    Based on the screen shots, it looks largely like an up-rezzed SF4.

    You obviously don't understand how Skynet worked at the end of T3, or how radiation affects electronics.

    To be honest, at that point the entire look of Judgement Day should have changed. There's no way a device that relies on being matrixed across the planet is going to start irradiating large portions of it. That will ruin, at the very least, the fiber interconnecting it's own brain across the continents, and radiation tends to do very bad things to basic electrical components in general even when heavily shielded for space use (part of the reason why every portion of a spacecraft is done in triplicate.) LA likely would have still been in ruins but far less so as keeping the infrastructure of the world intact would have been preeminent to Skynet's survival.

    Given that the 1J head off of Max's 1J is a blue 1J head, yes. As the original heads go the 1J doesn't work on the 1A body, I'm assuming that would be true of a Macross The First version of the 1J as well.

    While that is true of my old 0 as well, the pic from Mr K's Twitter feed with the neck gap is also sitting on it's landing gear.

    Nope, I totally dig the 21/22 Gerwalk. My Max 22 stays in that mode most of the time. Off-hand snarkism... dumb people. Joking aside, that is a bad-ass pic. Where did you find it?

    Ugh, you DON'T have to reference every old line from every other previous movie.

    Is that on an older prototype? On both the old painted model and the pics from AmiAmi there isn't a neck gap like that in fighter mode at all and only a minor one in Gerwalk. Also note it doesn't appear the nose cone is pushed in all of the way.

    To be perfectly honest I don't believe that head would work on the 1A at all. I tried out the old 1J on my 1A and... it's off.

    Well in the article they did just say that during the reboot years they introduced Quantum because they didn't have the rights to use Spectre anymore but just last year that was all hashed out. Given at the end of Quantum Bond had semi-figured out a bit of the Quantum group and they knocked one of them off right at the end it's possible they would explain away Quantum by saying they re-organized themselves into a new group called Spectre. Or something similar. Or not at all, does it matter, James Bond has been six different guys anyway.

    Only if you think all Black Men are like that. Sadly, there are no scenes in Star Wars with Han or Luke looking as similarly disheveled/fearful so it's not like they could splice together that same scene with a white guy. It's just down to the unfortunate fact a black guy in Star Wars happens to have that look. Of course I also tend to miss racial implications due to long trails of logic, such as my previous sentences, and have little compulsion to think along those lines so...

    That sucks man. Dunno how widespread it is. Both my Hikaru and Max 1J's are fine but I don't ever transform them from Battroid and only rarely pose them so maybe there hasn't been enough wear.
