Looks great! Got a half day off work today, so Mr. Arad is now ready for flight! Gloss coat, panel line wash, and a semi gloss sealer coat. Total time put in, about 2 hrs on the build and then another hour for clear coats and wash. I love these little Tomytec kits!

I have yet to attempt my Hasegawa 1/72 YF-21 or YF-19 and DO plan on looking at those past build thread from our friend wm cheng...if and when I ever get to those builds

Got my Arad 31 Fighter in yesterday from the HLJ. Picked SAL shipping because I really wanted out cheap and really didn't care how long it took...showed up in 10 days! WOW! . Makes me wonder whyyyy I've been paying for 2-4 day EMS and Fed-Ex on the big Valks..

i just woke up to this news..I'm heartbroken. He's from my home town. RIP sir. I'll be watching Aliens or Apollo 13 tonight. EDIT -- A year or so ago my audio visual company was doing a gig at a private fundraiser event which Mr. Paxton was present. He took time after the event to take pictures with each one of my crew there. He didn't have to, most celebrities don't give the tech crew the time of day. A true Texan, and a just all around good guy. Sadly I had left and missed out. Now I wish I had stayed.

Got off work early today and got some bench time in, 1/72 VF-31 today, goin for a low vis look, first step, Winter Grey. Looks good so far. It will stay in fighter mode.

Glad I bought and built the 3D kit made by a member here about a year or so ago. No way in hell I'd pay that.

Hmmmm....Battroid just looks....off..the shoulders are to high and the head is to low..and I'm nervous that the didn't show off all 3 modes. Not a lock purchase for me by a loooong way yet, especially after keeping up with the VF-2SS thread.

As cool as this is...weren't the Beagle's 1/10??? So if they did EVER happen to do a Yellow and Fuke wouldn't they be out of scale with the two Beagles? Which would mean I guess you would have to all 4 of the Riobots...assuming it makes it past the vaporware stage. Which in my book is a HUGE maybe with Mospeada stuff

Some good detail work put in on the SDF-1 today, if I'm not careful, this thing might turn out ok.... LOL.. but that's a long ways off as I consider this kit my "Eleanor".. (Gone in 60 seconds reference) ohh... and I got engaged last night... so it's been a hectic weekend... hahaha! Thought I would share with you guys. :-)

On my side of the road over here, my very poor sanding and painting skills have finally produced some form of results on the *cough (2nd) *cough SDF-1 nose and some other parts... trying a red acrylic panel line wash on the door of the carrier... never done this before... we'll see how it goes. Need a way to do very thin yellow and white wash lines with on the carriers, I can't mask lines that small...
