    Hi-Metal R

This. I'll gladly pay NY now and just have it dealt with, in this case I'm not minding web exclusivity. I must admit I didn't expect her to be exclusive, Max wasn't, but Bandai has had no problem in the past splitting up teams with web exclusives. At this point I'll have 15 exclusives paid and waiting at NY, this will just be something else to look forward to without worry.
  2. BBTS just messaged me to let me know Figuarts Donnie and Leo are expected in stock within 10 days, I can't wait, they look amazing. edit: Also, MonsterArts Destroyah special color version is on pre-order, web exclusive though. NY has him, but I'd go with BBTS if you can, their price beats NY and shipping will be much cheaper if you're in the US. Good deal if you're not looking to spend $250+shipping for the original release, I missed out on the original so this works for me. Now we just need that special color Biolante announcement and I'll be all caught up on MonsterArts.
  3. That's not even a figure, it's the actual gun he turns into with a Con logo on it.
  4. Yeah the helmet on the original release troopers looked fine to me, I'm not one to go over every little curve with a fine tooth comb, but apparently a large group of fans REALLY hated the helmet, to the point that they completely passed on the figure because of it. To each their own, like I said I think they looked fine to me, but I'll be getting two of these new guys too, updated articulation works for me, that was my biggest problem with the original Figuarts Stormtroopers.
  5. Newly sculpted head, which you can see in the picture, it's quite different from the original release OT Stormtroopers, apparently it's more accurate, the originally released Stormtrooper helmets were based on the Star Wars Rebels designs instead of the Original Trilogy for whatever reason. Also re-done knee and arm joints, the knees and arms/elbows will apparently be based on the First Order trooper designs, which is nice because they were near perfect. On a side note, I am super stoker, my two Heavy Gunner First Order troopers were delivered today, I don't get off for more then an hour but I can't wait to check them out!
  6. Trailbreaker definitely isn't one of the main characters in my opinion, nor is he a character I even really like, but he is original Arc crew, so I need an MP of him. I'd say if you're looking to only cover the most necessary Autobots then you need at least one of the Datsun bros, I'd say Prowl. You also need one Lambo character, and to that I'd say Sideswipe.
  7. Heavy breathing... I can't wait, I think I might NEED them. MMC and FansToys just didn't do it for me, both of these guys look amazing though.
  8. Indeed, I think they saw what the Mafex is coming with and decided they needed a V2, I must say though, I like this head sculpt way more then the Mafex one. But who cares about another lame whiny Kylo? What about all of this good stuff? http://news.toyark.com/2016/08/31/new-sh-figuarts-star-wars-rogue-one-219837 An essentially V2 original trilogy Stormtrooper, Rogue One Imperial troops, and Han Solo finally! Um, hell yes! I'm in for two of each cannon fodder unit, so yep, two of each of these guys. And the new Rogue One droid, and Han, and I guess I need a Kylo V2.
  9. A very cool transformation indeed! But still not the MP Megs for me, his legs and head look awful, I still gotta stick with Mightron.
  10. Yikes, I love my Willis/Hound but damn, that looks like the worst of the bunch. And now, Takara will have to announce their version within a month or so...
  11. NY sent me an email this morning that said Figuarts Widow will be releasing 9/24 instead of 9/30, I'll take it.
  12. What, really? My two shipped out from them Sunday, and I didn't get bothered about any other charges. Were the extra charges for shipping or the product itself? I paid for my two months ago via EMS, how long ago did you pay for your order?
  13. Ben's Bat was definitely the best part of BvS, but I still mostly hated it, even the ultimate edition. I can admit bias towards the DC movie verse, I didn't really think Man of Steel was anything special, said BvS will be better, didn't like that, then said Suicide Squad would be better, didn't like that, now I'm saying Wonder Woman will be better. Wonder Woman had a great trailer! But then again so did Suicide Squad... If WW is crap I'm officially out. I hate this trend of "the next will be better", like I said, if WW flops that's it, I'm CW DC-verse only. I think Ben definitely has the directing chops to pull off a great solo Bat movie, it's just everything else around him seems to be really crappy, and mediocre, the DC film verse can't survive on the Bat alone.
  14. 2016 is crap, can we just skip it? http://io9.gizmodo.com/legendary-actor-gene-wilder-dies-at-83-1785907308
  15. I kind of meant more of how meta will he be, Arkham Slade? Judas Contract Slade? new 52 Slade? Or possibly Rebirth Slade? His powers have fluctuated all over the place depending on writer, continuity, current universe, etc.
