  1. Payment for EMS shipping sent to Anime Export and already received shipping notice that it's shipped Graham
  2. What's a Master Grade Rex? ...............just kidding Graham
  3. The news on the main page mentions, mentions that following the websight link takes you to a registration page for the game. Well, I didn't find any registration page. I found a QR code, which I scanned with my phone, which took me to the publishers site, but again, I didn't see any egistration for the Macross game. Graham
  4. I also just received an email from Anime Export that my order is in stock and ready to ship
  5. Haha, true! Despite our best fanboy wish, the girl's just aint attracted by the long nosecones. Graham
  6. Cool, photo etched inner frame. Graham
  7. Somehow, I read that as "anti Viagra gear" LOL! Graham
  8. I dunno, somehow I just prefer the original TV amimation, over this new version. Somehow the new footage just looks off. Can't put my finger on it, but it just looks wrong somehow. Graham
  9. Think of it kinda like a 'social disease' Graham
  10. That's true, I forgot about those. Graham While the Master Files are nice books, I don't think they are considered canon, are they? Graham
  11. As the VF-171EX comes with functioning hardpoints on the wings, I wonder if some time later, Bandai will release a version 2.5 of the VF-25 with the wing hard points added. Mind you in the TV series and movies, I think we never see the VF-25 carrying missiles on the wings. IIRC, the only place we ever see the VF-25 with wing-mounted missiles is in the PS3 games. Graham
  12. It would make things nice and tidy if the hands could be stored in the underside of the stand, when not in use. Graham
  13. Actually, there is a lot of BGM never released. I'd love a CD of all the BGM. Graham
  14. Still struggling to get through the DVD. About halfway through. Loved the John Carter books as a kid, but the movie just changes too much for the worse and many of the visuals are not at all like I always imagined them. Graham
  15. I really wish the movie would follow the comic uniform and helmet, as Planet Replicas have shown they can make make a fantastic looking version that is faithful to the comic and with a helmet that does not look too large unlike the movie helmet. And with 35 years of comic backstory to draw from, I would have loved to see one of the Dredd mega-epics make it into film, such as The Cursed Earth, The Judge Child Quest, The Pit, Necropolis, Apocalypse War, Day of Chaos etc, etc., rather than this very small scale story they have come up with. The only actor who should really play and voice Dredd is a younger Clint Eastwood, unfortunately he's a bit too old now. Still, they can do wonders with CGI. I really think Dredd would work much better as an ultraviolent anime type series, rather than a live action movie. There would be fewer limitations caused by lack of budget then. And for you American's who's only exposure to Dredd was that grud-awful Stallone movie, go read some of the above-mentioned graphic novels. Graham (Proudly reading Judge Dredd/2000AD since 1977)
  16. I haven't played Teken in years, used to enjoy it. Graham
  17. Saw the movie yesterday and loved it. Planning to go see it a second time and will definitely buy the DVD when it's out. Given how adept the Engineers (Space Jockeys) are at genetic/biological engineering, I didn't find anything in Prometheus that obviously contradicted anything in Alien or Aliens. The way I look at it, they have probably created many different types of biological weapons, which all evolve differently (or not). Anyway, great movie. Best movie I've seen since Inception. My only complaint, it was too short. Graham
  18. Well said. Graham
  19. Kinda disappointed no M7 PS3 game included though That woulda finally made me cave in and buy a PS3. Graham
  20. VF-11B/C is worse in that regard. The VF-4 looks stunning so far. Graham
  21. Can't remember their names, but my son just got two more of the Vortex blasters for his birthday as presents from his classmates. The pump action rifle with the 10rd magazines and the single disc pistol. We already had the 5-shot pistol (actually it's 6 shot if you chamber a disc and then load one more), so now we have 3 vortex guns Graham
  22. The last modern animes to attract me enough to watch them were Macross Frontier (duh!), Black Lagoon, Sky Crawlers and Gundam Unicorn. Apart from those titles, I have absolutely no interest in any modern anime, especially recent TV series. Maybe I'm just getting too old (43) and my tastes are changing, but I just can't stomach what I've seen of modern anime. Quite happy to rewatch the 80s' classics though and anything Macross. Graham
  23. May rent on DVD later. Never a big DC and Batman fan. Saw the first two Nolan Batman movies at the cinema with friends, but to be honest, was not that impressed. Saving my cinema budget for Expendables 2 instead. Graham
  24. Finally have time to watch this at the cinema tomorrow. More than a week later than I planned, but oh well. Graham
  25. Beautiful work, but I cant help thinking a black horizontal stipe on the middle of the lower leg and a black horizontal stripe on the forward fuselage/nose terminating in a point would have made it look so much better and more Focker-ish. Graham
