Me either Jenuis, hoping for the best before any major "hold up all shipping" type of holidays.

Energy Conversion Armor (ECA), some gathered trivia

Interesting read Mr March, thanks for sharing this with us all! -
Yep, preparation in progress

If I was not lazy, I would take screen caps from the show. I don't doubt they were "Meant to be" grey, but the animation changed the color like every other frame lol.
-
Yeah, NY is taking their sweet ass time with getting these shipped out. If I did not have the old SP version, I would be freaking out lol.
-
I would like to remind people that the goggles in that scene actually change colors from grey/white multiple times. So for me it really does not matter really, it should be a quick fix to make them grey if you were really concerned about it.

Hey Spanner, my wife is actually cool about it. I am not in debt in any way and all my matters are in good order. She never gives me any crap about it at all, we have watched every Macross show/movie together and she loves it. I just get nervous when she starts counting stuff up lol. I guess I am weird about people trying to put a value on my collection heh.
-
This is a hard question, if you want you can click on the link in my sig and try to total it up LOL. I bought most of my collection at the more sane prices from web shops. Are you my wife? Kinda suspect with only 8 posts My wife has tried to total up my collection of stuff that is on display, but I told her to just stop. There is no way I could tell her the true amount that I have spent over the years. Her value got pretty damn high just by estimating them at 100 a piece, but I know a lot of them were more than that plus all the shipping costs.

Overall I am not really impressed, especially for the price. And am I the only one noticing that the gerwalk mode looks horrible akin to the v1 Bandai Mac F toys? It looks like they forgot to add a upper thigh swivel joint so you can splay the legs apart. I also don't like the upper intake in fighter mode with the exposed peg holes for gerwalk mode. I am glad though that someone decided to tackle the Macross II stuff for the people that like it, although I am not one of them.

I was only able to secure one of these because of the CDJ limit, but when the YF-30 was released I was able to snag another from CDJ on release day. I am hoping the same happens with the VF-19 release.
-
I hope they make a revision on the 0A/0S releases. Half plastic half diecast is silly. I have yet to transform either of the 0D's I have, but this is putting the fear of god in me to even attempt playing with the extending joint feature.

Gundam Figure Thread - Newtype GN-002

Anyone see any updates on the beam wing option parts for the Metal Build Destiny yet? I am wondering if they are really going to release them lol.- 6025 replies

Yeah I am pretty sure the user was banned from this forum for violating the rules on selling recast parts and such.
-
I would also like to see them make them if they have the rights to do it. I would add the VF-19 active to that list too.
-
I thought the Caliburn and the Nothung were from Macross the ride. Does Bandai have licensing rights to it?

I had already bought in to the 1/60 v2 line before I ever tried a 1/48. With that said I ended up getting the "Essential Valks" from the line from my perspective. This includes both versions of the Low Viz valks, the VF-1J Stealth valk and stealth Super/Strike parts, the VF-1S Roy and a VF-1J Hikaru. I then bought all 3 of the GBP armor sets to go with the Low viz 2 (Cammo) and I slapped the urban cammo armor on the VF-1S and the TV armor on the VF-1J. Around the great fall of Yamato I ended up getting the chronicles Max TV scheme because I got a fantastic deal on it. If I could ever find the same kind of deal on a Kakizaki chronicles exclusive, I would buy that too. That would be the only other one I would need to finish the main TV cast. Personally, I think the 1/48's are less playable than the 1/60 V2's but they are great on display especially the fighter mode imo. my least favorite part about the 1/48's is the chicken hands, but if you can find quality "TV" hands that fixes that problem right up. In battroid the nose cone is too long and looks a little out of place. Overall though I would still recommend them if you have the space for them.

Well then buy a super Max then, they are pretty sweet. I guess adding the packs are a cheaper option if you missed out on getting a Max the first time around, but then you have the problem with the head not being right.

The virgin road is fine without packs imo, plus it was never on screen that way. I left packs off of mine, I mean who weaponizes a wedding?!?

Don't feel bad Gakken, one day I will get mine out the box and display it with the rest of my collection. First I need room/shelves though.

I was under the impression that this release would be in the color closer to the Yamato version instead of the old color that Bandai used on the first release. I hope I am right as I don't really need 2 in the same color. *Edit* It actually looks like it will be a darker olive color this time around.

Oh man, this looks good. Are you thinking of tackling the Ghost X9 also?
-
I hope not! Has anyone figured out if they are going to paint on the modex number or will they leave them off? I would prefer stickers or dry transfers if possible.

The last time the HI-Metal line was around, I chose to skip them as the cost was very close to a Yamato V2 VF-1 series toy.
