I am SOOOO very excited for this. The original TV special was okay, but Curry is literally the only thing that has stood up to time, everything else ranges from bad to laughably terrible, effects, acting, script, all of it was terribad. I can't wait for this, plus the kid that played Jerome/Joker on Gotham is the new Penny-Wise, works for me, that kid put on a pretty decent Joker.

I had no idea Unit 2 would be marked up that quick, good thing I nabbed mine months ago! Within the same hour NY sent me a prep in progress and shipped email, Unit 2 is on the way! I've grabbed everything in the line so far, even managed to get a friend to grab me that stupid exclusive paint ball gun training set.

Looking good, can't wait! I'm loving this new kid as Spider-Man, it just warms my heart seeing him with his other Marvel brethren, it's the way it should be.- 266 replies

They do it with popular items regularly unfortunately. Once their stock of Chogokin Voltron started selling at retail and after their pre-orders went out they jacked the price up a bit on that too. Very slimy, but I get it, supply and demand and they have the supply. I'm just glad I got the damn Punisher I wanted, granted it was after I nabbed the regular release as well, but whatever, the accessories can be swapped around so I guess I'll have an ultimate Punisher by Mezco. Also, I'm a bit bummed the PX Exclusive Punisher has short sleeves and grey pants, I was expecting the same clothing as the regular release. Once again, I'll deal, I can just swap all the goodies I want on to the figure I prefer.

Do you want to know how shady BBTS is? I love the site, and use it often, but damn, this was pretty cringe worthy. I managed to nab a PX Exclusive Punisher on their site this morning after being told my pre-order couldn't be filled due to a lack of stock, okay whatever, at least I got one at retail, the jerk around was lame but I'll deal. Grabbed him at his retail $129.99, looked not ten minutes later and what do I see? http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=MEZ11085&mode=retail $199.99! Yup, just like that, they apparently got stock in, sold it for retail for like twenty minutes, then boom, that good old BBTS mark up.

Ditto here, NY let me know she's on the way now.

The gun/alt mode just looks so broken up and full of panel lines, it's way more noticeable then any of the third party options. Bot is clean though, but I still dislike the proportions and paint. I think he'll look incredibly odd next to the other MP cons just like the other newer animation/toon accurate MPs do, especially with that wonky, intentional, toon accurate squashed Con symbol. None of the other MP Cons have a symbol like that, plus overall, his toon aesthetic just won't mesh with the more detailed Soundwave, I'm sure he'll look fine next to the ugly official Shockwave though. This light aesthetic reboot is so odd, so much of the line just doesn't blend with it in my opinion, I just don't get why they suddenly started do things this way.- 17116 replies

Got my three at AmiAmi this morning just a second ago, zero issues, they're Destroids people, we go through this every time, there won't be PO madness for these guys.

It was announced quite a while ago that the DC TV and movie universes are two different things. Ezra Miller is movie universe Flash while Grant is the DC CW Flash, none of the characters will ever cross over or meet, though many would like them to. -
NY quoted me March 25th for her ride, it seems web exclusives always release on Saturdays. I'd camp NY and AE after her release, I'm sure their extra stock will pop up eventually at an inflated price.

I'm in for three, no more then that, three of very cannon fodder unit is my quota, then I'm good.

Man I never noticed how awful that Con symbol on him looks, that's frakking terrible. I get it, once again, animation accurate, but damn, that just looks so, so, so awful. What options would anyone have for covering it up? White backed Repro Con label at best? That's such a terrible decision in my opinion, god damn you Takara, you really don't want any of my money anymore do you?- 17116 replies

The only reason I am even slightly interested in this is for Willem Dafoe voicing Ryuk.

I don't bother with 1/60 anymore, but if the quality is decent I'll grab a few as gifts for friends. A lot of my friends always liked my 1/60 stuff, but screamed like girls when I told them prices, and now the prices are even worse. I've never shied away from KO or third party, so I'll give one a whirl someday after a review. Chances are good RocketPunchArmy will review one when they're available, he always reviews KO Transformers and other stuff.

