See, that I would have been okay with that. It would have allowed Geralt and Yennifer to be introduced and fleshed out without any time-jump confusions. Both are very good characters who can definitely carry their weight, as well as the first half of the season. The character of Ciri would have been introduced in a more round-about fashion, such as through the wedding ceremony and the Surprise, and then could have been shown in small snippets as she was growing. But of course not really being 'there' until the climactic fall of Cintra in the middle of the season, something that could have been really built up to become far more dramatic than it ended up being. Then once she is there and in character, the focus shifts more to her and Geralt. Or they could have just time-stamped the scenes whenever they switched eras...

"We don't see you." "Look down..." Must have been an incredible sight to see in person.

I didn't think so at first, but yeah me thinks that is right. Not only the fishtail under the rudder but also the straight wings and the contra-props.

Good points, but when they start numbering the ideas in order of importance rather than what was more likely just being called out and written up on the fly, then I'd start to be worried.

Just finished binging this... in three hours... I liked it a lot! But why the heck were the episodes so freaking short?! And that last episode... Jeeze!

I'm surprised with people dumping on it so early. It is literally just the start, before any sanding or polishing is done. You almost literally throw ideas onto the wall and see what sticks. Nothing is ever perfect right from the start, nor should it be expected to be so. Give them time to even make something before we start telling them it's garbage.

Taking the precautions they are, and us I guess, means that when a real pandemic shows up we hopefully won't be totally fukked.

That's a shame.. I miss the days when it was spelled SciFi...

Here's my current build, the USS Sprite, NCC-1828. Set post TOS but pre-TMP, she is a Hopper class frigate, kitbashed from the /2500 Shenzhou and Enterprise kits. Her revised scale is 1/1000.

I recall those lifting body demonstrators from a while back. Though I think then, what killed it was the cost of rebuilding most existing airports to fit the unique shape. (?) They are currently designed to handle lean body shapes.

Try the Ascension class nacelles for sale from Federation Models. Based on the Refit but with a slightly different configuration on top and the front grill area. They have two different sizes for sale, both the 1/537 and for the 1/1000. The 1/537 Refit is stated at being about 22 inches long overall, so they may be a little oversized.(?) That is a sweet backdate to the design! Or would that be fore-date..?- 924 replies

Yeah, I was wondering about that wet road... As to the suit, I think it looks good. Could use some 'tweaking' but overall not bad.

As a villain I thought Sam was very well done. Desperate. Unhinged. Out of his depth and starting from a position of victim. And yes,

I am NOT okay with waiting two weeks to see I Am Not Okay WIth This! That looks like fun. I just hope it really is and not just a well done trailer. As to Locke and Key, it was really good. Well worth a binging, although...

Real nice work on the lighting. That's going to look great.

We are also shown that she was highly trained, so they didn't skimp on that. But yes, she was also one of the heroes so plot armor does rear its head.

Some real beauty shots of that F-22- I mean J-31! Nice work on the cockpit glass. Did you sand it in place or before it was put in.?

Definitely does take more than a pep talk to shoot a gun straight. As to the rest, we don't know what kind of training Dani had between 2020 and 2040, but it was clear she was going up against a few scavengers (to put a 'nice' term on them) who didn't know how to fight. I do agree that having a small women taking down several larger men needs to be shown as being done by the application of skill. Utilizing as staff or other kind of bludgeon would have been good. Other than that, I'll put it down to fantasy and leave it there.
