    Ok ,so while I was freaking out trying to get one of these @ CDJ my CC security check thing failed. Turns out the order still went through though even though it looked like it did not. In turn I learned this also with the Hi-Metal VF-1S which made me end up with 2 of those lol.

    I missed the VF-1S Hi-metal, I saw the button though on hobby search. By the time I got to the send order page it said sold out.

    I'm avoiding Amiami at all costs, they are a horrible shop.

    Yep mine cleared customs in SFO and is on the way up here to Seattle, my estimate is tomorrow but that depends on my local PO, they provide horrible service.

    This is what I tried to explain in a couple of earlier posts, thanks for sharing the pic and explaining it better than me lol. That gap from the side irks me, I don't understand why it is so wide.

    Hrmm, that seems fishy. I hope this is set at least a year or two back because if not, how would no one know that there was an outbreak on the east coast? Also we know that some of the group had traveled all the way from TX to Virginia, I think that is more than 5 states lol.

    I prefer how the shoulder armor looks on the YF-19 from Yamato/Arcadia better than the set on the advance. Does anyone have a pic to reference if they are supposed to stick that far off of the shoulder of the advance?

    Yes wallet rape this summer is and will be, but it does seem like the releases were really slow at the beginning of the year.

    Renton, I think he just actually transformed the legs correctly. They are designed like the Yamato VF-19's that had a mechanism to bring the legs up.

    Yeah I know right? I can't really resist the metal builds and caved on this one a long time ago. I thought I did not like it either but it grew on me an dI had to get one. I'm down for the red and blue frames too lol.

    I thought about getting a copy of the gold frame from Japan, but it looks like my BBTS order is slightly cheaper after shipping so I am sticking with that one.

    I agree Funky, I was looking at the pics from the Valkyries book and found that the light blue is the faded paint and the dark blue looks like the parts that did no fade. I mean I have never seen a plane fade to a darker color from salt water or weathering. I just did not want to spark the debate up again. But in that book there is a pic that clearly shows some very dark blue parts in the paint. *Edit* It is also the pic used for the box art on the Hasegawa kit. The promo shots of the kit built up is a darker blue, but is lighter than the Arcadia one though. I wonder what Shoji or Hidetaka have to say about it. I wish we had someone who could ask one of those fine gentlemen.
