  1. They might, but one of the hallmarks of the Peanuts cartoons is that they DID use children for the voices. Personally I think it would be a big mistake not to continue doing so. If they do go with VAs then they most likely will get the best though.
  2. I don't care what it is, I'll watch it ASAP.
  3. They can't use any of the older voice actors any longer (other then snoopy and Woodstock) since they were always done by children - most likely they are not "voice" actors capable of sounding like their old selves. That said the original Charlie Brown voice might be free about this time... Peanuts films have been hit or miss over the years (the original two being great and the others from OK to dreadful) so hopefully this is a good one.
  4. I have to say they are terrible. Seams that you could stick a coin in are not a good sign.
  5. If this do this then maybe there is a chance for the Robotech movie after all.
  6. Miniatures are meant to be handled, A LOT, unlike models which are meant to be put together and admired but not moved around a lot. Lots of parts on a miniature is going to cause it to break very quickly when in use.
  7. I used to give Arnie a pass and see his movies on release, and then came "End of Days" and "The Sixth Day". So not ALL Arnie movies are worth seeing. I sure hope this one is though! The Last Stand was a decent movie so I have hope.
  8. After Earth was not that bad, certainly not great but not the stinker it has been made out to be. What people really seem to be upset with is the Nepotism involved. To quote the famous puppet show. Henry Fonda - Millions of actors say nepotism is a terrible problem in this industry. Report - Which actors would that be. Fonda - My family...
  9. Syfy had a blurb about the movie and it sounds interesting. Part of it takes place in 84, another part in the early nineties, and a third part in 2003 or so. From the description the film ties together the first three movies. The one quote I remember from the article was "who is going to play 'Bill Paxton'"?
  10. Put me down for the boring episode crowd, except for the ending - that was good. Parts of the episode were OK, when Daryl was talking for instance.
  11. The roar sounded better this time, don't know why. Syfy had a trailer posted a couple days ago as well and it sounded more like a whimper.
  12. HAVE to comment on the ad, AWESOME!!! Now to finagle a way into getting out to LA October 4th
  13. That looks very nice. Hopefully the Rebels series will keep the best part of CW while dumping the cheesy stuff. The "political" episodes in CW are mind-numblingly terrible while the Clone episodes are usually very good.
  14. The Lego version I would want to see, the live action one I saw a trailer for - not even a rental.
  15. Leo might work on RT, if it EVER gets going, but to have not worked on Star Wars (TODAY, that film is shooting in the next couple of months) so he could be in RT (which has NO shooting schedule yet) is beyond unbelievable.
  16. I had NO interest in seeing a movie about a Raccoon from a comic book, till this trailer. If the idea was to get the interest of those who have no idea what the source material is then it worked.
  17. Really par for the course over there, a recent post said that Pacific Rim was simply a way to test the waters for the LAM...
  18. Another reboot? The last one was awesome. (some did not like the CGI of the characters but I did not mind and the story was far better done the older one). I'll still watch this one of course, what we really need is a Black Magic M-66 remake, although the original for that is pretty hard to beat too.
  19. Looks like they are trying to kill the live action Akira (if this guy gets it then it is DOA at any rate). http://www.blastr.com/2014-2-10/new-akira-director-promises-big-changes-two-dimensional-anime-version Next thing you know they will let Paul Verhoeven direct a movie version of Starship Troopers...
  20. This is coming to the local Imax theater on February 28th, if anyone wants to see you may want to check your local Imax theater schedule to see if it is coming to your area as well.
  21. I loved that costume. At least you knew he was the Doctor. Peter Davison's took a while to grow on me though.
  22. The problem is that although they most likely would not win that would not stop them from suing.
  23. The new Who costumes have been bland but that one takes it to a whole new level of bland. He might as well be working in an office.
  24. (never saw a topic on this before so starting this one). Hopefully this is of the same caliber as 12 Monkeys and Brazil, Terry Gilliam at his best is some of the best scifi on the screen. http://www.blastr.com/2014-1-27/new-trailer-pops-terry-gilliams-latest-crazy-sci-fi-movie
