  1. That sucks to here. I've had some good experience using Jet when regular super glues fail. Instant Jet is pretty good stuff. In a pinch I've also used a small little bit of epoxy too, that can get sketchy but the stuff holds really well. Epoxy is thick too, so you could do some buildup and filling in like you said you wanted to do.
  2. Is it cheating though? I consider the extendable joints part of the articulation as well, no reason not to.
  3. Some new shots of Bale Batman, with a cloth cape no less? Interesting, that was always what distinguished Figuarts from Mafex, cloth goods. Looks pretty good! I can't really recall, but if this the first Figuarts figure with a cloth cape? Or any cloth goods for that matter?
  4. Has anyone else been watching The Good Place? I was very skeptical at first, it looked by the numbers and the network it is on didn't give me much hope, and yet, it was probably my new favorite comedy of 2016. The first season just ended the other night and I have to say, it was probably one of the best season finales I've ever seen, and it had probably one of the best, most satisfying twists I've seen on a show in a VERY long time. If you're looking for a new comedy to watch that isn't super vulgar, or edgy, or over the top, this is definitely worth a watch. The performances were very solid, it was funny without being trying too hard, and the dialogue is quick and smart, highly recommended.
  5. ^Well said on Terraegis. I think he's a great figure, and after a ton of flip flopping and talking up Speedbump, I can happily admit I sold my Speedbump to a fiend several hours ago while on lunch at work. It looked pretty good, and had nice paint, but he just wasn't as nice all around as Terraegis. Terraegis hits all the marks for me for an MP Trailbreaker, even though I was never a big fan of the character, this figure has really warmed me up to his design. My Terra is pretty much flawless, and I love the mold so much I'm getting Artifex even though I really don't care for Hoist either. Also, Downbeat is officially in stock at BBTS, I have mine sitting in my Pile of Loot. That's going to be a fun box, MP Hasbro Asia Soundwave, Figuarts Mikey, Chogokin Voltron, and finally, after years of waiting, MY MP Jazz. I've been eyeing the Reprolabels set for him, I've never applied a set to any of my figures, I really don't like gumming them up with a bunch of stickers, it seems very cheap to me, but this set does look pretty decent. And compared to Coolsville he does have the objectively more plain alt mode. I don't know, I may just give him some Autobot logos and call it a day.
  6. I'm going with Artifex for Hoist because I love the MMC mold, and I REALLY hate transforming my Speedbump. Lorry does look better in bot mode, alt mode fails due to the massive amount of visible kibble. I think Artifex will do just fine, he's already shorter then Terraegis, and I'm just going to spread the hood/chest area out so he's as fat as possible, works for me, I really don't want to deal with another fiddly Speedbump mold. Coolsville has a better alt mode then Downbeat, but for me his bot mode is a dozen kinds of meh, especially that flap behind his head, that is SO distracting.
  7. It was already confirmed those aren't real comics, they were made just for these shots for the film. http://io9.gizmodo.com/those-x-men-comics-in-the-logan-trailer-were-made-just-1791398132
  8. Yeah Padme went up on NY this morning, I already paid and got my PO in. Link is below, web exclusives are pay up front for those that somehow don't know. https://www.nippon-yasan.com/19855-shfiguarts-padme-amidala-attack-of-the-clones-limited-edition.html
  9. I'm a die-hard MMPR fan, so I was seeing this either way, but this trailer was MUCH better then the last, far more fun. I hate the Kanye music, Goldar looks dumb, as does the Megazord, but overall this looks much better then before, much more colorful and less emo seriousness. Also, Heisenberg as Zordon works for me.
  10. A few new Padme images. She looks pretty good, I'm fully in on every release in the Star Wars Figuarts line anyway so this is just another to add to the collection. I can't find if she's a regular release or exclusive though. Anakin is exclusive, maybe she is too? Either way like I said, I'm getting her either way.
  11. Yup same, here. I'm VERY excited, this is my MP Jazz, I doubt the official TT version will anything I'm interested in based on these past few releases.
  12. Woohoo! BBTS officially charged me for my Chogokin Voltron! Unfortunately he's going to have to sit until Figuarts Mikey and MakeToys Downbeat/Jazz release, then that big ol box of goodies will finally be on its way.
