Where are the Monsters on clearance or cheapest nowadays???

The ONLY TV SDF-1 model kit is the 1/5000 I built and the 1/8000 version which I have never actually seen. Your only other choice is the fake Hase version they released which is the DYRL version with the carriers changed I think.

I may be in the minority here, but I can't wait for the new Megs! I could NOT care less about transformation or gun mode..I'll prob do it once just so I can say I did it, but for me this guy is ALL about robot mode to put beside Soundwave, Starscream, Thundercraker and Skywarp!! -

Well... this kit was a battle worthy of Breetai... LOL.. but I'm very proud of how it came out. As many know this kit has been something I've wanted to do properly for some time since building the first one as a kid back in the 80s. There were many many setbacks, but I like the end result of all the hard work. I took some liberties with some things to add a bit of pop and detail to an otherwise kind of spartan kit. Enjoy the pics!

Today's plan... use leftover 1/72 Bandai Star Wars greeblies decals to add micro detail to the carriers and SDF-1!.. Stay tuned!

Sad to report one little tiny spec of white tampo came off my left wing symbol. Nothing to write home about as it is on the very edge.. and yes I was uber careful removing the plastic protector

picked mine up tonight from the local FedEx office very fast shipping as it says it only shipped from Japan on Tuesday and I have it tonight. Anyway just got it out of the box leaving it in fighter mode for now, beautiful looking bird. I'll try a transformation this weekend hopefully.
