  1. Can't wait, season 3 news and promotional stuff is just now starting to flood out. http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/07/23/see-colton-haynes-in-full-costume-as-arsenal-in-arrow-season-3 Kind of interesting that they're going straight to Arsenal, the nickname Speedy was teased in the first season I believe, but since Ollie still isn't called the Green Arrow quite yet, I guess it's fitting that Roy doesn't start calling himself Red Arrow.
  2. This. I currently have all the Play Arts Metal Gear releases, while they're cool I'd gladly upgrade to a Figma set instead, for space, and I'm also f%*#@!$ terrified by my Play Arts, they break easily and often.
  3. It's happening people, get ready. Snake? Snake?! Also, a Nendoroid version if you're into that crap.
  4. Honestly, between the dozen TV spots I just watched in a row on Youtube, plus the new Knock Knock trailer from a few posts up, I'm all in, and I'm fairly excited. The Turtles looks grew on me, they aren't that bad at all, they actually look pretty, dare I say, normal, in action and while moving, I think stills and posters look rough. The comedy seems there, the Turtles personalities seem intact, Shredder is Oroku Saki, yeah he's a giant robot armor, but I'll take it over another lame Aldrich Killian-esque cop out where a random white guy swaps himself for a badass long established villain. Edit: I also noticed in the Knock Knock trailer posted above, the Turtle's eyes roll back and go all white right at the end when they run out of the elevator, cool little detail and it's synonymous with most incarnations of the Turtles.
  5. Meh, why Dead Space 3? I mean I personally enjoyed it, and had a hell of a lot of fun with it in co-op, but I think his armors from 1 and 2 were miles better then the winter fur covered look from 3. I saw this was up about a week ago on bigbadtoystore, it's a pass for me.
  6. Looks like I gotta get me Luigi now, can't wait, I need the superior brother. I wonder if we'll see a Yoshi release? The only thing I'm wondering is how they'd get Mario/Luigi to ride him? I personally have no gripes with Mario, he was $20 so I'm not entirely sure what people expected, but I could definitely see how what we got could hinder his ability to interact with a Yoshi figure.
  7. Damn I didn't know this was happening, adult Cockroach warriors from Terra Formars, I started this manga about two months ago and It's pretty damn good and brutal so far. I'm excited for these guys, I may have to grab three of them, at this point now I'm wondering if we'll get hero characters from the series as well, I'd buy the Japanese Hornet and the Grasshopper, both those guys were total badasses. http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=MF10419&mode=retail
  8. I didn't realize the level cap was 8, I'm done now, literally nothing more to do, and I can unfortunately say I had to really push to reach 8, I got bored . And is it just me, or is PVP quite difficult? I've played Halo since number one on my original fatty Xbox, but damn, Destiny is pretty tough.
  9. Well I only have 4 pre-orders paid off, my fifth still hasn't requested payment yet, I came to the conclusion 5 is an odd number, if I can I may pick up a sixth. On a side note, my 3 29s I ordered showed up on Thursday, so that's cool, I don't know, I may keep a YF-30 for myself, doubtful though, I really do just want to keep these packed up in case any more "life" happens.
  10. I watched a showing at 10 earlier today and damn, it was incredible. After being bored to death almost literally from Age of Extinction, I was ready for an actually good summer flick, and this was it for me, in spades, it was amazing beginning to end. I loved that the focus was on the apes this time, yes the humans played their roles, but Ceasar was the star, although I must admit Koba really stole all the scenes he was in, all in all it was a damn fine movie and I will be buying it day one on Bluray, hell I'll probably go see it in DFX a few more times while it's in theaters.
  11. Thought I'd post this, this is a deleted scene from the Raid 2, it was apparently cut for pacing, and also it was ridiculously violent, too violent to achieve an R rating. Warning though, the video is extremely violent, tons of gun violence and buckets of blood.
  12. It's very unfortunate how this figure is turning out, that sucks that it's proving disappointing for those who were actually looking forward to it. I've got 5 on pre-order, with zero intention of actually owning one myself, they're all going in storage along with 3 different YF-29s that I managed to get a hold of, well I guess two aren't I promised one to my cousin and I'm giving one to my friend Chris for his birthday. After seeing how Bandai valks sell after release I've decided to start collecting figures that I find for a good price and storing them, keep them nice and new in case I need a new rainy day fund.
