Where's Eddie and Ray when we need them..?

That sounds as stupid as removing Kate Kane as the lead in the show about her as Batwoman! As said by others, prequels about him have been done! Do they not realize there is a whole EU that still exists?

Have you thought of buying a Cricut? If the plastic sheet is thin enough, it may be able to do it.

@Lt. Z0mBe Real cool looking AT-ST! I like the additions and the paint and weathering look great.

The weapons included jump the price up too much (almost), and now it seems like they are not selling the original boxing in order to bank more.
-
More manufactures making them the merrier! Maybe they'll even make their own VF-4 and it'll more affordable than the Wave one, seeing how I can't find their earlier boxing without the full weapons set included.

All things NASA & SpaceX. Past, Present & Future.

I was in first grade when Challenger happened. I was walking past the school office and I can still here some voice on the TV in there talking about maybe seeing a parachute. Anyway, it is great seeing us putting our own people back into space. We were paying a lot for the Russians to taxi us around, and now we finally got our own hot rod again. Great job Musk and SpaceX!! Here's to hoping the push stays on and we do go back to the Moon and beyond, and please do it before I die!! -
Justice League, available now & Snyder Cut on HBO Max in 2021
Thom replied to azrael's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
On the one hand, Cavil is a great Superman, but it would not be central roles. On the other, it reads like his future cameo projects is putting a hold on the Supergirl movie. Doesn't seem like good enough of a trade-off.... -
Incredible looking model! But what I would love most would be just the Battle carrier at the nose! Man, I would love for Hasegawa or Bandai to kit that.

The tonal variations and changes between Whedon's Travesty and the Snyder Style are readly apparent. But still, it is something not even done yet. I'm hopeful we'll see an improvement in all areas compared to what we got initially, but heck, even if all we get is better CG for Superman's lip, that would be a great improvement! -
Actually, that reminds me of Xena. Lucy Lawless was injured during a horse stunt and couldn't do almost an entire season. They ended up 'transferring' her spirit into one of her main enemies, Callisto. It actually worked out pretty good, as the actress was great as both the insane baddie and the heroic Xena.

Pengbuzz that is awesome. It is bringing back some hazy, childhood memories! Lovely job on that Valk! Love that shape.

Could be pay, or maybe the rough schedule coupled with the injury. At the time she was having trouble feeling her arms and there was the possibility of facial paralysis, and I wouldn't be surprised if anyone got a little shy about all the stunts if that could happen again.

Shocked when I heard that. I was liking her in the role and IMO the show was getting better compared to the premier. Currently, I think it is one of the better put-together CW shows. I usually have less 'what the?' when the credits start to role. A fellow poster on SuperHeroHype suggested that Rachel Skarsten take over the starring role, playing both Rose and Alice as the actual twins they were in the comic. But, the production team is once more pushing for another LGBT actress, so probably no. Shame because I think she could do it. Be interesting to see where they go from here and how much is changed when they get the new lead. I would hope they would change Gotham to a grittier look, something similar to how the Titans portrayed the city. They should also get her the Batmobile, a slightly better costume, play the theme music on something other than a synthesizer - and maybe get rid of Sophie...

Some great work on that Super B! I just ordered the Revell version, and would hope to do half as good as what I am seeing here!

@Dobber Some great looking B-Wings. Esp love the orange one!

I love your spit-balling there, as that - unfortunately - shows more thought in a few minutes than they did during all the months of preproduction. Planning, planning and planning... As in not enough of it. I liked the movies, at least TFA and TRoS, but it is only like and not love. Seeing TRoS after TLJ is like looking at two different movie arcs, showing just how far one director went opposite the other. Though I like TRoS more, I think it would have been better if JJ had not resurrected the Emperor, which feels like a desperate grab at a fraying thread, and built upon TLJ while going back to the 'magic boxes' he left in TFA. The only real way of bringing Palpy back would be to have TLJ actually having shown he was on the rise again, rather then blurbing it in the opening crawl of TRoS. They should have dropped Palpatine entirely rather then tying to cram two movies worth into the final of the trilogy. Which means that they should have planned a full arc from the start. Instead, they almost treated it like it was an anthology. A little too late to change anything now though. All is done.

Here's a hint. Two are grabbers, and one is a scooper... I'll be in for another go with John Spartan! I don't know if I'd call it a 'guilty' pleasure or not, but the first was a fun ride.
