  1. That's not Bruce Banner. Look at the posters, it's clearly Julian Assange! Graham
  2. I wonder if it is by Tenjin. Graham
  3. Maybe HK got all the renewal VF-25F then. When it was first released you could barely move without tripping over the things. Well, not quite that bad, but nearly........LOL!
  4. Regarding retail sale in Hong Kong: For those unlucky peoiple like me, who didn't pre-order. the YF-29 first issue was only available in a few stores in HK, such as Animate and sold out almost immeadiately. When the VF-25F renewal was lauched, it was widely available in large quantities in a great many toy and hobby stores initially at or near Japanese retail price and sat on shelves for several moths after release. It is only recently that it is starting to become a bit harder to find and those shops that have remaining stock have bumped up the price. It seems a smaller quantity of the VF-25S Renewal was imported into Hong Kong and fewer stores carried it. Those that did charged a price much higher than the Japanese recommended retail price. 5. What's a "Bieber"? Isn't that some sort of STD........LOL! Graham
  6. As opposed to the evil American Steve Jobs.....LOL Graham
  7. Actually, I think Macross is one of the few mecha animes where the mecha (VFs) actually look good in CG. Graham
  8. The Red Bull air races are extremely popular and great fun to watch. Last time I was back in UK, they seemed to be on TV really frequently. Graham
  9. I just hope we don't have to jump through so many hoops when/if the cannon fodder VF-171 is released Graham
  10. Absolutely beautiful! Wish we had toys that looked like that. The greenie has always been the best looking of the bunch IMO. Unlike, Macross, I can never remember the official model numbers of the mecha in Mospeada, so I just call the Legioss's red, blue and greenie Graham
  11. No, but when the pilot turns evil, he uses the Gundam's finger to twirl the mustache............really! (No, just kidding). Graham
  12. I've ordered from Anime-Export before, they are safe and reliable. The site probably timed out cus of all the people (like myself), hitting F5 all morning..........LOL! Graham
  13. Yep, I just snagged one on Anime-Export. Graham
  14. Sigh.....not Bandai la! Now you are deliberately gonna confuse people who don't know better and probably the next few pages are gonna be filled with silly questions n comments while the confusion you have sown is cleared up Graham
  15. Great new pics of the VF-171EX Alto version. Although it's difficult to tell for certain, it looks like only one hard point on the wing, whereas it should have three. But being as the view of the wing is partially blocked by the battroid's body, I may be wrong. Anyway, I'll be glad for even one hardpoint, although at least two would be better. Let's hope Bandai gets the connection nice and tight first try, as it took Yamato several years to get nice tight hardpoints on their toys. Remember the SV-51, where the missiles ffall of if you glance at them wrong. And on the new pics, you can see the rear landing gear door position is confirmed. If they do produce the Armoured Pack, there is a twin-thruster sitting right on top of where the rear landing gear bay is. Wonder how they are gonna handle that? Perhaps with Armoured Packs fitted, the VF-171EX is only supposed to launch in gerwalk or battroid mode, or from a launch arm, so no need for the landing gear? Graham
  16. Reminds me of a double-headed ratchet spanner.........LOL! Graham
  17. cough.........err.......VF-1.Graham
  18. Actually, to be fair to Bandai, they did release a heck of a lot of the renewal version VF-25F Alto and for months after release, many shops here in Hong Kong had multiples still sitting on shelves. It's only recently that stock has started to dry up a bit, but they can still be found. The VF-25S renewal version was obviously released in smaller quantities, but can still be found, although at a much inflated price. The YF-29 is another story altogether though and Bandai's first release was pitifully small. I have a feeling the VF-171EX is going to be a big seller for Bandai and popular with fans, so let's hope they release sufficient quantities this time round. Graham
  19. It's actually pretty hideous IMO. I far prefer the designs from the orginal movie. And I bet it can't turn for crap. Graham
  20. I've always thought carrying a few large screwdrivers would be a good close in latest ditch anti-zombie weapon. Graham
  21. Wings are the same shape between the S And D.
  22. Never seen any Yamato, so put me in the 'don't care' category. Graham
  23. Firstly it's gotta be someting reliable. If it don't go bang everytime I pull the trigger, it's of no use. Secondly, its gotta have sufficient power to do enough damage to the zombie's brain to put them down with one shot. I have my doubts that a .22LR would always do enough damage to put down a zombie reliably even with a headshot. Thirdly, it should be high capacity. If I'm swarmed by zombies I wanna have enough ammo in the gun, so that I don't have to worry about reloading often. Fouthly, it should preferably be something which can be silenced. For a handgun, I'd go with a high capacity 9mm, probably a Glock 17 or Glock 19 as I shot Glocks for years in IPSC and they are reliable, accurate and extremely durable. It would be fitted with night sights (meprolights or trijicons) and mount a light/laser combo, probably an Insight M6. 9mm ammo is pretty common as well. For a long gun, probably some sort of shorty M4 with an Aimpoint or Eotech. I love the HK 417, but really any of the xzillions of brands of M4 clones would serve. While I love shotguns and large calibre revolvers, they are just too low capacity and too slow to reload. Graham
  24. Yes, the metal rear landing gear is supposed to be glued to the inside of the plastic rear landing gear bay door, but seems like CM's uses insufficient glue. I already had one come off, so I just super glued it back on. Graham