  16. Steppenwolf was already confirmed for the Justice League villain. As sh9000 pointed out, it was confirmed this morning Slade is the villain for the Bat solo movie, which has the working title "The Batman". Money says with all of the villains they mentioned will be in it that the title will change to Arkham something closer to release, or at least I hope so. I'd also bet we get a Deathstroke teaser after, or during Justice League part one, to set him up for some V Batman action. http://io9.gizmodo.com/either-ben-affleck-is-trolling-us-or-deathstroke-is-co-1785890151 edit: I like the Arkham look for the most part, but I'd like to move away from his more modern "armored" look, it's getting boring. Also, will he actually be meta or not?
  17. Very sweet haul here! I decided I wanted some Masterpiece Dinbots, so I'm going the FansToys route, and these two do not disappoint. Stomp is pretty incredible, probably Transformer of the year for me, Sever aint too shabby either. Both look good, and scale well I'm my opinion. Not owning any MP Dinobots yet I eyed GIgapowers stuff too and they just didn't do it for me, G1 toy accuracy isn't my thing, and they were just a bit too "thick" looking. These guys look amazing, I'll be grabbing the re-issue blue Soar and G1 cartoon Scoria as soon as they are available, and of course, FT Grinder will end up being my Grimlock. MonsterArts GMK 2001 Godzilla is probably my favorite MonsterArts Godilla mold, which is fitting because GMK 2001 is one of the my favorite Godzilla films, making him the villain again was great, and those dead white eyes were perfect.
  18. These two are amazing, money well spent. I look forward to assembling the rest of the team, Scoria included, he doesn't look too bad to me at all.
  19. That option has been gone for well over a year now. It threw my budgeting off quite a bit at first when they changed the policy, but I've got everything situated now.
  20. That's looking good, agreed on the kibble not being much of a bother, and Apollyon looking far worse in comparison. That price is on point too, how do you make your MP Megatron look tempting right off the bat, offer it for less then your competitors. I really don't want any MP Cons, but this guy is looking really good, and at that price I may just have to bite...
  21. War Machine's face sculpt looks a bit...Off? Also, new Figuarts yellow track suit Bruce. I'm in, looks good, the first Figuarts Bruce was quite incredible. http://news.toyark.com/2016/08/24/new-photos-sh-figuarts-bruce-lee-yellow-track-suit-version-219098
  22. I should've posted this a while ago, I've already got a whole new batch of goodies on the way...
  23. Well damn, this is a lot to take in, some shenanigans indeed. I guess overall I'll just get the re-issue Scoria, when/if Perfect Fusion Cesium ever actually gets a physical prototype I'll consider maybe eyeballing a pre-order. It seems FansToys REALLY try to make all of their fans happy, they've included so many extra little nit-picked things to later releases, like completely new heads for all of the bots with Grinder, or the underside panels for Sever that come with Stomp, it really seems like they will try to fix even the most minor complaints fans throw at them. Hell that's probably why they're willing to essentially do a Scoria V2, and their own completely new take on Grimlock. Scoria looks pretty solid to me, the re-issue has to have some updates and tweaks, I'm just not sure what criticisms people had about him in the first place, he's always seemed really solid to me, the only thing I can really immediately point out is the odd potatoe-like shape on his Dino mode, and even that's not that bad.
  24. I mentioned Scoria is getting a re-issue above, but I also just looked and saw Perfect Fusion Cesium is supposed to come out by the end of the year, and I gotta ask, what is the deal with that? He's labeled on most sites as FansToys, like Perfect Fusion is some off-shoot or something, so I guess for all intents and purposes he's a FansToys figure, but is he supposed to be like a Scoria V2? And why is he so much cheaper then most FT Dinobots? I'm just not really understanding these two releases, why re-issue Scoria if they're working on a new Masterpiece Slag? Why would FT make a new figure to compete with a re-issue of another figure of their own? What is your opinion on Scoria for those that own him, I've read he hasn't exactly aged well, and being the first Dinobot release he's apparently missing some of the nicer aspects of the newer Dinobots by FT. My question is, should I wait a decade on news and a release date for Cesium, or would the re-issue Scoria be the way to go? Aesthetically, they both look good, I could go with either, Cesium looks a bit taller, which is nice, and his bot mode looks a little less potatoe-ish, but they're both pretty damn good looking. I also haven't read anything about any updates or tweaks being made on the re-issue Scoria, what exactly were some of the issues with him? Looking at online reviews doesn't help too much, most are too old, and they were based on sample pieces, and most reviewers just gushed over him. I'm a bit lost here honestly, blue Swoop is a guaranteed buy when he's back in stock, Grinder will be mine, but now I'm a bit confused as to what I should do as far as Slag goes.
