I'm guessing we'll be hearing about them sometime soon, based on the fact that they just appeared at Toy Fair 2016. http://news.toyark.com/2016/01/28/tmnt-dbz-sh-figuarts-nuremberg-toy-fair-2016-189752

Your most recent Macross or toy purchase! General thread.

OOOOOOHHHHHHHH MMMMMMYYYYYYY GGGGGGGGOOOOOOOODDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, I am SOOOOOO unbelievably excited I actually managed to find this, like, wow, this wasn't supposed to release until late February or early March. And yet, after looking over Rangerboard for the first time in over a week, I found that this guy was spotted in California, and after reading through the thread a bit more, someone found one in Vegas! Low and behold, after calling around, I found the literal last one in town, and I am incredibly stoked to open this guy up and check him out! Seriously folks, this is a holy grail for me. When I was a kid, I had the stand alone Red Dragon Thunderzord, and the stand alone White Tiger Thunderzord, but I never had the assault team, it sucked, it was maddening, I couldn't make the Thunder Megazord, or Mega Tigerzord, but now, once again thanks to the Legacy Power Rangers line, I can complete my Thunder team. He was pricey, like really pricey, but he absolutely looks worth it. Unlike the Legacy Dino Megazord, this one was designed and made from scratch, from the ground up, brand new mold, no stickers, tampo, paint, and molded detail for days! Plus diecast, articulated Red Dragon Thunderzord tail and neck, it's just, an absolute beast, and I am so insanely excited to have actually found this as early as I did. Hopefully Legacy Tor is coming down the pipeline, Legacy White Falconzord is dropping later this month, so obviously Legacy Ninja Megazord will be happening eventually, damn, I can't wait! -
I haven't received mine yet, Bruce is in my private warehouse at HLJ, I'll ship him once Masterpiece Ironhide arrives and gets paid for. That said, I'm excited for him, the Figma version looked god awful, so I'm itching to check out the Figuarts version.

I've had this happen before with a Bandai Space Battleship Yamato, it was listed as brand new and sealed, suffice to say, it surely was not. If it bugs you enough or if there is real damage, do what everyone else said, file a claim, if the seller lists it as brand new and sealed in the item condition category then that's it, he's responsible for his word. -

That's a pretty sweet Hot Toys haul, and I'm not even much for Hot Toys, but there's no denying that Star Wars stuff looks pretty neat. Thanos looks good, but after seeing reviews online, it really looks like they phoned it in with him, he's cut up weird, and his articulation and accessories seem lacking to say the least. -
Yes this, his lightsaber is a tasty little morsel, but we NEED a Figuarts Liam/Qui-Gon Jinn.

I did and I absolutely love him, probably one of my favorite Star Wars Figuarts releases. I've had him for over a week now, I was going to post some pics after I got in Figuarts Bruce and Hulkbuster. I would highly recommend him if you already have Figuarts Maul, he's almost necessary if you have him honestly. And even if you don't I'd recommend grabbing him and Maul then, they look EXCELLENT together battling.

First image of The Justice League? Looks pretty legit to me, supposedly it's a leak from tonight's The Flash premier on CW.

Looks like someone got a hold of a prototype MP Ironhide. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bEJ-KSxEow&feature=youtu.be He looks good! My excitement factor is well over 9000, I'm ready for him and Ratchet.- 17116 replies

Bumping this thread back from the dead, don't know if anyone else is watching this, not sure how anyone that isn't in Star Wars fever possibly couldn't be, but there's a new trailer for the return of Star Wars Rebels, and just, damn... I was super bummed when Clone Wars ended, it had a bit of a rocky start, but was absolutely pumping on all cylinders towards the end. Rebels is pretty damn great so far too, and this mid-season return is looking epic, that "Old Master" looks like a certain scarred, tattooed Zabrak many are familiar with...

The Unlicensed Third Party Transformers Thread

So is FansToys ever going to release Willis or was that quietly cancelled or something? I had heard they like dragging their feet on certain releases, and they love delays, but this seems absurd. I pre-ordered him back in March, and he's been delayed three times now. This was to be my first third party, but at this point, I may just cancel it and not even bother.- 9275 replies

So you're not disappointed in the line itself, but in the availability? That's understandable, but also, that is Bandai. You really gotta get on these quicker if you want them at decent prices, I'm just as surprised the VF-1s sold like they did. Glaug is still quite available though, so that's something.

Didn't mean to come off as hostile, I thought you hadn't read my post. Going back to horror roots I like, one of my favorite Godzilla films was the Godzilla, Mothra, Ghidorah All Out Attack for exactly this reason, they made Godzilla a monster again, and in the context of that film in particular, the bad guy. Showa and heisei era were great, everyone likes seeing Godzilla stomp monster ass, but I'm ready for a revitalized take on the original 54 terror. Hopefully they can deliver that and give us at least a memorable new design with this film.
-
Lizard and green were general terms, don't get hung up on them. The Godzillasaurus bit is the only actual origin we've ever gotten for Godzilla, and I already mentioned that. To me this nearly sounds like damage control due to the backlash of the leaked design. Hopefully we get something better looking near the film's end, but even if we do, that won't change his tiny goofy eyes and his over the top piranhas mouth.

