General TV & Streaming series thread
electric indigo replied to Tking22's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
It's not Fleabag season 3, but I just discovered "Crashing" on Netflix, Phoebe Waller-Bridge's debut as a writer, and it's hilarious. -
I did watch the first minutes of the series and it did nothing for me, but I love Redjuice's illustrations, and the figure is quite exquisite. Wait til I build her galaxy-zappin' superweapon. The eyes are decals (the days where I would have painted them are long gone), and the faded look is in the character's design. Is your disk for a Wing-y Gundam?

I was ready to leave Russian Doll after the 3rd episode because I wanted to punch Nadia so hard. BUT the story has some quite touching topics later on so I'm glad I sticked around. Sharlto Copley is in season 2, so it will be a ride. -
I've finished Hasegawa's Cordoba. It's great kit that would also look great in a 70s SF artist Chris Foss inspired scheme.

Proof that you just need a bit of talent to turn those old Imai figures into gold: -
According to Digitamin, it has round fingered hands as bonus parts. I like the colors.

I highly recommend the comic. It has many layers. -
All that matters from the film is Andy Probert's ultimate Enterprise design.

DMZ is one of my favorite comic series, but the approach from the trailer didn't look very promising. -
At least I found a translation of that Bandai letter in the comment section: Hobbysearch seems to be overreacting by pulling all Bandai items (Tamiya too, it seems) instead of limiting orders, but the may also not want to expose themselves on the ominous "parallel exports" front.

ARII love -
A new french edition of the manga was announced.

Yeah, HLJ needs to ditch their hamster-wheel driven servers. Hobbysearch's site has the far better user experinece – if you ignore mobile devices. I love their content and manual pics, it's easier to browse new items sorted by category, and to keep track of re-releases. You can still access their japanese content by deleting the "eng/" in the URL and you'll find all Bandai items.
