woke up this morning and got one at AmiAmi through the link in Twitter. Took all of 20 seconds. Easy! I must say if it wasn't for this thread and Twitter, I wouldn't have had a clue this was happening. Maybe that was Bandai's plan to reduce preorder madness???

Don't know how all the guys around here who bitch and moan and bash Macross flashy and non military paint schemes can not be totally excited about this release...ohh wait...yes I do..this is MW. . I think it looks epic.

I'm on the other end of the scale, as the guy who spent COUNTLESS hours panel lining, trimming f-ing NO STEP and every other sticker's on all my Yamato Valks, I don't know if it's worth the money Arcadia wants, if you don't have that particular Valk, then hell yes, go for the premium version, no doubt, otherwise...I dunno if I could part with the cash for the premium finish. Now...if they were panel lined and slightly weathered???...that might be a whole other kettle of fish.

BLASPHEMY sir! Got mine from the post office a couple of hours ago, barely had time to open it, but ohh baby!!! She's a hefty bird!!! This is my first 31 and therefore...the BEST looking one!!! Pics after dinner is done! CD Japan, EMS shipping to TX, about 3-4 days, not counting Sunday.

FAVS -- Yamato 1/60 Ver2 VF-1 Elint Seeker and most other VF-1's (minus the ones with broken shoulder issue, which I luckily never encountered). Yamato 1/3000 DYRL SDF-1. Thank God I bought one back when they were released! Bandai Hi Metal R Monster/Glaug -- I mean come on!!! Who would have thought we would EVER get these! Hated -- Yamato VF-11B - Sorry, beautiful planes, froppy mess now. Bandai VF-171's -- just shoot me now Yamato YF-19 Double Nuts, love the paint scheme, but damn that thing looks fugly now.

I've gotten away from using Future through my airbrushes, it just doesn't work well for me. It gums up my airbrush to quickly, and is a pain, do you thin it, do you not thin it, blah blah blah.. Also, you have to let it cure for DAYS. I've been going with Tamiya TS Clear Spray cans lately, more $$$ but soooo much easier IMO. I know a lot of people swear by Future, and I really wanted to be on of them, but I for one like the Tamiya Clear spray cans much better. Rock solid layer that you can do pretty much anything you want to over it.
