Thanks guys! No-Chang I decided not to attempt to light a $200+ kit for my first lighting attempt. However...my next project after the Falcon is complete is the reissue clear Enterprise D and I will be attempting to light that one!!!

Mac was AWESOME when I was growing up. I watched it religiously! I loved Murdock bad guy episodes and Jack Dalton was hilarious. The BEST part of the show...Mac could KNOCK out ANY mofo with like 1 punch! awesomenesss!

Finally got around to getting a cheap Red Beta Tlead/Tread whateverthehell you wanna call it. Got a low # Masterpiece (#433) off Amazon for $75 new in box. Couldn't pass it up...Red Beta's get NO love! ...so i panel lined and stickered him up tonight! Now....gotta track down a green one for cheap....doesn't look like it's gonna be easy either,,, If anybody's got one for sale...hit me up!

After an hour in traffic in 101 degree heat to FedEx and back...... As JasonC mentioned...it IS dark! Anybody else notice the odd spelling on the inside of the box??? I like it...if nothing else...because it represents a bird seen on screen for like 2 seconds and it's a $100+ toy with an animation error of where the kite logo is on every other Valk! Gotta LOVE Macross!

thanks for the advice...I'm just a messy airbrusher..i always spill or something..it never fails..I'm trying to get better. LOL. p.s..whoever designed the "paint cup" for Passche should be killed like Braveheart style...no lid on a little tiny cup that you have to move around full of paint...brilliant! -

I've tried future to gloss coat things before I do weathering, but I'm not quite sure I did it right. Should I thin it before I airbrush it? I just dumped it in the airbrush and sprayed...all that got me was a VERY sticky airbrush trigger and internal parts for like 3 months no matter how many times I cleaned it with windex OR paint thinner! thanks! I know the chemistry got altered somehow....it seemed like a good idea...guess not. better to remix each time I suppose and hope it matches!
