  1. The hope is alive, just concerns me that Esmail is a fan of Moore's take on the show... Really hoping a little more hope and heart get put into it and that it isn't a race to see who could be the worst bastage. Also hoping for more steady cam and a finale that doesn't end with everyone wandering off into the woods.
  2. My father is into it more than I am, but Draco has been destroyed... Luckily the only injury was a broken fingernail. About Draco And about the loss of Draco...
  3. And then Skynet and the Resistance have to join forces in order to save the entire universe!
  4. Maybe the next update will be HG declaring bankruptcy...
  5. Man, love that Zentradi dreadnought! Looks like a good scale with that SDF-1 too.
  6. Oh this thread has popped up again. Neat.
  7. I too like the way Genesys played with the evolving timeline scenario. For the most part I liked it (especially Emilia Clark!), except for turning John into just another Terminator and the little after credit scene. I tend to turn it off before that aires and just view it as being set in an alternate universe.
  8. Nice SDF!
  9. 2202 wasn't as good as 2199. The visuals were amazing though. Really hoping 2205 is at least equal to the first season. At the moment, I'm just hoping a new season will uncork Bandai's Space Battleship Yamato model line. And I mean 1/1000 and 1/72, not the tiny mechacolle stuff.
  10. As I recall the main canon of the Frontier is a gun-ship that can operate independently.
  11. One of the big failing is the lack of knowledge about the rest of the galaxy. All we are shown is the heroes POV, which leads to these big gaping holes in the back story that we are left to theorize about. There were some deleted scenes between General Leia and the woman front and center when Hosnian Prime was blowed up, and I imagine we may have had some explanation of galactic politics there, but it was nicely cut and left to fall to the cutting room floor. You know, cause the general movie audience would get too bored or confused with too much information...
  12. I would have much rather preferred this than the stupid battery idea. And it's more stupid for the 'studio' to not understand that general audiences could grasp that the humans in the movie were being used basically as extra RAM space or organic USBs.
  13. That would look cool as a starship too!
  14. Deep dives sometimes only bring up more questions that have no answers... Such as why didn't the Machines just lobotomize everyone when the first Matrix Paradise failed? Can't rebel without higher brain functions.
  15. Simple, but lovely and quite effective.
  16. Shows the short-sightedness of the 'bottom line' way of thinking. Watch any reaction clip where Spiderman shows back up on screen, hear the reaction from the audience about a much-beloved character - and then kick him out...
  17. That's the way I see it. I may hope that a 4th would solve the ills of the middle pair, but it is only a slim hope. I'll have to wait and see what they come up.
  18. The first Matrix was the best. The sequels were alright, but really only worth one watch for me, and that's mostly because Don't see how they can undo that, so they'll either be in flashbacks or clones.
