  1. New fast packs from HLJ. My first one in 1:60...very cool...now I want more!
  2. First time through transformation! (Thanks for the video Collection DX!) gotta say.....solid as a rock when everything locks together in battroid! This thing is sweet ! Pushing down the canopy/cockpit on mine was extremely terrifying however!!!
  3. First impressions out-of-the-box....this is Yamato's most detailed Valk I have seen to date. Feels good in hand. Good size and weight. Quality piece. Only minor nitpicks so far.... Nose gear does not lock into place like on the VF-1, and the pilot is too loose in the cockpit may have to glue him in or something. Here's some pics...
  4. yeeehh...cost of being a manager..had to do payroll for my company...oh well...need $$$ in bank to pay for stupid toy habit anyway! ...however!!! DONE now and just got home to discover I BEAT the FedEx truck! Now the waiting begins......
  5. Mine's on the FedEx truck out for delivery!!! And I'm stuck at work!! ARRRRRGGGGGHHH!!!!!
  6. I haven't yet talked myself into the McClaren....it is sooo cool though. The most I've dropped is on the Bugatti Veyron. And it is gorgeous!
  7. My Kai is like that. Damn near think I'm gonna break something every time I try to transform it it's so tight. But I would rather have it that way than loose!
  8. That pic rocks!!!
  9. Got around to the watching my bluray last night I got for xmas. Very impressive picture and sound quality. The letterbox to full screen IMAX shots still bug me like they did on Dark Night, but that's a small nitpick. The picture is, in my book, downright perfect. The sound is bonecrushing and subwoofer was asking for the day off today. As far as Bane's dialog....almost could understand every word. about 2 or 3 scenes I had to rewind and put the subtitles on. (and i normally don't ever have to do that considering the B&W center channel I have). All around very enjoyable though. Didn't get around to any extras yet, maybe today.
  10. looks like it "oozes coolness" to me!!! Can't wait!
  11. FedEx shipping update from HLJ says mine will be here 1/3/13 next Thursday. Guess that's not tooo bad for New Year's weekend and all.
  12. Shipping notice from HLJ received!!!
  13. WOOOWWWW!!!! A dad who designs AND MAKES his daugher custom lightsabers???!!!! FATHER OF THE YEAR AWARD RIGHT HERE PEOPLE! No need to look anywhere else!!! That's awesomeness!! The one Efx product I should have bought but didn't was the 1:1 Ashoka Tano saber they did.
  14. woke up to NO shipping notice yet from HLJ.....uhhhhgggg...now I'm sad.
  15. Finished this up today. It's one of the newer snap tight kits...not a great kit, but I think it came out okay. Painted with model master light grey and then gave it a serious wash with promodellers weathering dark dirt wash. Don't know why my iPad insists on flipping my pics!
  16. that one made me LOL outloud
  17. I think they all meant stickers sadly....BUT if they are waterslides you and I and a few others will be beside ourselves while everybody else will be screaming "no stickers, WTF!!"
  18. Got HLJ payment emails. Paid for my VF-4/ and my 1:60 super/strike parts. Paid for shipping as well. Should be on it's way SOON!
  19. Taken with new iPad camera..;-)
  20. Aoshima 1:48 Airwolf weathered toy version...toooo awesome for words! / 1:18 AutoArt Aston Martin V-12 Vantage/ Ipad 4 with retina display...ohh and some Yamato jet called a VF-4 something something should be coming soon...GOOD X-mas! Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays to all the MW guys and gals!
  21. omg omg omg omg omg omg omg ....can't......wait......must....wait....
  22. Yes. They were a very limited edition Resin Kit run made by our own "Captain America" here on MW. Think he only did about 15 sets.
  23. These were a very limited run made by Captain America in the midst of working on his "beast" Legioss. I believe he only made like 15 sets. Not sure if any are still available. Thanks for the compliments guys! The base is just a cheap $2.50 wood base from hobby lobby sprayed with textured Rust-Oleum Spray Paint called "Galaxy". It was the last can they had at Home Depot one day so I took a chance on it. Was going to go just gloss black, but I think the silver flake is a nice "starry look" touch. Just printed the earth pic off the web onto good photo paper on my Canon Inkjet and trimmed to fit. Didn't get it exactly perfect..might try again this weekend...yes I'm that OCD.
