  1. So are they going to make a Jun custom too? Or do we have to resort to getting two of these to make Alto's 171 squad?

I ran across this site when I was searching for something, but I can't remember what I was searching for. I got a bad vibe from the site overall and I did not like the way they chose that misleading domain name.
  3. Yeah, cause in Japan they include the actual Blu-Ray laser in each disc. Anime is very expensive in Japan especially on Blu-Ray.

I hope the VF-1J will be available on release day, I missed out on the pre-order and feel nervous about it. Maybe it will be like the VF-19A, it has been easy to source after release.
  5. CDJ has 5 in stock atm http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/NEOGDS-130367
  6. They stay open for a long period of time and I have never been shorted by them. I think even the gold frame is still open if you missed it.
  7. David, Stop it. Stop it right now lol. I keep looking at it too. *Edit* I just checked out with a qty of 1. At least if I change my mind, it can be easily cancelled.
  8. Yep, short lived. I mean all it took was the pic of that doll and the receiver and the stickered up Yamato VF-19S. Anyways back on topic. I am also glad that I have 2 of both the Bandai and the Arcadia, I still think I prefer the Arcadia though as a toy. They both have issues though and things that can be nit picked to death over, but they do the job just fine for most of us if you are in one camp or the other. I'm in both btw, although I was strictly Yamato when the V1 Bandai 25 series was being released. I could not even fathom buying those toys. They looked very sad and just wrong on so many levels but that is what you get when Mr Gundam was working on the toy line. It's like Bandai was trying to punish the Macross fans with those toys for not putting Gundam first . It's almost like if Bandai had Mr.K and Mr.k had Bandai money he could make the perfect 19. I am pretty sure Bandai has the buying power to make these come in at a lower mfg cost over Arcadia with how much they run through the Chinese mfg plants because they have licenses for everything under the sun and toy in all ranges from low end all the way up to the top level. On the other hand if Arcadia had Bandai money and lower mfg cost we would also be in valk heaven, Arcadia would prob be in a position to sponsor a show and then get some exclusive rights to new valk designs. I think I would prefer the Arcadia scenario though, because at least then they would actually mold the parts in the right color instead of making the parts in the complete opposite color and then painting the part the right color. We would also benefit from not having to freak out on the pre-order and lose out on sleep over it. Arcadia could use a packaging specialists though with all the big boxes, and could use a good graphic designer to up their game on the box art . Sigh, we can all dream right?
  9. Still up @ Amiami, nows your chance...
  10. ^^ Looks like Shaorin is back
  11. I know right? Squad building is fun. In this case though Macross is my primary concern, although the Metal Builds are really nice toys.
  12. Nah, I am good with one. I only tend to get duplicates if it's a valk.

Hold on so is he talking about the VF100's line? I don't remember them releasing the Frontier stuff the first time around. If he means the VF100's line then I am I have heard nothing but horrible things about that line.
  14. Actually guys, BBTS is usually late to open up the pre-order by days or even a week if I remember correctly. They send out an e-mail that shows hot new items, the one that says Bandai in the topic is the best way to tell.
  15. The one I got from HLJ also had the tissue paper, and then it was shrink wrapped too. Guess which one stayed in the box?

They are both from totally different toy lines. The VF-1S Hi-Metal R line is 1/100 and the VF-25G belongs to the DX Chogokin line which is close to a 1/60 scale toy.
  17. I just picked mine up from the PO today. It is still in bubble wrap and the brown shipper box.

Well I have been in insomniac mode for a while now, but it finally caught up to me today. I feel like a useless lump of turd right about now

I'm on the west coast too, but I am always jacked up after pre-orders open up lol.
  20. Welcome aboard Hazuki! I also appreciate all that Yamato/Arcadia has done for the fans and also prefer their pre-order process over Bandai's.

Yeah, sometimes I think the same thing lol. I am soooo freaking tired today because I was not getting much sleep to begin with since Sunday, and then I forgot Tue was the pre-order night.
  22. I wish Bandai paid more attention to Aircraft details. I think it's a shame that they did not include a headrest for Isamu

Well Matt, you could move to Japan or somewhere in their local timezone, then it would always be at 4:00PM JST. Honestly I am glad we can even get any of this stuff at all, with HG ruining this franchise outside of Japan and all. It's a privilege and not a right for JP based web shops to even allow us to buy them. But on a side note, yes Bandai could possibly increase the supply of these toys.