Convenience. I always have a bunch of different stuff on order at BBTS, them and HLJ are my two most used internet toy shops, and like with HLJ, that Pile of Loot feature is amazing. If the price were a tad cheaper from the Mezco site I might consider it, but the price is always the same so I'll just have Wolverine ship with whatever other garbage I have released at the same time. And I guess I didn't really mean changes to the figure itself, that still looks the same, but the new pics are showing off that he comes with a calm and angry head, as well as a katana with a sheath. I love this line, so I'm in for him. I also splurged a bit and have Flash, Zoom, Joker, and the regular release Punisher all on the way now too.

So yeah, the second episode got VERY dark. I mean, I figured at TV-14 is was only a matter of time before we saw a real human death, but once again, damn, that was very dark. I'm loving the balance the new season is finding too, many were afraid it would get too dark, but nope, like I said, there's a nice balance. New Aku VA is a bit off, but he works for me, either way I am loving having Jack back, especially on the same night as Star Wars Rebels! I feel like a kid again tuning into Toonami for some excellent cartoon action. The beat boxing assassin in the first episode was a highlight for me as well, it wouldn't be Jack without more interesting robo villains for him to slaughter!

That Flash musical episode was one of the most delightful hours of television I have watched in a while. I had a stupid grin on my face literally the whole time. The cast gots pipes! I mean, Grant and Melissa were on Glee, and Stein is a Broadway man, but still, so excellent! Also, Stein busting out into the Banana Boat song on last week's Legends, right in the middle of NASA mission control, was one of the funniest things I've seen on television in a LOOONNNGGG time. Only a show like Legends could've pulled that off, then the pretty much evil Rory jumped in too. These shows are absolutely not without their faults, and they're full of cheese, but damnit do I love them! Arrow has gotten better, Legends is absolutely killing it this season, and The Flash has been mixed.

Everyone is watching The Americans right, AKA the best show currently on television until Fargo next month? Also, FX is absolutely killing it, they've surpassed AMC in my mind, and are currently rivaling HBO, FX has a number of different shows on that are just absurdly good all around. Legion is fantastic as well, knowing very little about the character because I've never been a huge X-Men fan, I'm liking it a lot! Very trippy, every episode is like another piece of the puzzle, and you're slowly putting the pieces together. I can't wait until the finale so I can re-watch the whole season again and catch everything that I initially missed.

Went ahead and pre-ordered Wolverine at BBTS. They definitely made some changes for the better, still not thrilled with the shorts and shoulder pads, but I'll deal, I REALLY love this line.

I don't mind the texture on Spidey at all, I'm actually digging it. Figuarts Spidey looks great, need a PO on that ASAP. The only advantage I'm seeing with the Mafex one is the unmasked head, but even then it will probably look awful because Mafex has a terrible habit of having their finished products look nothing like the promo shots, I'm literally looking directly at Mafex Wonder Woman, never again with that company...

I have ToyWorld Cosmos on the way too, loved Cosmos, one of my favorite season 2 mini bots. Grump is fantastic as well, easily my favorite MP mini bot in my collection, he is undeniably MP Gears. -
Meh, I can understand some being disappointed by the length of the fight, they did make a big deal out of it, but once again, I think what we got was perfectly fitting. And as you pointed out, there's a long gap between two Master's efficiently, and precisely striking at each other and blink and you'll miss it. There was a TON of love and attention to detail in that little duel. Also, with a character like Obi-Wan, especially this close to ANH, I wasn't really expecting very much of him in it at all, I think Rebels delivered pretty much EXACTLY what I expected, length and content wise. Obi-Wan can't have too prominent a part, we're way too close to ANH events, and I'm not sure what else you'd be expecting from him except chatting with Ezra for a bit longer. I figured Maul would catch onto Obi-Wan's mission, and that as soon as they finally faced off that would end up being their battleground. To each their own once again, they did kind of play it up like a bit battle was coming, but I still feel what we got was perfectly big enough, the duel was very intimate, it was far more about the meaning and finality of it then a big duel/fight itself. These are old Masters, once again, I'm not expecting a prolonged fight from either, Maul was ready to end it either way, and Obi-Wan has a fairly important kid to watch.

I love that TT was essentially pressured into doing more with accessories thanks to third party, but man, that asking price is absurd. I'm definitely loving the accessories, but I'm just not seeing them plus the figure itself justifying the asking price. Plus, I just can't settle for the grey "toon" accurate color, it looks like it wants to be a premium figure but the paint job is where they gave up. I really need to see him next to Mightron, my current MP Megs, I'm not expecting much, but I'd still like to see the comparison.- 17116 replies