  13. Wow that looks about a million times better without that awful blue canopy, nice work.
  14. The Flash pilot already leaked online about a week ago, it personally sold me on both the show, and Grant Gustin as a young, inexperienced Flash. The effects were actually really well done in my opinion, and there were lots of hints and easter eggs setting up future villains. At the end of the Flash pilot was a particularly interesting and possibly massive spoilery little bit in the form of a newspaper headline, it alluded to two massive Justice League hero run industries merging, one of which hasn't been introduced in Arrow or the Flash yet it confirmed the entities existence within the universe, and the Flash himself disappearing in a strange crisis...
  15. I posted this in the Superman V Batman thread as well, Stephen Amell is hinting at big news for Comic-Con, this could possibly mean he will join the Snyder DC universe, or it could just be news for the next season of Arrow, after watching the leaked Flash pilot, I think there's a good chance he will join Superman V Batman. http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/07/03/arrow-star-stephen-amell-teases-big-comic-con-plans
  16. I'm not sure if this will end up being related or not, but Stephen Amell of CW's Arrow has been teasing some really big news for Comic-Con, is there a chance he will be the Emerald Archer of the Snyder DC universe? http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/07/03/arrow-star-stephen-amell-teases-big-comic-con-plans
  17. I wholeheartedly disagree about Figuarts Mario, I think he's great, and he is perfect for my Super Smash display.
  18. I also personally hated the way the new cons "transformed", kind of lame in my opinion, not much of what I'd consider a traditional transformation, more closer instead to ultra hardcore mass re-configuration.
  19. Lol not ushers in general, but this particular one I do indeed have a problem with, and he's unfortunately at every major movie premiere night.
  20. It definitely sounds like you got a hell of a deal, anytime I see either M&M they are usually going for 500-700$ each.
  21. I tried, I really did, I don't think my figures were defective, I just didn't get the head/neck area, it was just too over-engineered, it just wasn't working for me. I tried watching every video I could, I even got like 6 different very helpful MW members to send me pics and try to help me out, but it just didn't help, I couldn't figure it out. I don't own any Macross Frontier mecha anymore except for my 29 Anniversary, it's cool, but once again, I'm never ever going to try transforming it, it went to gerwalk once and that's it, I may keep it, but I've been thinking about selling it lately and spending the money on some Power Rangers legacy items instead.
  22. I absolutely loved Pacific Rim, definitely one of the most entertaining and fun movies I've seen in years, I'm so glad to hear a sequel and an animated film or whatever is on the way! My 18" Knifehead figure is on the way, I can't wait, I'm building a super sweet diorama that replicates the opening battle of the first film as we speak, I've got little helicopters hooked up to LED lights and everything, I'm painting cotton to replica the ocean, oh it will be so sweet!
  23. Yea I saw Age of Extinction Thursday night, it was about exactly what I expected, extremely unfunny and stupid, with explosions and metal on metal carnage. I don't know how to describe it, but this one felt the most...generic? Like I said it's hard to describe exactly, this one just seemed to have less, something in it, definitely not explosions or overall run time, I had no idea this one was well over two and a half hours until the monstrous little teenage turd that worked at the theater told me. Most of these movies I liked the Autobots for the most part, but I found myself not even remembering the green and blue Autobots names, Hound was really cool though, he was definitely the best bot in the movie in my opinion. Dinobots were boring, and forgettable, did Prime really just make Grimlock his bitch in like 30 seconds? And why the f&!# can't Bumblebee talk yet? The most talkative Autobot in the history of Transformers and he still relies on stupid audio clips to communicate?
  24. Masterpiece Bumblebee looks cool, I don't really do Transformers but a super sexy G1 inspired Bumblebee would be awesome, after seeing another crappy Bayformers movie where Bumblebee still doesn't talk made me long for a nice piece that pays tribute to the real Bee.
  25. It's gonna take more then a couple of lines of witty banter for me to shell, lol, money out to see this. Shredder looks ridiculous, though I will admit the new trailer intrigued me, it seems like Shredder will indeed end up being Oroku Saki and not some tiny random white guy, I'm also not liking the replacement voices, Johny Knoxville is not doing it for me as far as Leonardo goes.
