I find the Tampo is good enough for me. I kinda feel like the VF-19A has too much, but as someone said in the VF-19 thread the VF-19A is like a Katoki version.

You do have to admit it is a little much though. I do like that they can do it, but maybe scale it back a little.

Technically the wings are not retractable but swappable as far as I know.

my expalnation was hard to understand lol. I will have to show it via pic in a later post, but if you look at the pic that shows all 3 versions in fighter mode from the side, Yamato, Bandai's and Arcadia's you will notice the gap I speak of. it's the part of the wing section that attaches to lower ankle section of the fighter. It looks like the gap that allows the wings to slide back and forth between both modes is larger.

OK, I went by the front door and found that they slipped a delivery notification under my door, but it does not list any tracking numbers... The only thing is my name and a date and they tried to deliver it. Damn I hate USPS lol. Another thing I have not heard mentioned about this toy is that from the side I notice that the gap at the rear of the plane that allows the wings to go in to highspeed or normal mode. It connects to the leg near the ankles. It looks a lot bigger than on the Arcadia 19.

I had decided mine will remain in fighter mode also once I saw the video that Bandai put out, it looked way too fiddly with all the small panels and folding parts as if it was over engineered. I am glad that someone is speaking about the toy and pointing out their nit picks, I am worried that some people tend to say it's perfect when we all know that these toys are rarely 100% perfect. I am glad that not everyone is a fanboy. I am not directing this at anyone and was not intended to offend anyone who may actually be a fanboy. So anyways, my local post office screwed me again, both of my units from CDJ and HLJ made it to my local post office in time to be delivered today, but they never made it on the truck. Then the aholes decide to mark the tracking as delivery notice left at door, but there is no delivery notice and the tracking says that it never went out for delivery. Now I will have to wait at least until Thursday to pick them both up. I guess it's not that big a deal but damn, a great way to ruin fast shipping service.

Looks like both of mine are going through SFO customs, if all goes smooth they should be here tomorrow.

Is it just me or does the side view remind you of the "dreadful" Yamato YF-19 gullet? And yeah the Gerwalk poses could be better. I hope it's not because of some weird range of motion limitation.

I woke up this morning to find my CDJ order has shipped, then while at work today HLJ took payment Can't wait to have one in hand to compare with my Arcadia's. A couple of things I am sure I don't like on the bandai is the gap in the rear and the hollow calves on the back of the leg. I think I also prefer Arcadia's chunkier look to the thin legs on the Bandai.

If you need to cancel an order on AE you can do it via your user panel. I have never had to send an e-mail to cancel an order although I have only ordered there once and cancelled it right away.

Anyone here have Helldivers? It is the only game I play on PS4, even though I have some of those "AAA" titles. The game is very fun and I am sure some of you here will love it.

I am still trying to figure out if the backpack will be diecast like the Yamato VF-19's/Arcadia YF-19. I think that will increase the durability during massive transformations, It also added a nice heft to the toys.

Congrats, man you just don't know what you are missing with it in the box. As soon as mine arrived when they originally went on sale it came straight out of the box, there is no way I am selling it

Kinda thinking about just running with one of this bird also. If I get around to it in time I may cancel the HLJ extra I got in on. Think I will leave this one in fighter mode.

I hope they copied Yamato/Arcadia and made the backpack in diecast. I can see it getting worked if made out of plastic and transformed a lot of times. I still have 2 on pre-order, but am not as excited as I was before I saw the video. The back of the leg looks pretty hollow and the transformation looks more complicated then it needs to be. Pray to the plastic gods that this one is made from a good batch of plastic, unlike the VF-171CF's.
