My total to AmiAmi with EMS was 46,673 JPY. Hefty total, but it also includes MonsterArts 54 Godzilla, Figuarts Ant-Man, and Figuarts A New Hope Luke. That's going to be a sweet package to get my hands on!

Hot damn, decisions, decisions... BadCube Speedbump MMC Terraegis Two options for MP Trailbreaker? Both from pretty damn excellent third party companies? I'm personally leaning towards Badcube, Sunsurge is incredible, as is Brawny, and after MMC kind of flubbed on Backdraft, I'm gonna stick with Badcube. That said they both look really good. I feel Badcube nailed Hoist far better then MMC, adjustable height is great, and makes sense, most people will probably want their Hoist short and fat. I mean that is almost too sexy to be legal. I can't believe these two just came out of nowhere, and a September release? Um, frakking yes please.- 9275 replies

Odd. Myself and another member scanned all the Japanese sites the day this went up for pre-order and found nothing, NY included. I guess it took them a bit to list it, then it sold out anyway, which is good, the more Guyver sales the better.

Damnit Figuarts Ant-Man, come out already! That's the last thing holding up my AmiAmi order. The new MonsterArts Godzilla is out, Figuarts farm boy Luke is out, people are receiving Monster payment requests, now I just need stupid Scott to release so I can pay this massive bill and get my goods shipped.

Terrible, terrible movie. Had the unfortunate experience of sitting through it last night, pretty damn bad, almost zero positives to say about it.

First thing that confused me was that they showed off both Figma Guyver II versions, and yet, not even NY, the place that usually carries exclusive figures and alternate versions, doesn't have the movie color version either. Even more strange, why does BBTS, a US retailer, carry both Figma Guyver IIs and yet most of the usual Japanese sites don't? Oh well, at least she's coming out, plus Guyver 3! Also One Punch Man Saitama, which went up for pre-order earlier and I already grabbed, looks great, new Link and hot damn, Zelda! Lots of good news all around, plus while I didn't care for the game at all, a Bloodborn Hunter was teased as well, I know that has a lot of people's blood pumping.

I never considered Apollyon, he always looked terrible to me, plus his QC issues made him an easy pass. I really had my eye on Despotron, but this guy is looking good too, even better then Despotron in my opinion. Oh well, I don't do Mp Cons so none of this means anything to me either way.- 9275 replies

To be fair MPP-10 is a KO, not third party. -

They're kind of generic due to the peg size, I've fit a number of different things on them, but they are Tamashii Stage Act 5 stands. They're made for Bandai's various mecha figures like Hi-Metal R, and all of the Robot Damashii/Spirits Gundam figures. The Hi-Metal R Roy exclusive came with one of these with some custom coloring on it, they're pretty great and versatile for the price. There's three per set with all the bits and bobs to customize the included 3 how you want, I've personally got 12 Act 5s stashed, and 16 of the Act 4, which are made for Figuarts figures and 1/12 scale figures in general. http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=BAN14285&mode=retail -
Damn, really? Nearly at the same time Bandai teases Figuarts versions of the original GB these get announced? I'd probably stick with the Figuarts if they are a real thing, but these look good. I'm definitely nabbing the Joker they showed off earlier.

Yeah I'm not an Insecticon fan, but I read plenty about the Forager controversy. He looks pretty damn phenomenal, but that part that is giving people issues is just unacceptable. I read they included a fixed or replacement part on the Iron Dibot release that came right after him, nice for those that bought that release too, crummy for those that didn't and just wanted a nice Third Party Insecticon without any issues. The same thing nearly happened with Willis too. Early reviews said his side mirrors were extremely fragile, 3 of the 5 early reviews had breaks on their side mirrors. It seemed at first all FansToys was going to do was put an extra note in the box that said to be careful like with Forager, but they delayed him and extra two weeks and re-did the side mirrors in a soft, rubbery plastic, which is nice and works well. Definitely agree on the Awakening Goku, great figure, an excellent update over the original "clean" gi release. Plus damaged Goku looks much better with my only other DBZ FIguart, Broly. I'm actually taking some blank Tamashii Stage stands and pad printing them at work with the same exact layout that the little official ones I just got come in, I'm even going to do one for white ranger. Easy enough layout to remake, I think they'll look great. -
Yeah I grabbed a Harley last night from HLJ along with my Chogokin Voltron. Early previews of Comic-Con goods are coming out, I saw this and lost my crap, if we get the whole actual team I will be a very happy camper... Also, there's a gallery for ANH Figuarts Luke up, I think he looks great, another excellent addition the SW Figuarts collection, I can't wait for him and Ant-Man. http://blog.livedoor.jp/hacchaka/archives/51984634.html

