Hopefully, it's not limited to Japan only. Graham

Yes, that may well be, but it's still considered a treasonable offence in the UK to pronounce the language of the ancient enemy correctly! Remember Agincourt!......Mwahaha

Received my Alto Super Parts from Tokyo Hunter (Save), yesterday. Here’s my initial musings: I’ve only put them on in fighter mode so far, as that’s the mode I prefer for most of my VFs. I think they look great. Paint application is first class and the tampo printing is really well done. If a few parts are painted the wrong colour, I didn’t notice and don’t really care to be honest. If it was a VF with a simpler colour scheme like the VF-17 or VF-19, any mistakes would stand out, but on the VF-25F as there’s so many coloured areas, it’s not really noticeable (at least to me). I love that all the thrusters are on ball joints and can be individually moved, even the smaller maneuvering thrusters, that’s a great touch. Several people have complained that the hip armour falls off easily. Well, I don’t know about Battroid or Gerwalk mode, as I haven’t tried those modes yet, but certainly in Fighter mode, the hip armour attaches very securely and you can actually hear it click into place. I was actually very impressed by how easily and securely all the armour attaches in Fighter mode. The only minor difficulty I had was attaching the wing packs as it took me a while to figure out how to slide them on correctly. My only minor complaint is that the missile hatches have a tendency to pop off when you try to open them, unless you are very careful. All in all, great job Bandai! Get’s a 9/10 from me. Graham

There's only a few reported cases of the VF-19 joint popping apart and this only seems to happen when the ankle joint is deliberately forced past it’s range of motion limit. Graham

I thought there was only something shown mid-credits, not at the end of the credits? Here in Hong Kong, we had the mid-credit sequence. Graham

Damn, hate freemium games, always need to sepnd so much real cash to buy upgrades, if you actually want to progress in the game. Would rather just pay a one-off fee and be done. Graham Well, the official website does show an image of the VF-25F, so I guess there will be Frontier content. I hope it's not just only available in Japan though. And I hope they leave out that academy type crap they jammed into MTF. I just wanna fly around in VFs and blow crap up, not go through so crappy school simulator. Graham

If a full Macross game is released, whether it be on the PS3, Vita or whatever Sony's next-gen console will be called, I truely hope they stay away from DLC. Even though I don't play console games at the moment and stopped several years ago, I'd pick up a new console to be able to play a full Macross game. However, the very concept of DLC fils me with horror. Graham

I quite enjoy Fringe, but as it shows quite later here (around 11pm) and I watch it on my bedroom TV, I usually fall asleep half way through each episode, so I haven't been able to watch a full episode in ages........hahaha! Not the show's fault, it really is quite good, rather my bed is too comfortable. Unfortunately, no working DVR at the moment and I can't be assed to download it. Graham

To book collectors, need help tracking down Macross 7 stuff
Graham replied to Mr March's topic in Movies and TV Series
I have all or nearly all the Macross 7 art books. Will try to look through in the next few days. Going out now. Graham -
Haha, that's you is it. I didn't know. If I'd known, Id have placed more orders through you. Anyway, very happy to see the missiles are painted this time around. Graham

I think it's time for V2 1/60 YF-21 and V2 1/60 VF-22S
Graham replied to Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0's topic in Toys
I just keep my VF-22 and YF-21 permanently in fighter mode, (a) because it's my favorite mode, (b), it's a beautiful looking plane, ©, cus transformation is a pain in the ass (d), cus battroid mode does look kinda sucky. Graham Can say there are no plans from Yamato for a renewal version of the YF-21/VF-22 at the moment. Graham -

Dropped them, had them fall off shelves, thrown them at walls, hit them with a rolling pin (well, that was my son actually when he was 3), but I've never sat on them. Graham

I had a dream last night that my VF-171EX arrived at the same time as the Yamato VF-17D. It was sweet unboxing them together. Graham
