put out those MP sized Constructicons that most people are loving right? I can't wait, I need me an MP Jazz.- 9325 replies

I don't really consider that new specs, new specs to me would mean actual hardware changes, better GPU etc. Adding more modern USB support and 4K streaming where available aren't really new specs, just new features. No built in Kinect support is pretty expected as well, I can't imagine too many people still using theirs, nice that they're adding an adapter for the few that still want to use it though.- 6944 replies

I got a KO Tracks in Tuesday, it found its way to the trash about an hour after arrival. After reading a number of people on TFW2005 saying the KO was an improvement I decided to take a gamble myself, and gamble is literally the best way to describe what your situation is going to be. Mine had four really bad, really noticeable paint blemishes, and the finish of the plastic on the front two tires was garbage. I read some say they got a perfect copy that was better then their official, others got screwed like me, and some got copies that they could work with and make a few mods and fixes to make it better. So it really is just a gamble, like I said I tossed my KO already, it was far worse then official, but I only paid about $34 shipped, so maybe in a month or two I'll try to take the gamble again and grab another, see if I can get lucky.- 17320 replies

Even more strange, it appears there's actually two versions of the female Guyver II, HLJ only seems to carry one version. BBTS has both versions available, I grabbed the original color version. http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/search.aspx?search=guyver%20figma