  13. Confirmed, US release Figuarts Strange just comes with a dumb recolor of the Tamashii Flame Effect. Good god that was scaring me. Decent US price I guess. I feel I really didn't miss out at NY, paid US $74 for him shipped EMS. BBTS just seems to have the price up for the Import version, which is odd, they're not going to sell the US and Import versions are they? They've never done that, and once again, that'd make zero sense. http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=BAN17455&mode=retail
  14. Yeah do you have confirmation on this? If that's all it is I can breath a sigh of relief, I could really care less about an alternate colored flame effect.
  15. I've always considered most Zelda games semi open world, like Dark Siders, or Shadow of Mordor. GTA, Saints, Row, Assassins Creed, Far Cry, those are truly open world. Breath of the Wild appears more open world than any previous Zelda title, for better or worse. I'll reiterate that they could pull it off, it's just most open world games now days have a hard time filling in their world with interesting things, they pad it with artificial time killing stuff. I mean we'll know in about two months how well this new open world will open up, I'm just extremely skeptical. I love AC and Far Cry too, played every single one, but that doesn't change the fact that they are filled with a ton of lazy missions and quests, with tons of padded and repeated content and activities. The grind and repetitive nature works for those games, it's expected, but I'm worried Breath of the Wild will simply be that with a Zelda skin. If it is I'll be massively disappointed, that's not at all what I want in a new Zelda, but once again, I'm hoping Nintendo will do something more here.
  16. Yeah I guess technically that one and Wind Waker to an extent were open world, but not like this. This new Zelda appears to be going for the current Ubisoft open world formula, it's huge with tons of things on the map to do, but will any of it be fun? Will it get boring and grindy doing to the same thing I've done in 20 other regions all over again? Time will tell. There's no doubt more love and care will be put into this then, say, a Far Cry or another Assassins Creed, but still, the trend of moving everything towards open world worries me.
  17. It looks good! But not that good, I'm honestly worried how it will turn out. So many franchises now are going open world, because apparently that's the bees knees now days, but I just have this fear that it will be a big world filled with lots of boring busy work. I loved FFXV, but that game turned out the same way, FF was never open world, then it is, and it's a big open world, but it's pretty empty and mostly just filled with places to do fetch quests and other boring grindy stuff.
  18. Still looks pretty interesting but I'm in zero rush for one. I only played a handful of things on my Wii-U, Xeno, Bayonetta, Pikmin. The $300 launch price is absurd, you can get a PS4 or X1 for $50 less, and Nintendo eventually charging for online is idiotic, they've never had a solid online infrastructure let alone one that could rival Sony or Microsoft, and yet you want to charge for it? Zelda at launch just isn't enough for me, the new Mario looks cool, except those areas in the "real" world, they should've cut that bit, it looked awful.
  19. MakeToys Downbeat instructional/transformation video. That looks phenomenal, so clean, not too complicated, but it still looks fun. It appears the back end wasn't mis-transformed, and it does have that ugly split look in the rear below the bumper. Oh well, not even close to a deal breaker for me, this is MP Jazz, zero doubts. Once again I'll give Takara's a fair look when they announce it, but I'm not expecting much, I don't think they're handling the MP line as well as third party is at this point, their blatant change in aesthetics is odd, and now I'm just waiting for them to start releasing + versions of previous MPs slowly un-Hasui-ing the MP line, gross.
  20. No US pre-orders yet, and no word on the US Bluefin exclusive accessory. If the exclusive is the whip I'm going to lose my crap, it better be something crappy and inconsequential.
  21. What do you mean by two plaques? Do you mean the blue base thing that holds all of the weapons? All I read was that the US Bluefin versions would come with an extra Voltron sleeve over the main box because this guy's obviously more recognizable in the West as Voltron instead of Golion, maybe I'm confused about what you are referring to. Either way I want mine, he's coming in with the newly re-issued MP Soundwave Asia release with all of the cassettes in one box, I can't wait to get those guys in!
  22. Well crap, now I'm reading Bluefin will distribute Figuarts Strange in the US, with an exclusive accessory no less. This is only the second Marvel Figuarts to come to the US, and naturally it's the one I just got done paying off two minutes ago, and it will come with an extra accessory, damnit Bandai.
  23. It's standard Marvel fair, fairly ho hum plot, under developed villain, but it has a fantastic cast and the effects and action scenes are amazing. I'd recommend it. Figuarts Strange is officially up for PO. https://www.nippon-yasan.com/19775-shfiguarts-doctor-strange-limited-edition.html Got my order in, now the waiting game.
