  2. Glad to see you're still working on stuff.
  3. Most of the stock problems are just the effects of bandai's strategy to feed scalpers rather than customers. Even japanese people take swings at bandai for eternal stock shortage and scalper problems every chance they get. Yet bandai still focuses on jumping between small batch reprints, spam new series and new designs nobody asked for without fulfulling demand, spam pbandai limited runs, etc. They do everything in their power to create stock shortage and raise the value of scalping. Then they blockade cross region retail at the expense of regions with bad distro and local pricing, in the name of combating scalping. But there is no legitimate logic to it, because in reality, they are just giving more power to scalpers by giving them exclusive rights to peddle merchandize between regions. They singlehandedly built the scalper empire, and they will do everything they can to continue to fatten it. So it's not really an HLJ issue IMO, other than the fact that they are the last one allowed to do cross region retail, so all the symptoms are showing through them. It's just bandai totally not secretly having back channel arrangements or managing the scalper network themselves πŸ˜‰, and totally putting in all their efforts to stop the scalper industryπŸ˜‰, that they totally didn't have a hand in birthing πŸ˜‰, and cutting out all the distro and retailers for retail equivalent pricing through p-bandai isn't just another step in their strategy πŸ˜‰. I totally don't think every individual scalper and scalping retailer is just an undercover bandai staff 😁 Its not going to improve because bandai's priorities are as suspicious as the consistent quality and QC issues of their DX/Metal Build/tamashii lines. Just another thing that even japanese people are openly dunking on them for, and they don't care. Their games also have some of the most heinous DLC schemes, despite people forgetting that is a thing between every release. Bandai is run by corporate vampires, so things can only get worse.

  5. Impulse looks good. I think I am fine with the three (?!?) main variants out of which I like the Sword Impulse the best. A mostly red and white Gundam just does it for me. I’m still sad we never got the red MB Seven Sword and I hope someday we will get an MB Build/Try Burning Gundam. Another question. How many rounds of preorders were there for the MB God Gundam and what were/are the release dates. I am only aware of the first batch for the August 2025 release (the one with the shoulder paint issue).
  6. I recently updated my Anime book, Manga & trading card collection with a new bookcase. My collection is mostly Macross the rest is Genesis Climber Mospeada Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross Super Dimension Century Orguss Space Batteship Yamato Megazone 23 Area 88 Robotech I moved alot of my Manga to the new bookcase to fill empty space. My Manga was chronologically organized with my Anime DVD's along withe my Macross video games, post card & sticker books Anime novels & Robotech novels.
  7. Wave FOUR? They're still taking pre-orders for the first wave, and that was announced over a year ago... πŸ™„ Heck, BBTS listings still have a "Prototype Images Disclaimer" attached, since we don't even know what the production figures will look like. Still, Star Trek has always embraced an optimistic view of the future, so I suppose it's on-brand for Nacelle to keep forging ahead and hope for the best. πŸ˜…
  8. I'm just waiting around for them to get to more of the Batwing designs, personally. I never really cared for any of the designs past the classic 89, which they nailed pretty well. I'd really love to see a Forever or TAS Batwing in the same rough scale as that newer Forever Batmobile though. Shame they couldn't make the 89 Batwing to the same standard though. It really needs a redesign to bulk up the body and streamline the cockpit, probably using something closer to the UCS A-Wing, or even the old TV Batmobile canopies.
  9. Hopefully into a modern age of detailed sculpts and articulation, unlike the vast majority of 5POA retro crap that continues to dominate the 3.75 scale. πŸ˜’
  10. I started this about 7-8 years ago. As I was cleaning out stuff to sell, I saw it and totally forgot I had even started it. Nevertheless, I just printed some parts for replacing. I gave other major things to do, but the work has begun.
  11. I share your affliction! I lament my near lack of display space, as the toys keep coming and I find I need be ever more judicious with my purchases, taking both quantity and size into account. Toys are the nexus of my life, and it stings a bit to have to scale back b/c I'm running out of room in my house for them all.
  12. I think 1/55 Armored Valkyrie will be next. 😁
  13. Excellent poses and pics!
  14. I still haven't taken my DX YF-21 or YF-19 out of their boxes but I made sure that both were in good condition. I need to take them out when I get a chance. I have too many toys.
  15. I agree for the most part. Really expected more and didn’t even realize that this was the last episode. I was kinda ok with the show until I heard that.
  16. Of the three Batmobiles, the BvS is my favorite design and, IMHO, the worst execution among the three sets. I think the designers did a far better job capturing the B&R and The Batman Batmobiles. I'll still get the BvS and The Batman sets, but I think I prefer the original BvS Batmobile set (76045) they released in 2016. This new set has a lot more sculpting, but after consulting my BvS Tech Manual which discusses the development of the movie's various props, with all the parts at their disposal, being a collector of the Speed Champions line, and having looked at a few MOCs, I just don't feel like they captured the car very well, or at least not as well as I would have expected, especially given what they've accomplished with the SC line. Too, in an interview, the designers discussed eschewing the OG two-part canopy elements in preference of just using the regular one piece curved windshield. Personally, I'd have rather they used the two-piece canopy which was more authentic and designed specifically for this Batmobile. Obviously, the old set is simplified, but I think it captures the shaping better than the new set. YMMV. Since they seem to be cranking out more and more media related Batmobiles, I'm hoping there's an Arkham Asylum Batmobile in the works and that they make it every bit as excellent as 2021's Tumbler set (76239). Furthermore, I hope they put every ounce of effort into imbuing it with all of its functions and details. That would make for an extraordinarily fun model to build and play with. I never cared for the Clooneymobile, and honestly, this set isn't selling it to me, either. OTOH, it might make for a good parts set. FWIW, I think the designers did a good capture of the overall look. The car itself was just never to my taste.
  17. The new deals with hg came up a while after the Bandai 1/72 kit and most of the og Macross toys get a Japan only label, but the toys are at least available at other sites
  18. I really wish they were purposely emphatic and unambiguous about announcing PO times; it would make life easier for everyone and give members, like me, some validation for purchasing said membership. I don't understand why, as in the past, they don't initiate POs for stuff shown that day, future product notwithstanding, following the stream instead of piecemealing the POs out over multiple days, which not only becomes confusing but also may pose a hindrance if you have plans. I rarely have plans, but it just so happens we're taking my mother-in-law out to lunch tomorrow and I'm hoping we'll be done eating before POs come up. Actually, I'm hoping to be home, as I hate trying to make purchases on my phone- much easier on my desktop. Anyway, huge thanks for the info, Mike. You're awesome.
  19. While it has its flaws, it's still a pretty decent toy and if your preference is to display in battroid, the DX makes for a superior display model over the old skinny-legged, wobbly-hipped Yamato, IMHO. Congrats on the find, on a great price, and on being the owner of an unblemished copy. I hope you enjoy it! πŸ‘
  20. Yesterday
  21. I had actually picked up a 2nd copy when I was checking around during prime deals day. It wasn't one of the prime deals, but seeing it was 180, I still got it. Even with the replacement I got from Bandai, on closer inspection of the replacement parts, the head laser was still slightly bent and the canopy hinge still had cracks in it. So I will keep my original one in battroid mode with the blacked out canopy in use. The new one I got was perfect. No cracked canopy hinges, no cracked anything, as far as I can tell on initial inspection and no stress marks or bends on the head laser.
  22. Yeah I got to admit, that was the laziest piece of writing for a finale as you could possibly get. As if Gunn just had no idea how to finish it and just randomized everything. I thought there was gonna be a big battle or something.