As Saburo pointed out, there's a few places you can still get them, but reasonable price is probably out the window. It seems if you're wanting anything Hi-Metal at a reasonable price you gotta get on them quicker, their aftermarket prices shoot up pretty quick, that armored 1J is almost climbing to Arcadia GBP 1J retail price.

Damn, when is MP Ironhide releasing? I've got mine locked down at HLJ, and I NEED him. I know HLJ says January, anything more firm then that? My B-Day is the 29th of this month, him, Figuarts Bruce, and my Chogokin X Figuarts Hulkbuster would be a super sweet present to myself.- 17116 replies

Yeah I saw these leaked about a week ago, and it's just not really doing it for me either. I get what they're going for, before the design reveal and leak, Toho described pretty well what he'd look like, and this is definitely what they described. They wanted him more monsterish, and terrifying, and like others mentioned, they wanted evoke the original 54 concepts where he is essentially a constant radiation sickness/burn victim, and yeah, he definitely looks that way to me. That said though, as I said before, I don't really like it, it's a bit too much in my opinion. The radiation/burn damage thing doesn't really make too much sense to me conceptually, he's not a human, depending on continuity he's either a mutated Godzillasaurus, or just some kind of monster lizard that already existed and then got further mutated by radiation testing and what-not. Would a creature like that show the same attributes that a human would under these circumstances? It's just weird, just being green and a giant lizard before was fine, THAT was the product of his mutation and radiation exposure, he's a giant atomic breathing lizard, making him look all zombie-like doesn't make sense, are G-cells no longer a thing? Can he no longer nearly instantly heal? I really need to see it all in motion.

Can't wait, I'm ready for season 2. I love how the Punisher skull has been in the background of almost every piece of marketing until now, he's coming, and it's going to be badass.

Yeah I think Vision would be a must buy for everyone, even those not collecting all the Marvel Figuarts, his look was great in the film, and I think a Figuarts of him would be insane. Black Panther, Winter Soldier, Falcon, I'd buy them all, that said, and this may sound bad, but I'd punch my mother square in the face for a Figuarts Ant-Man and Yellow Jacket...

I'm talking animation scale, which yes, probably isn't the best scale representation obviously, but the way I remember Zen troops is them being as big as a VF-1 on the show, so that's how I remember them, the scene painted in my mind is when Hikaru drops his first Regult and the troop gets out, and is as tall as Roy's 1S. Maybe the Hi-Metal R line is more to true scale then I thought, but everything still seems like it's smaller then it should be to me. Seeing those charts you posted, which I've seen dozens of times, the basic troops still look far too small to me, if that is actual scale, then it's even more irritating to me, why exactly was Breetai a giant? Why do some troops look like they could fit into a Glaug or Regult and others look like they could box a VF-1? I think it'd be for the best for Bandai to just make Figuarts Breetai and leave it at that, any other troops in any other sizes would get confusing in my opinion. Cockpit sized Zens, VF-1 sized Zens, bigger then VF-1 Zens? Their sizes are all over the place, I think trying to recreate fodder troops would be a bad idea.I couldn't picture holding in my hands, tiny little zens to fit into my enemy mecha, and a big valk sized Figuart Breetai, that'd be weird. If anything, I'm a little baffled Bandai didn't at least make painted static pilots like the valkyries, granted on the Regult there wouldn't be much to see, just the back of some dudes head, but the Glaug could have benefited from a little painted pilot sitting in the seat.
-
Yeah but they'd be teeny tiny, I don't think the enemy mecha in this line are in very good scale to be honest, it's somewhat close I guess, or at least close enough. Figuarts already showed off Breetai, I know he's supposed to be quite bigger then the average troop, but if we somehow got Hi-Metal Zen troops, and supposedly Figuarts Breetai is in scale with the Hi-Metal VF-1s, something is going to end up looking very off. My main worry now is that I've only got 3 Regults on pre-order, and now 2 Glaugs, if Bandai doesn't milk the Regult and put out missile variants I'll probably end up selling a Glaug, nearly as many advanced units as grunts doesn't make much sense to me. What mark up sites are you referring to? And do you mean some sites have pre-orders for $20-30 US marked up above retail? Because the Regults were about $50-60 each when the pre-orders first went live.

Exactly the same here, the 46 doesn't look very different from the 45 I already own, and I'm not one to collect multiple Iron Man armors, and I have zero interest in buying and filling out a hall of armor. And yes, I still wholeheartedly agree, this new Cap looks just plain terribad. I managed to snag Figuarts Mace last night from AmiAmi, he'll be coming in with my two Hi-Metal R Glaugs in May, I can't wait. And I'm dying to know when we'll get to see more of Figuarts Widow and Hawkeye, the need for them is VERY real. edit: Holy crap Bandai updated the Figuarts Civil War page. http://tamashii.jp/marvel/civil_war/ Cap and Tony are easy passes, but that little bit at the bottom, where it says "and more...", got me salivating.