Got some stuff in, really excited for this batch. I know a lot of people don't like the Figuarts Mario releases, but when you have as many different sets and doubles and triples as I do, the figures really start to shine and look great when you set everything up. I had a Monsterarts 2014 Godzilla before but he suffered from derp eyes and Koolaid mouth so I gave him to a nephew, found this one for cheap and I guess I hit the QC lottery because he seems fine. Couple other little things, I love the Power Rangers Legacy line so I've grabbed everything in that, the communicator is pretty nice. Plus I needed lots more stands, Tamashii Stage Acts and two 1/6 stands. I've been waiting on FansToys Willis, AKA Masterpiece Hound, for a VERY long time. He's my first FansToys figure and I can say, I'm really impressed, I've been let down by Takara's latest releases so I feel if they announce an official one I doubt I'll even bother with it, this guy is just too perfect, and I have little faith Takara will put out anything more then a boring looking green block for official Hound. I got out of 1/6 a few years back after getting burned by several crappy Hot Toys in a row, but I love Breaking Bad, and I figured it would be hard for a company to screw up WW, he's pretty damn great, excellent head sculpt, I'm ready for Jesse to release so I can put the dynamic duo together. -

Edit: Oops, posted in wrong thread. -
Were the crappy old Toynami battlepods in the vinyl line as well? I had 6 but I can't for the life of me remember a single thing about them, let alone their build material and texture. So did Toynami release two different 1/100ish lines with heroes and enemy mecha that just happened to scale decently? That's weird, but also, that's Toynami.

Hell yes, third party or nothing it seems these days no matter the line or scale you're interested in. -
I seriously had no idea this line was still a thing. Did they ever release their version of the Glaug? Or whatever the hell Robotech calls it?
-
That looks sexy, I'm glad I never entertained the idea of that insanely expensive Toynami version, plus Toynami, what was I thinking?

What exactly screams fail to you? Not liking the new Godzilla design is one thing, but I don't see how that translates to fail for the entire film nobody has seen yet. The Shin design is really growing on me, the only thing I'm not liking at this point are the eyes, they remind me of elementary school craft day googly eyes. Other then that, this looks phenomenal, the scale, the seemingly useless modern military tech, this is all looking pretty damn promising to me.
-
Yeah they obviously set up and are hoping for a season 2, did everyone see the final scene in the bathroom? I'm just hoping it got enough views to warrant a second season. Absolutely fantastic series.

I'm glad to see we're finally getting some of the last Arc MP crew members we've all been missing. I just need Badcube to announce the Brawny reissue and Huff 2.0. I still don't want to, but there's few other options, I'm gonna grab an X-transbots Boost. I want the toy version to come out, but there's been little word on that so I don't even know if it's still getting released. And yes, I bet since we're now getting multiple MP Jazz options, Takara is probably set to announce their version..- 9275 replies

I watched all of season one today, damn great stuff. The music and soundtrack are phenomenal, it screams eighties the whole way through. So much good, I think Dobber said it well, it's like a number of great elements from different classic films rolled into one excellent, incredibly entertaining and well made season.

I think he looks like the Black Racer. But Flashpoint, so who knows how all of this will go down, and how much of it will actually mean anything or stick.

I did my part and bought two, one to open and one to leave sealed. It really is a great Figma. Like many others I missed out on the old Max Factory Guyver units, and now they of course go for insane prices, especially the core Guyver units, so I'm ecstatic to see Figma giving us ANY new Guyver figures at all.
